Shortly after Daring had left Briar and Faybelle, he was walking into a small restaurant that was just down the street.
"Sorry that I'm late," said Daring while approaching a table.
"It's alright," said Rosabella, who was already sitting at the table with a drink.
"Were you able to get the Demon Spirits that you needed?" she asked.
"Sure did, I'll be practicing long into the night once I'm back at the school," said Daring while taking a seat.
"Then I shouldn't keep you long," said Rosbella.
"Hey, you're worth putting off my cultivation for a while," said Daring with a smile while grabbing her hand.
"You really have changed lately," said Rosabella as she smiled back at him.
"I mean not too long ago you wouldn't have thought to use Demon Spirits to grow stronger or to even give me the time of day," she said, using her free hand to move some hair out of her face.
"That me was an arrogant fool who thought he knew better than anyone else," said Daring with a remorseful expression.
"But then the wave happened," he said.
"It must have hurt to stay on the wall while the rest of us went out to fight," said Rosabella.
"You have no idea, and then seeing you out there fighting and in danger while looking so beautiful at the same timeā¦," said Daring before realizing what he said.
"So, you thought I was beautiful back then?" asked Rosabella with a teasing grin.
"I did," said Daring who was blushing.
"For such a strong guy you sure do have a soft core, which I think shows just how good of a guy you really are," said Rosabella before kissing him. Meanwhile, at the Queen Family home, Grimhilde and Snow White were talking over some tea.
"Is everything prepared for the big day?" asked Snow White.
"Sure is, and neither Raven or Apple will see it coming," said Grimhilde before taking a sip of her tea.
