It was a rainy morning. Remus John Lupin didn't care. He deserved it. He killed his parents. He doesn't even need to see them to know. Who else would be in their house on a full moon? The ten-year-old werewolf sighed as he sat on the steps of Wool's orphanage. Where else would he go, if it were not an orphanage? He could go to a police station, but they would ask him questions and he didn't want to tell them the truth. They wouldn't believe him anyway. He looked down at his small bag. He didn't need much. Or at least that's what he tells himself.

'You are a monster.' A voice in the back of his head whispered to him. Remus knew the voice was true. He put his head in his hands and let out a small sob.

"Son?" Remus didn't look up when he heard the voice. He was going to get it now. "Are you okay?" Remus looked up sharply at the question. He wondered if he should lie. He was at a muggle orphanage. They won't believe him if he told them that he was a werewolf and killed his parents.

"Son, can you hear me?" Remus looked behind him to see a muggle in a brown suit. He looked worried. Worried about him? No, that can't be right. He killed them. Remus flinched when he felt the person's hand on his shoulder. "Can you tell me your name?" Remus didn't answer. It's not that he didn't want to, it's just that he can't. He didn't look up when he heard someone else walking outside.

"Who's this? Where are his parents?" a new voice asked. However, Remus still didn't respond. The young werewolf didn't fight back as he felt himself being lifted off the ground.

"I'll go call the police," the new voice said. Remus kept his eyes on the ground. He sighed and picked up his bag and walked inside.

They won't believe him. He knows it. Either that or they'll lock him up for killing his parents. He didn't want to go to Azkaban. It's no place for a child but it's the place for a monster and he was a monster. He was sitting in the lobby of Wool's.

The sounds of children filled his werewolf ears. He wished that he could play with them, but he was not normal. Remus blinked when his eyes got heavy. No, he needed to stay awake. He needed to stay awake. However, his eyes dropped, and he fell asleep.

A werewolf attack, another one. Harry Potter sighed as he walked into the home. There was a smell of fresh blood when he walked into the dining room.

"What do we have?" he asked. Harry was a short man with messy black hair and hazel eyes that were covered with glasses. He was wearing green robes and had his wand in his hand.

"A muggle woman and her husband. According to the pictures they have a son, but we can't find him," an Auror said walking around the dining room table. Harry hummed and scoured the room. There were pictures of a small family.

"Also, whoever this werewolf is, they knew what they were doing," the Auror added. Harry nodded and looked at a picture of the poor parent's son. He looked about ten. The same age as his son. The boy had sandy blonde hair. There was scaring on his face.

"We need to find this boy," Harry said to his team. They all nodded as they continued to search the house.

To say Harry was shocked would be an understatement. One of the family members was a werewolf. Harry was in the basement of the house. The basement walls were covered in scratch marks.

"Yep, werewolf," he said slowly walking around the room. The room seemed tightly protected. Chains littered the floor. Harry hummed before he walked back to the stairs. The door to the basement's lock and the door was intact. Harry let out a sigh when he realized who the werewolf was, it was the boy. They needed to find him.

Remus woke to the sound of beeping. His eyes opened to find himself in a hospital room. "No, no," he muttered to himself. He can't be in a hospital. They will hate him, knowing that he was a werewolf.

Remus rubbed his eyes and looked at the door. No one was visiting. That was to be expected. He has no one. Who would want him anyway? Remus sighed as he sat up in the hospital bed. He could just stay here. Yeah, he had nowhere else to go. Remus shook his head and closed his eyes once more.

"We found him," Harry looked up from his paperwork in his office at the ministry. "He's in a muggle hospital," the Auror said walking into the messy room. Harry nodded and stood up.

"We need to get him," Harry said, grabbing his wand and calmly walking out of the room.

"Mr. Lupin?" Remus opened his eyes to a voice. He looked to the doorway to see a man standing there. He didn't look upset, but his arms were crossed confusing Remus. Remus nodded slowly.

"Y-Yes," he stuttered. The man sighed and walked closer to Remus. Remus tried not to flinch. "Are you here because I killed my parents?" Remus asked in a small squeak. The man looked at him shocked. This confused Remus even more.

"What, no, you didn't kill them, Mr. Lupin.," he said, pulling up a chair and sitting down.

"I'm a monster. I have killed them," Remus said, closing his eyes.

"You didn't. Now, I arranged so that you can stay with me until we figure this out," the man said standing up. Remus was confused.

"Why would you want a monster like me?" Remus asked if the man was gone before the question had left Remus's mouth'. Remus felt warmth.
