And now for episode 2! I hope you enjoyed the first episode. Looking at one of the reviews, I think I'll let the narrator take it away from here. Narrator~?
Tohru Adachi. Age: 27. This man was once a police officer, a man of the law. However, this was only on the surface. Past this surface, this man was a mass murderer known as "Magatsu-Izanagi". One night, he was defeated in a Duel by Jasmine, one of the Seven Heavenly Lights, after he was caught trying to enact one of his murders. Adachi explained his motive as being possessed by the darkness in his heart. Jasmine purified him to prevent this from happening. For a time. When the time came for the darkness to invade the world, Adachi was once again possessed by the darkness and was then executed by the other Six Heavenly Lights. This fact would never be shown to the public since the other Six Heavenly Lights were supposedly killed in action along with the darkness.
We cut to Satsuki thrusting her hands into the two lot boxes and swiftly pulling out two names. "Natsu Dragneel against… Ragna Kisaragi."
Natsu and Ragna come to the center. "Okay, kid, let's get this over with." Ragna grumbled, pulling out his Duel Disk.
"Hey, I don't want this to end so soon, but guess I don't have a choice." Natsu shrugged, doing the same.
"DUEL!"
Natsu LP: 4000
Ragna LP: 1000
"Heads or tails, Natsu?" Satsuki asked.
"Heads!" Natsu called. Satsuki flips the coin and it lands on…
"Heads. Three in a row… Hmm…" Satsuki hummed.
Cue: Invoke Magic (Fairy Tail)
"Okay! I'll kick things off by summoning Salamangreat Wolvie!" Natsu declared, summoning a wolf with fire coming out of it.
LV: 4
ATK: 1700
"Next, I activate the Spell Card Fury of Fire!" Natsu exclaimed, revealing a spell card that has a portal of fire on it. "This lets me Special Summon up to two Salamangreat monsters from my hand or graveyard in defense position, but their effects are negated and I can only Special Summon from my Extra Deck once! I Special Summon, from my hand, Salamangreats Parro and Falco!" He yelled, summoning two bird-like monsters that have fire coming out of them.
DEFs: 1000 and 1600 respectively.
"Appear! Circuit that leads to my dreams! The summoning condition is two or more Salamangreat monsters! Arrowheads are confirmed!" Natsu grunted excitedly as he sent three of his monsters to the top, bottom left, and bottom right arrows. "Link Summon! Come out! Link 3: Salamangreat Heatleo!" He shouted, summoning a large anthropomorphic lion with flames coming out of him.

"I place the last card in my hand face down and end my turn!" Natsu finished, doing so.
"Hm. A monster with 2300 Attack Points, huh? Not bad, but… it's my turn now. I draw!" Ragna began. "I activate the effect of Ahrima, the Wicked Warden from my hand. By discarding it, I can add the Field Spell Lair of Darkness from my deck to my hand. I will then activate it!" He declared, doing so, making the field flood with darkness, menacing faces surrounding the two Duelists. "While in this field, every monster has their Attribute become DARK, if they aren't already DARK Attribute to begin with. I then summon Lilith, Lady of Lament." He continued, summoning a demonic woman.

"Her Attack Points were originally 2000, but since I Normal Summoned her, they became 1000. I place one card of my own face down and end my turn." Ragna said, doing so.
'Hmm… Ragna seems to be on the backfoot. What's he planning, I wonder…?' Izuku hummed in thought.
"My turn! I draw!" Natsu exclaimed, drawing a card. "I summon Salamangreat Spinny!" He declared, summoning a hedgehog of fire.

"Open again! Circuit that leads to my dreams! Summoning condition is a level 4 or below Cyberse monster! Get in there, Spinny!" Natsu ordered, Spinny going into the bottom arrow. Link Summon! Come out! Link 1: Salamangreat Baelynx!

End Song and Cue: Dragon Slayer (Fairy Tail)
"Baelynx's effect kicks in! When Link Summoned, I can add a Salamangreat Sanctuary from my deck to my hand! I then activate it!" Natsu proclaimed as he summoned a volcano with enough heat to burn away the darkness from behind himself. "And now, I'll-"
"Hold it. I'm activating this: The Trap card Ice Dragon's Prison! This card special summons a monster from your graveyard to my side of the field. I'll choose Salamangreat Spinny!" Ragna exclaimed, revealing a trap card that shows two dragons battling it out and summoning Spinny to his side of the field.
ATK: 1000
"However, Spinny's effects are negated. Then, I can banish 1 monster from both players' fields that share a Type. I banish both Spinny… and Heatleo!" Ragna told Natsu before both Spinny and Heatleo disappeared.
"Ah! No way! Gah… I end my turn." Natsu grumbled.
'Ice Dragon's Prison… It certainly uses a Duelist's Type reliance against them…' Izuku took notes.
"During your End Phase, I activate Lilith's effect. By tributing a DARK monster, I get to reveal 3 Normal Trap cards from my deck and you pick one at random. I tribute your Baelynx." Ragna stated.
"H-Huh? Why not Lilith?" Natsu asked.
"Because my Lair of Darkness allows me to tribute ANY DARK Attribute monster, including monsters whose Attribute used to be FIRE." Ragna answered. "Now say bye to Baelynx." He urged, Baelynx disappearing. He then reveals the trap cards to Natsu.
"Let's see… I have to choose one at random, so… I'll choose that one!" Natsu exclaimed, pointing to the left card with his eyes closed.
"The card you chose is set to my field. And that card is Back to the Front." Ragna said, setting the card. "During the End Phase, a Torment Token is summoned to your field since I used your monster as tribute for Lilith's effect." He added, summoning a shadow with a face to Natsu's field.

"It's my turn now. I draw! From my hand, I activate Foolish Burial, sending The Bystial Lubellion from my deck to the graveyard." Ragna said, showing a Spell Card that has a person popping out of the grave with a shovel in hand. "Now, I'll activate Lilith's effect again, but this time, I'm tributing her." He told Natsu before doing so, showing Natsu three more trap cards.
End Song and Cue: Rebellion I or II (Blazblue: Calamity Trigger/Continuum Shift or Chrono Phantasma/Central Fiction)
"I'll pick… this one!" Natsu declared, pointing to the middle card with his eyes closed again.
"I set Trap Trick. Next, I'll activate the Trap I had you set for me earlier: Back to the Front!" Ragna exclaimed, showing a trap card that has the image of a man shoving someone to the front lines. "This card allows me to Special Summon a monster from my graveyard in face-up Defense Position. I Special Summon Ahrima, the Dark Warden!" He growled, summoning a demonic dog.
DEF: 0
"Now, I activate Ahrima's effect. Once per turn, I can tribute a DARK monster to either draw a card or, if I tribute a monster other than Ahrima, add a DARK monster with 2000 or more Defense Points from my deck to my hand instead. But I think I'll get it either way. I'll tribute Ahrima." Ragna stated, doing so then drawing a card. "Next, since a DARK monster I control has been tributed, I can Special Summon Darkest Diabolos, Lord of the Lair from my hand!" He proclaimed, summoning a giant dark dragon.
ATK: 3000
"Holy whoa! That's one huge dragon!" Izuku exclaimed out loud.
"Battle! Darkest Diabolos attacks your token!" Ragna declares as the dragon fires a blast of dark energy that obliterates the token. "During my Main Phase 2, I tribute my Diabolos to Special Summon, from my graveyard, The Bystial Lubellion in Defense Mode!" He roared, summoning a giant shining dragon.
DEF: 3000
"Now I'll use its effect. Once per turn, during one of my Main Phases, I can place 1 Branded Continuous Spell or Trap from my deck to my field face up. I'll place Branded Regained." Ragna stated, placing a Spell card with the image of a young lady taming a chained dragon onto the field. "Next, I activate Allure of Darkness." He said, activating a Spell with darkness surrounding a deck as the image. "This allows me to draw 2 cards, but banish 1 DARK monster in my hand, but if I don't, I send my entire hand to the grave. Here goes…!" He grunted, drawing two cards. "...Too precious. I banish Loris, Lady of Lament from my hand. And that sets off Branded Regained. If a LIGHT or DARK monster is banished while this card is on the field, I get to return that monster to the bottom of the deck. And if I do, I draw one card. I return Loris to the bottom of my deck." He declared, doing so. "I set three cards face down and end my turn. And since I tributed three times, I get to Special Summon three Torment Tokens."

"Man… This is getting me all fired up! My turn! I draw!" Natsu exclaimed, doing so. "I activate Pot of Greed to draw 2 cards!" He stated, showing a pot with a greedy face then doing so. "Oh yeah. You're in for it now! I activate the Trap Return from the Different Dimension! This card lets me Special Summon as many banished monsters as I can! I just need to pay half my Life Points to do so!" He proclaimed, showing a trap card that has many people escaping from a dimension.
Natsu LP: 4000/2 = 2000
"I Special Summon Heatleo and Spinny! With them back, your Loris comes out to play!" Natsu told him as he summoned Heatleo and Spinny to his side of the field and a blonde demonic young lady to Ragna's.
ATKs: 2300, 1000, and 1500 respectively.
"Next, I'll use Salamangreat Sanctuary's effect! Once per turn, I can Reincarnation Link Summon!" Natsu yelled as he started bursting into flames, but this did not hurt him. Quite the opposite.
"Reincarnation what?" Ragna huffed in confusion.
"I tribute Heatleo in order to summon another Heatleo, but with more monster effects!" Natsu declared, doing so as Heatleo's flames burned brighter.
ATK: 2300
"And now, I'll activate Heatleo's Reincarnation effect! Once per turn, I can target a monster on your field and a Salamangreat monster from my graveyard! Your monster's Attack Points become the same as the Salamangreat monster I target! I choose your Loris to share the amount of Attack Points my Baelynx has!" Natsu roared as Loris was now surrounded by Baelynx's flames, making her weaker.
Loris ATK: 1500 → 500
"And now to end this!" Natsu proclaimed. "Battle! Go Heatleo! Attack his Loris, Lady of Lament!"
"You thought you had me, kid, but… that won't do any good. I activate Trap Trick! By banishing a Normal Trap card from my deck, I can set another copy of the card. That copy can be activated this turn. I banish Mirror Force and set another one directly from my deck. Then, I'll activate it! Say goodbye to all your monsters!" Ragna denied, first revealing a trap that has the image of two girls in front of three beings, two of which are of green skin, followed by a trap that has an attack backfiring.
"Is that what you think? I activate the effect of Salamangreat Baelynx! By banishing it, I can protect my Salamangreat monsters from being destroyed!" Natsu responded.
'I could end this with Called By the Grave, but… Eh.' Ragna thought. "Good move… You beat me." He smirks as Heatleo charges up a flaming spiral attack that destroys Loris.
ATK difference: 2300 - 500 = 1800
Ragna LP: 1000 → 0
WINNER: NATSU DRAGNEEL
End song.
"H-Huh? But… why didn't you use your other set cards?" Natsu asked.
"Simple. They couldn't help." Ragna answered. Natsu looks at one of the spells and sees one of them having the image of a zombified finger pointing at an old man.
"This is Called By the Grave… You could've used this on my Baelynx!" Natsu exclaimed. "Dang it! I want a rematch!"
"We'll have it if you behave yourself here." Ragna sent off, going to his spot. Natsu puffs his cheeks and grumbles as he goes back to his seat.
"Ragna. Natsu has a point. Your Called By the Grave card could have lasted you longer." Satsuki told him.
"Yeah, but I couldn't just DO that to the kid. He's got what I used to have. I COULD have dashed his dreams along with everyone else's, if I CHOSE to do that. …But I didn't." Ragna replied. "Whether that's a bane or a boon… is up to him and everyone else that enrolls."
"...I see. Very well. Next time, do NOT hold back." Satsuki warned.
"R-Right…" Ragna nodded nervously.
"Anyway, onto the next Duel." Satsuki huffed before drawing two more lots. "Tanjiro Kamado will be Dueling against… Tsubaki Yayoi."
Tanjiro and Tsubaki come up. "I'm honored to be Dueling one of my seniors, even if for only a moment." Tanjiro bowed in respect.
"Thank you for the respect, but I won't make it easy on you." Tsubaki said.
"I wouldn't want you to!" Tanjiro exclaimed, pulling out his Duel Disk while Tsubaki did the same.
"DUEL!"

Tsubaki LP: 1000
"I'll allow Tsubaki to go first. No coin flip needed." Tanjiro stated. Satsuki looked at him then at Tsubaki.
"Do you accept this, Tsubaki?" Satsuki asked.
"If it's fine with you, milady." Tsubaki answered.
"...Very well. First move goes to Tsubaki." Satsuki declared.
Cue: Condemnation Wings I or II (Blazblue Continuum Shift or Chrono Phantasma/Central Fiction)
"All right then. First, I play the Field Spell Sanctuary in the Sky!" Tsubaki began, summoning a heavenly light from the sky, a sanctuary appearing all around her. "With this card, Fairy-Type monsters will ensure that their controllers take no damage from battles involving them. And here comes one of them! The Agent of Creation, Venus!" She declared, summoning a fairy-like woman with three balls of different colors surrounding her.

"I now activate her effect! By paying 500 Life Points, I Special Summon a Mystical Shine Ball from my deck!" Tsubaki exclaimed, doing so, summoning a ball shining on everyone.

"I place two cards face down and end my turn." Tsubaki said as she did as she said she would do.
"My turn then. I draw! I summon Shiranui Squire!" Tanjiro started, summoning a young lady with a naginata.

"Squire's effect! Once per turn, after being Normal Summoned, she allows me to Special Summon a monster with Shiranui Spectralsword in its name from my deck. I Special Summon Shiranui Spectralsword!" Tanjiro exclaimed as he summoned a ghostly man with a sword.

"For the rest of this turn, I cannot Special Summon other monsters except Zombie-Type monsters. I tune level 2 Spectralsword with level 4 Squire!" Tanjiro declared as the two monsters jumped into the air, Spectralsword jumping further or higher. "Become the scarlet lotus! A flower so pure right up to the end! A flower that will light the way to my fate! Synchro Summon! Cut through! Level 6: Shiranui Samuraisaga!" He chanted as Spectralsword turns into two green rings, Squire turning into four motes of light before a green pillar of light appears then shows a man with a flaming sword coming in and prepares to strike.

"Impressive, to be sure. However… I'll activate the Counter Trap Solemn Judgment!" Tsubaki revealed, showing a judgmental old man. "By paying half of my remaining Life Points, your Samuraisaga's summoning is negated and it's destroyed!"

Chains suddenly bind Samuraisaga, making him groan before he explodes. "Gh… I place three cards of my own face down and end my turn." Tanjiro conceded, doing so.
"My turn. I draw! I summon another Mystical Shine Ball!" Tsubaki began, doing so.

ATK: 500
"I now Overlay my two level 2 Mystical Shine Balls!" She exclaimed, the two monsters glowing in yellow energy before being sent into the air and then into a red vortex of energy. "With these two monsters, I will build the Overlay Network! XYZ Summon! Come forth! Rank 2: Gachi Gachi Gantetsu!" She yelled, summoning a golem with chains.

"All face up monsters I control gain 200 Attack AND Defense Points from Gantetsu for each Overlay Unit it has." Tsubaki smirked.

"Venus, attack Tanjiro directly!" Tsubaki commanded.
"Not so fast! You'll need to get past Samuraisaga first!" Tanjiro boasted.
"What? But he's already-"
"I'll activate this: The trap Haunted Shrine!" Tanjiro interrupted, revealing a trap card with ghosts and a shrine. "When I control no monsters, I can Special Summon a Zombie-Type monster from my graveyard! Come back to me! Shiranui Samuraisaga!" He ordered, summoning Samuraisaga back from the grave.

"So. Still want to attack?" Tanjiro asked.
"Not quite. I'll activate another Counter trap: Black Horn of Heaven!" Tsubaki growled, revealing a trap with a black horn that has bat wings. "When you would Special Summon exactly one monster, I can negate that summon and destroy it!" She exclaimed, blowing on the black horn, making Samuraisaga cover his ears.
"I'll activate another Trap of my own: Shiranui Style: Swallow's Slash! By tributing a Zombie-Type monster, I can destroy two cards you control! I tribute Samuraisaga to destroy your Sanctuary in the Sky and your Agent of Creation Venus!" Tanjiro declared, doing so and interrupting Tsubaki's horn playing as the sanctuary and Venus exploded. "I then banish a Shiranui monster from my graveyard due to the effect of Swallow's Slash. I'll banish Shiranui Samurai from my deck. Next, Samurai's effect. When banished, Samurai allows me to add a Shiranui monster from my graveyard to my hand. I'll add Shiranui Squire to my hand."
"Ah… Not bad. I end my turn." Tsubaki conceded.
"I draw! I summon Shiranui Squire again!" Tanjiro exclaimed, doing so.

"And her effect kicks in again. This time, I Special Summon Shiranui Spectralsword Shade from my deck! After all, it does have Shiranui Spectralsword in its name." Tanjiro smirks as he summons a different version of Spectralsword.

"Now, I tune level 3 Spectralsword Shade with level 4 Squire!" He declared as the two jumped into the air. "Embrace the light, pain and anger! If you won't be chosen… then it's time for YOU to choose! Synchro Summon! Let's choose together! Level 7: Shiranui Squiresaga!" He chanted as he summoned a more powerful version of Shiranui Squire.
LV: 3 + 4 = 7
ATK: 2100
"Next, I activate the Spell Card Stop Defense!" Tanjiro reveals a Spell card that shows the image of a man holding a shield having a white X cover the image. "This changes your Gantetsu to attack position."
"Ah! No!" Tsubaki gasped as Gantetsu suddenly stood up.
ATK: 500 + 400 = 900
"I now activate Spectralsword's effect from my graveyard! By banishing both it and a Shiranui monster from my graveyard, I can Synchro Summon!" Tanjiro declared. "I banish Spectralsword and Shiranui Samuraisaga!" He proclaimed as both Spectralsword and Samuraisaga appear and jump into the air. "Roar with your voice beyond blurred with tears! Let it echo into the landscape! Let it scatter as a song! Synchro Summon! Come forth! Shiranui Shogunsaga!" He roared as he summoned the white haired man from the Opening song.
LV: 2 + 6 = 8

"Shogunsaga attacks Gantetsu! Flame Breathing: First Form: Unknowing Fire!" Tanjiro shouted as Shogunsaga went and, in the blink of an eye, slashed Gantetsu, making it explode.

"Good job. Even if I had more Life Points, you would have performed a One Turn Kill…" Tsubaki conceded.
"It means a lot, your kind words. I'll cherish them." Tanjiro bowed in respect. "You had a good defense too."
"I'm not quite sure of that myself…" Tsubaki admitted. "But either way, we should go back to our spots now."
"Wow. They're so humble… Maybe everyone here is super nice! …Aside from Labilia and Lucy." Izuku smiled, not knowing that he might have jinxed himself. Satsuki pulls out two more names.
"Next up is would-be freshman Giorno Giovanna against Senior Gunvolt Lumen." Satsuki declared as the two prepared to duel without a word.
"DUEL!"

Gunvolt LP: 1000
"Heads or tails, Giorno?" Satsuki asked.
"I'll choose Tails." Giorno answered. Satsuki flips the coin and it comes up…
"Tails."
Cue: Izayoi Battle (Yu-Gi-Oh! 5Ds)
"Never fails." Giorno hummed. "First, I summon Traptrix Atrax in Attack Position." He started, summoning a girl with the additional appearance of an Australian Funnel-Web Spider.
LV: 4
ATK: 1800
"I end my turn with that." Giorno said.
'Huh? Why isn't he setting any traps? Does he not have any in his hand?' Izuku thought to himself.
"Something about this smells odd… but all right. I'll call your bluff. I draw!" Gunvolt grunted. "I'll activate the Spell card 1st Movement Solo!" He began, showing a baton and score book. "Since I control no monsters, I can Special Summon a level 4 or lower Melodious monster from my hand or deck! I Special Summon, from my deck, Serenade, the Melodious Diva!" He declared, summoning a lavender skinned humanoid with pink hair and a yellow dress.

DEF: 1900
"Next, since Serenade has been Special Summoned, I can Normal Summon a Melodious monster from my hand in addition to my 1 Normal Summon or Set. But first, since I control a Melodious monster, I Special Summon Sonata, the Melodious Diva!" He told Giorno, summoning a yellow skinned humanoid with green hair and a blue dress.

"While Sonata is on the field and has been Special Summoned beforehand, all Fairy-Type monsters I control, including Sonata, gain 500 Attack Points AND Defense Points!"
Sonata ATK: 1200 + 500 = 1700
Serenade DEF: 1900 + 500 = 2400
"I'll now Normal Summon Opera, the Melodious Diva!" Gunvolt declared, summoning a smaller humanoid with red hair and wings on her back.

"Holy whoa! Opera's a level 4 monster that has Attack Points higher than 2000! The only one I know of with that much Attack Points is Goblin Attack Force, whose effect has them switch to Defense Position after they attack…" Izuku muttered.
"I'll activate this Trap Card: Trap Hole!" Giorno suddenly exclaimed, revealing a trap card with the image of a monster trapped inside a hole.
"What? You can't activate Trap Cards from your hand." Gunvolt pointed out.
"I can with Atrax. So long as the Trap Cards I activate from my hand are "Hole" Normal Trap cards AND the conditions for activation are met, I can activate as many as I want from my hand." Giorno counter-pointed, Opera falling into a hole made from below her. "Your first Normal Summon was wasted, since Opera was Normal Summoned with 2300 Attack Points. Trap Hole negates the Normal Summon of a monster with 1000 or more Attack Points and destroys it."
"Tch. In that case, I tribute Serenade to Tribute Summon Mozarta, the Melodious Maestra!" Gunvolt growled, making Serenade disappear to summon a large sky blue skinned fairy in a red dress.

"Now I'll use her effect. Once per turn, I can Special Summon a LIGHT Attribute Fairy-Type monster from my hand! I'll Special Summon Soprano, the Melodious Songstress!" Gunvolt declared, summoning a green skinned humanoid wearing a dress of black and white.

"When Soprano is Special Summoned, I add one of my Melodious monsters from my graveyard to my hand. I'll add Opera. Next, I'll use Soprano's second effect! Once per turn, by tributing materials for it from my side of the field, I can Special Summon a Melodious Fusion monster from my Extra Deck! I'll use both Soprano and Mozarta!" Gunvolt exclaimed, Soprano and Mozarta jumping into the air. "Songstress, mistress of music, join together and become a beacon of hope! Never falter! Fusion Summon! Come out! Level 6: Bloom Diva, the Melodious Choir!" He chanted as he summoned a humanoid with wavy blue hair.

"Don't let her low Attack Points fool you. Her effect is devastating." Gunvolt warned.
"Oh, I won't. In fact, I won't need to see what it does. I'll use Atrax's effect once again to activate another "Hole" Normal Trap card: Deep Dark Trap Hole!" Giorno declared, revealing a trap card that shows a large Japanese man falling down a deep dark trap hole.
"Sorry, but Bloom Diva can't be destroyed by card effects." Gunvolt smirked.
"No, but she can be BANISHED by them, right?" Giorno asked with a smirk of his own.
"What do you mean?" Gunvolt asked back.
"When a level 5 or higher effect monster is summoned from the Extra Deck, this card negates the summon of that monster and banishes it. Oh, and your Bloom Diva just so happened to be level 6, wasn't she? Or did I hear you wrong?" Giorno brought up as Bloom Diva gets sucked into a deep dark trap hole, never to return.
"Bloom Diva!" Gunvolt called in futility. "Gh… I end my turn."
"It's my turn now. I draw! I summon Traptrix Dionaea!" Giorno proclaimed as he summoned a black haired girl reminiscent of the Venus Flytrap.
