As the couple held hands they exited the haunted star, Lulu glanced up at Johnny lovingly.

"What?" Johnny smirked at her, opening the passenger door of his mustang.

"It's just... we're really doing this. I finally get to leave Port Charles, with the man I love. I've...been waiting for this moment my whole life and it's finally here. I just...never thought it would happen." Lulu smiled over at her boyfriend as he started up the mustang.

"We are really doing this, baby girl. I never thought I'd get off that hill. I'm not sure I would have had the strength to do that without you, you've made me a better man. This is what my mom would have wanted for me. She would have loved you. You are the woman I've always dreamed of, I love you." Johnny leaned over to kiss her head before speeding through the streets of Port Charles.

"You know we'll make plenty of stops along the way, it does take about six to seven days to drive from new York to California. We could have flown but, my family would try to ruin our adventure. You know?" Johnny wished they could have but, Claudia and Trevor would have been on his ass before take off.

"It's more romantic this way, though I was looking forward to joining the mile high club with you. Another time." Lulu smirked, intertwining their hands together.

"We can definitely check that off our bucket list before we die." Johnny chuckled, as they saw the "Welcome to Port Charles " sign disappear behind them.

"I've been waiting my whole life to see that stupid sign left in the dust. I could marry you."Lulu smirked, she had never been more attracted to Johnny than she was right now.

"When we get to California, that might not be a bad idea." Johnny never talked about marriage much because it was never a possibility before but, ever since he'd met Lulu it had been on his mind more and more.

"What's that?" Lulu arches an eyebrow.

"Marrying you." Johnny wasn't sure what her reaction would be but, he had to get it out there.

"You want to marry me?" Lulu was shell shocked.

"I want to do everything with you, Lu. You haven't figured that out yet?" Johnny chuckled, casting a glance her way.

"Well, I want to do everything with you too. All I know is that I'm glad we're doing this, Port Charles was holding both of us down. I'd be fine if I never had to go back to New York, I don't know what it is. There's just a certain soul sucking factor to that place." Lulu glanced out of the window as she spoke.

"Me too. We'll probably stop in Pennsylvania and get a room for tonight, it'll take six or seven days to get to California." Johnny didn't mind driving, it had always been his escape.

"We should stop at all the states we go through." Lulu was getting excited as she dug through her bag to show Johnny something.

"I brought my Polaroid so we can take pictures without shitty quality!" Lulu leaned over to peck Johnny on the lips, lifting up her camera.

"I love you, I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you." Johnny smirked returning her kiss. Lulu eventually fell asleep, the sound of the traffic lulling her to sleep. Johnny looked over at her getting ready to say something but realized she was asleep, Johnny just smiled to himself.

"How did I get so lucky? She's perfect."

Back in Port Charles at Crimson Pointe Claudia Zacchara was tapping her high heeled stiletto impatiently, before throwing her phone across the room.

"Why isn't he picking up?" Claudia had been trying to call her brother for hours, was he ignoring her for that tramp?

"Trouble?" A smirk played on Trevor Lansing's lips as he walked into the living room.

"John's not picking up." Claudia crossed her arms.

"John's young, he's probably out. John will come around in a week or so. I wouldn't worry about it. Anthony and Corinthos have come to an agreement." Trevor dismissed it.

"John always picks up for me." Claudia pressed on, pacing the length of the room.

"Not when he's with that Spencer girl, she's got him wrapped around her finger. John would do whatever she wants." Trevor was done trying to reason with him, because he would just do the opposite.

"Yeah." Claudia agreed with a huff, sitting down on the couch.

"John's not eighteen anymore, he had his own penthouse apartment. It's time for you to focus on your life." Trevor walked out, he grew tired of being Anthony's slave as the years went on. Trevor was about to start a war, Claudia had no idea about what was to come.

~Back in the mustang ~

Johnny had been driving for six hours when he saw a sign that read "Welcome to Pittsburgh." Johnny scouted around for a hotel, smirking when he found the Wyndham Grand hotel pulling into the parking lot.

"Are we here?" Lulu lightly blinked, letting out a soft yawn.

"Yeah, let me see if they have anything available for tonight. I'll be right back." Johnny softly kisses her, before getting out of the car and walking up to the receptionist desk.

"Yes, I was wondering if you had any rooms available." Johnny cleared his throat as the receptionist looked up at him.

"We have a king one bedroom available for tonight and tomorrow." She answers, after doing some clicking on her computer.

"That'll work, how much?" Johnny asked, getting his wallet out.

"For two nights it'll be $163." She nodded as Johnny handed her the money. Johnny went back to the car to let Lulu know that they had a room, they carried their bags inside and to the elevator.

"We're gonna stay tonight and tomorrow night, tomorrow I'm going to the ATM and withdraw all of the money on my card. Once my family figures out I'm not coming back they'll freeze my card." Johnny knew that they'd try to get him back but, he wasn't doing this anymore.

"Good, we could use a day to look around. Where are we, exactly?" Lulu leaned her head on Johnny's shoulder.

"Yeah, I thought so too. We're in Pittsburgh, I figured we'd take it one state at a time." Johnny knew she'd be more excited tomorrow morning.

"You must be pretty tired baby. How long were you driving?" Lulu softly touches his face.

"About six and a half, seven hours." Johnny shrugged, it really didn't bother him.

"Are you sure you're okay?" She asked, worried.

"Yeah, I don't mind. You've had a long day, let's get some sleep." Johnny put his arm around her, as they unlocked their room and stepped inside.
