This little one-shot is inspired by the DBZ Special titled 'Bardock: Father of Goku', and the fact that Jedi can have visions as well. And also the fact that I love Galen Marek and he is in my Top 5 favorite characters of the franchise, in both Legends and Disney combined.

"You were destined to destroy me. Do it! Give in to your hatred!" Sidious was goading Galen Marek to slay him, so he could turn to the Dark Side himself.

Marek raised his blue lightsaber to comply, when Rahm Kota put a hand on his shoulder from behind. "He's beaten. Let it go."

Galen shook his head. "It's a trick. He's stronger than you know. And he deserves to die for what he's done to me."

"Maybe so", Kota agreed Galen's anger was warranted. "But if you strike him down in anger, you'll be right back where you began."

Galen lowered his head, considering, letting Kota's words wash over him. He was right. Vader had trained him brutally, used his hatred to wipe out any shred of goodness within him.

Juno had helped him find it again. But right now, he was on a slippery slope. Any action committed out of anger and hatred would only serve to work against the Light within him.

Maybe one day he could learn to balance it. And that day he would slay Vader and Sidious. But it wasn't today.

"Get Bail and the others out of here, I'll be right behind you", Galen finally said, lowering his weapon.

Their ride was landing already. Kota turned to leave, only for Sidious to rise and strike the Jedi Master with Force Lightning, making him fall down as he convulsed violently.

Immediately, Galen jumped in the way, putting his hands up, taking the brunt of it, saving Kota.

He saw the Clone troopers running towards them from a side. Bail and the others ran next to him, and Galen told Kota. "Go! Protect the Senators!"

Bail and the others ran, Kota right behind them while the troopers shot at them, though none of the shots hit.

Galen slowly walked towards Sidious, continuing to take the brunt of the lightning.

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

He grabbed Sidious' hands, causing an explosion to occur, killing all the Clone troopers. And he felt the power of the Sith Lightning burn up his body too, slowly killing him.

But as he felt his life slip away, he saw something before his eyes.

A young man with sandy hair, not much older than him, facing Darth Vader, dueling him expertly. Then he saw Sidious torturing the man with Sith Lightning.

And the next image was Vader lifting up Sidious, letting the lightning damage himself in the process, and throwing him down into what looked like a reactor, causing a great explosion.

The last image was of the young man and the dying Vader speaking to each other. He saw the Light in Vader's eyes.

As he breathed his last, Galen was content. He had saved his friends, and one day, the Emperor would finally be ended, while this young man would help even Vader find the Light Side, just like he had found his own.

He was at peace now.
