Lulu felt bad about the fight she had with Johnny, so she let herself into his apartment to surprise him when he got home. Tapping her nails against the coffee table she got the sinking feeling that something was about to happen, something really messed up.
"It's okay Lulu, you're just imagining things. Everything will be fine. Johnny will walk through that door any minute, he'll put all of your worries to rest." Lulu chanted to herself but, it didn't really make her feel any better. Lulu stood up from the couch pacing back and forth wanting to calm her racing heart.
"What is going on right now? Chill out Lulu." Lulu groaned, putting her hands over her face. There were footsteps at the door, she recognized the scuff of combat boots. Lulu had spent months agonizing over them, Lulu used to jump at the sound of them when he'd come home. It brought out pure panic inside of her. It wasn't Johnny at the door, it was Logan.
"I really shouldn't have gotten mad at Lulu, she was right. Claudia is just using me... I gotta get away from this family." Johnny Zacchara mutters walking along the pier, almost running straight into Maxie Jones. Ugh, now she was going to talk to him! Great.
"I don't have time for this." Johnny thought to himself, just wanting to go home.
"I'm surprised Lulu doesn't have you on her leash she puts all her little boyfriends on. Sad." Maxie smirked at him touching his arm.
"I don't know what your deal is but, I would never chose you over Lulu. I don't know you. I don't like you. Lulu doesn't control me or manipulate me, don't fucking touch me." Johnny was growing tired of her games, jerking his arm away from her. Johnny would never call a woman a bitch but, he wanted to call Maxie one.
"Lulu doesn't know what to do with you, give it a few months. You two aren't going to last, Lulu just isn't any good." Maxie clucked her tounge in disapproval.
"Leave us alone, what is your obsession? It's weird. Why don't you go hang out with Claudia? Your both delusional as hell. I'd love to sit here and tell you how wrong you are but, I have somewhere to be." Johnny all but snarled at her, before walking away not bothering to hear Maxie's response.
Lulu rushed to the door sliding the lock in place and switching the lights off, anxiety building up in her chest.
"Lulu...I just want to talk." Logan's voice sounded eerie.
"I don't want to talk. I've said everything I needed to say. There's nothing left." Lulu kept her answers short, trying not to anger him.
"If you won't let me inside, I'll have to make my own way in." Logan started hacking away at the door with a axe, a startled gasp escaped Lulu's mouth as she quietly darted to the other side of the room. Lulu searched around for something to protect herself with but, Logan had her by the throat before she could look any further.
Johnny rode the elevator up to the penthouse trying to figure out how he would make it up to Lulu, when he approached his door to find it hacked to pieces.
"What the fuck?" Johnny gaped at it seeing all the lights off.
"Oh my God, Lulu." Johnny says in realization, she must be in his apartment. Someone was trying to hurt her. Johnny jumped over the pieces of his door and immediately flicked the light on to see Lulu laying on the coffee table, Logan had both of his hands around her throat squeezing the life out of her. Darkness threatened to consume her as she gasped for air, she tried to kick him but it was no use. All of a sudden she felt the pressure on her throat subside, her throat was raw but she could breathe now. Was she dead? Lulu glanced up from her stupor to see Johnny throwing Logan out of what was left of his door, Lulu hesitantly sat up. Johnny races over to her, cupping her face in his hands.
"Thank you." Was all she said tearing up as she wrapped her arms around his neck, burying her face into his chest.
"I'm so sorry, I should have been here with you. I would have been if we hadn't gotten into that stupid fight." Johnny lifted her into his arms, hugging her closer.
"Logan would have attacked me, it's like he's obsessed." Lulu sighs, pulling back to look at Johnny.
"You were right." Johnny looked into her eyes, placing his hands on her waist.
"Let's just...go somewhere for a little while." Lulu knew that if she stuck around, Logan might actually kill her.
"Where you wanna go? You know I'll take you anywhere. I think it would be good to get out of here." Johnny could tell things were getting dangerous. Johnny wanted to start a life of his own, he couldn't do that here.
"California." Lulu had always wanted to travel, something about California just spoke to her.
"Do you need to pack anything?" Johnny asked her.
"Everything I need is already here, I'll just pack that and we can leave." Lulu went to their bedroom to start packing things up as did Johnny.
"I wanna say goodbye to my dad." Lulu looks over at her boyfriend as they got in the car.
"We can do that." Johnny drove to the haunted star, they both walked inside to find Luke Spencer drinking a glass of scotch.
"Cupcake, young Zacchara. To what do I owe this pleasure?" Luke smiled at the young couple.
"I'm... leaving. I don't really know when I'll be back but, I wanted to say goodbye first." Lulu gives her father a small smile, to which Luke chuckled.
"You are my daughter." Luke gives her a hug, making eye contact with Johnny.
"You'll take care of her, I know you will. If you two don't come back at all I would understand, just let me know where you two crazy kids are." Luke pulled Johnny aside, knowing Lulu had finally met the right man.
"Yes I will, but I'm seriously thinking about it. I'm tired of everyone around here, especially when it comes to me and Lulu. We're never going to get any peace. Luke, I want to start a life with your daughter and I'll do whatever it takes to make that possible." Johnny had always liked Lulu's dad, maybe it's because they were similar.
"That's why Laura and I left, we got a marriage and two wonderful children out of it. You two will be better than we ever were. You make Lulu happy and that's every father's dream. Lulu has never been happy being stuck here, she needs to fly. You do too, get away from that crazy family of yours." Luke slightly smirked.
"Well, Lulu makes me happy too. I just thought you should know that Logan attacked her tonight, tried to strangle her. It was pure luck that I got home in time. Yeah, I need to get away from all of them. Being with your daughter has been the experience of my life, I don't intend to ever give Lulu up." As Johnny was talking he glanced lovingly at Lulu.
"I'll have to have a talk about... etiquette...with Baldwin's offspring. You two should get going, I won't even tell anyone I've seen the two of you." Luke's blood was boiling but, he relished the fact that Luke would give him the beating of a lifetime.
"Thank you Luke, I appreciate that. I think we'll be sticking around California for awhile, Lulu seems set." Johnny smirked, knowing she had him wrapped around her finger.
"Happy wife, happy life." Luke smirked as Lulu grabbed Johnny's arm.
"You ready?" Johnny asked, holding her hand.
"I'm ready."
