'Ugh, why do I feel so stiff and uncoordinated?' I wondered as I awakened. I tried to open my eyes, but I got a weird response in return. I got the sensation that I had no eyes, yet I could see things around me in a weird distorted, and fractured kind of way.

When I focused more, I realized it was the same for my other senses. Two of my senses, the sense of taste and the sense of touch were badly impacted, while the other two, the sense of smell and the sense of hearing were fractured similar to the sense of sight.

My sense of taste was barely there, making me feel like everything was like air. My sense of touch was fuzzy as if I was under mild anaesthetic medication and was touching raw cotton strands.

My sense of smell was hard to discern, making me dizzy from trying to figure out what the smells around me were. Similarly, my sense of hearing was highly distorted, making it seem like there were a bunch of whispers being crazily amplified in a weird way inside a badly constructed amphitheater.

It took me hours before I finally got somewhat used to these variants of the traditional five senses I should have had and found out that my body was just a rotting burnt corpse that was somehow being made to function through some weird power.

I managed to make myself stand up and look around. When I did so I was shocked once more at the sight that greeted my eyes.

As far as I could see, I seemed to be in some sort of forest area, with a large waterfall and a cliff nearby and a raging river flowing and churning below with powerful and rapid currents. It also seemed to be the time of twilight, just before complete sunset.

Soon, patches of memories seemed to come to me. Part of them were my memories yet some others were not in a sense, despite me having the feeling that it was what I was now.

The memories that I was familiar with were of my life on Earth. Though I could not remember anything regarding my personal details, I remembered the memories of the various Anime, TV-Shows, Web Series, Movies, and games I used to enjoy.

I also remembered that I used to have a tendency to secretly write fanfictions, and as such had accumulated a large amount of various knowledge from different fields of life to support that hobby.

The unfamiliar memories I awakened were of a being called Alveus. He seemed to have been experimented on by some powerful blue-colored beings, granting him the power to exist as a cloud of tiny parasitic beings that could devour anyone and maintain their existence, even completely transform into the person that was devoured, along with their abilities and memories.

There were various other flashes from Alveus's life, his struggles, his ambitions, and his war against humans and a group of superpowered individuals similar to him called Inhumans. The final snippet from Alveus's life was him being in a spaceship that exploded.

As I examined these memories, I finally recognized who this Alveus was from my memories of various shows and fandom sites.

This was the Inhuman Alveus, AKA the Hive, Also known as the so-called divine unkillable being who is worshipped by the HYDRA organization of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The name of this organization was also sometimes used as the pseudo-name for Alveus, as he was their "God".

"Wow, I am literally the Hive, one of the most powerful Inhumans ever. However, how did Alveus survive that blast that was for sure supposed to wipe out every last bit of him? And more importantly, how did I become Alveus? And most important of all, where exactly am I?"

Just as I was comprehending the immensity of this new information and pondering on the questions that arose as a result, I became aware of faint wisps of a conversation from the top of the cliff. Due to the distance, powerful wind, and my current state, I could not get any details of the conversation, except for the fact that they seemed to be young male humans.

Suddenly, one of the male humans jumped from the top of the cliff, seemingly wanting to kill himself in a suicide. Seeing this, an irresistible and powerful urge bloomed from within me, an urge to consume and to survive.

If this human male didn't feel like living anymore then I will accept the gift of his body and survive on his behalf. After all, even though I was alive at this moment, I could clearly sense that my body was basically running on fumes.

Whatever the force that saved me from that spaceship blast was, it didn't grant me enough energy to even repair myself to a healthy state. My parasitic Hive Cells were barely holding on, sacrificing a bunch of cells every moment just to have enough energy for the rest to survive a moment longer.

With this thought in mind, I let my instincts take over. My body disintegrated into a dense cloud of dust-like particles instantly, which were actually my individual cells. My Hive mind had no trouble controlling each particle-like cell effortlessly and instinctively, taking advantage of the wind and the innate floating ability of my Inhuman Hive Physique to fly toward the falling man.

As I neared him, he was already halfway down the cliff and he seemed to have been robbed of his eyes or in some way had them destroyed, as his eye sockets were bleeding and seemed empty.

But, then again, that didn't make much difference to me. My power worked on a genetic level. As long as I devour him I would be able to regenerate the eyes when I reform the body. It was no different from creating hair or skin if only a more delicate and careful process.

I silently yet completely enveloped the falling male with the cloud of my cells. I could see him clearly now at this distance and noticed that he was just a boy in his late teens, although one who seemed to be armed with swords, shuriken, kunai, and some other equipment.

'Am I in Japan? Is this boy doing cosplay of a Ninja? What kind of life has he led that he felt like doing suicide at such young age?' I wondered idly while letting my cells go to work. The boy panicked and struggled for a moment before relaxing and giving up, accepting his death calmly.

In just a few moments, right before I was about to reach the surface of the river, I finished devouring the boy and halted my descent. I controlled my cloud-like form and went back to the same spot on the shore from where I had observed the boy falling off the cliff.

At the same time, a third set of memories were filling my head, this one was of the boy I had just devoured. However, I was completely shocked when I came to know that the boy's name was Shisui Uchiha.

As my body instinctively started reconstructing and taking the form of the body I just devoured along with its equipment, my mind went through memory after memory of Shisui Uchiha. His childhood, his training, his background, his friendship, his struggles, his determination, up to the point of his sacrifice for the greater good, for his village named Konoha and its Will of Fire.

As these memories made their place in my mind, I finally understood where I was. I was not on my Earth. I was not in the MCU Earth either. I was in the Elemental Nations, the land of Shinobi, Samurai, Aliens, Giant Beasts, and more, all due to the presence of the supernatural energy called Chakra.

'Bloody Hell! Of course, I had to be in one of the most dangerous worlds ever. One where even a child could acquire the power to play with elements if he was talented and determined enough.'

'Inhuman physique and powers of Alveus could have made me a God on MCU Earth, but in Elemental Nations I am just as good as someone with a powerful bloodline.'

'Moreover, I don't even know if my ability to parasitize other Inhumans would work on people in this world, as they are just Humans influenced by Chakra. From what I remember about Alveus, he didn't seem to be able to parasitize regular humans.'

'Probably the one and only advantage I would have is my ability to devour and replicate the abilities, bloodline, and knowledge of my prey. If I act carefully, I could acquire a bunch of bloodlines, talents, and secret knowledge of this world through this method.'

'After all, accumulation with lead to a change in quality. I have already acquired Shisui Uchiha's Genes. Even if I don't get Kotoamatsukami or any other Mangekyo in the future, I will definitely at least have a regular Sharingan.'

'Combining that with other bloodlines, no matter how weak or seemingly useless, I will definitely one day forge myself into a God-like being, capable of single-handedly fighting and protecting myself from those alien Otsutsuki Clan Members, who are basically Parasitic Devourers of Worlds.'

'Well, game on then, one parasite against another. Let's see who wins at the end.' I determined myself mentally as my body finished forming, taking on the form of Uchiha Shisui completely without any flaws, even regenerating the lost eyes.

I opened my eyes with a slight smile, my eyes pulsing for a moment before turning into red disc-like pupils, that spun slowly with a single black tomoe in them. I knew this as my improved vision could see my visage reflected in the small water puddle nearby, formed by some splashes of the river.

"I guess I am Shisui Uchiha now," I said to myself, accepting my transmigration, my powers, and my place in this world.
