At Ever After High, Raven was leading a class outside.
"Alright, the next technique I'm going to demonstrate is the Iron Star Hammer," said Raven while standing before everyone.
"Um, actually Cerise is going to demonstrate," she said after noticing Daring trying to get her attention from the side. As Cerise went on to teach the class, Raven went over to the older Charming sibling.
"Sorry to interrupt your class, but I was wondering if you could help me in my training," said Daring.
"Take it that you hit a wall," said Raven.
"Big time, I'm actually stuck in the Nascent Soul Realm and haven't been able to make even a step further," said Daring.
"A month ago when I tested your Soul Realm it was too damaged to hold a Demon Spirit," said Raven while putting her hand to her chin as she thought.
"I know, but I figured you may have a way to help me progress," said Daring.
"There's only one technique I can think of for a person in your situation," said Raven before removing a book from her storage ring.
"The Demon Devouring Technique, it can let you take Demon Spirits and drain their energies in order to increase your cultivation," she said.
"So I can use Demon Spirits to grow stronger without fusing with them?" asked Daring.
"Yes, but you have to be careful in the rank of which ones you use as they could tear your Soul Realm even further if there is a big enough gap and then you will be fully crippled by it," said Raven.
"However, there is also the possibility of your Soul Realm healing from this too if done right and then you could have the chance to fuse with one," she said.
"Then I'll make sure to take it slow and easy while training," said Daring as he took the book before bowing to her.
"Are you sure that was a smart idea?" asked Apple who approached after Daring left.
"Daring has changed since I first met him, and that technique is perfect for him so I don't see any problem," said Raven.
"Alright then, if you are sure," said Apple before kissing her cheek.
