The Loud House
Rise of the Titans
Chapter 2: King of the Monsters
The year is 1600 A.D. on planet Earth, and Optimus Primal is narrating the events that took place on that crucial century…
Earth, birthplace of the human race. A planet filled with life and sustenance, one that we are more than happy to call home. For centuries, our kind has defended and protected the royal lineage of the rulers of the country known as Scotland, also known as the Louds. Among them were the parents of both ten daughters and their only son, also known as the Duke of Loch Loud.
The Louds stood atop Loch Loud, with the Duke standing in front of them, admiring his land and his people of Scotland.
"Ah, another beautiful day in our merry, little village", the white-haired Duke smiled.
"Indeed, son, you sure do know how to ensure our beloved Scotland is running as it should", the Duke's father agreed.
"Yeah, I'm sure Scott would be happy…", one of the Duke's older sisters said as she daydreamed about her love interest.
"We know!", the other siblings rolled their eyes.
The Louds were a happy family, beloved both by us, and more importantly, the townspeople of Scotland. However, being a royal family, the Louds were bound to be in jeopardy of their rule, not just by man, but by monster…
Unfortunately, the Louds' day became interrupted when a large pterodactyl came soaring down at them. However, this pterodactyl wasn't just any normal-sized pterodactyl, this one was huge enough to where it could level entire cities with a flap of its wings and its skin seemed to course with lava and heat. This was none other than Rodan, the Fire Demon. When Rodan came swooping down, the wind from his wings caused entire buildings to be destroyed instantly as he flew straight for the Louds, roaring at the top of his lungs while doing so.
"Everyone! Inside! Quickly!", the Duke ordered his family.
With the threat of Rodan coming at them, the Louds quickly retreated into their castle. Once they were inside, many of the sisters couldn't help but panic with the impending doom knocking at their door.
"Well, this is certainly an unprecedented event", the young, child prodigy of the family said. "Given what is currently occurring outdoors, I strongly suggest we take what is only the most logical course of action: start panicking!"
Hearing this, the entire family was in pandemonium, all except for the Duke. "Everyone, relax, it's going to be okay", he said in a calm voice.
"How can you say that?!", the little princess of the family asked.
"We've been in situations like this before, and I know our guardian will come to save us", the Duke smiled.
The Loud boy was correct. There was indeed a guardian of Loch Loud, a large monstrous creature that dwells in the seas of Scotland, one that has been protecting the Loud dynasty even before we arrived…Godzilla.
In the ocean of Scotland further out into the bay, a large, blue glow was emitted from the water as it seemed to draw closer and closer to the surface. As the entity drew closer, large, jagged spikes started poking out of the water, which were responsible for emitting the blue light. Then, as the creature drew closer, its head revealed itself from the water as it let out an iconic roar, a roar that let the people of Scotland know who he was, Godzilla, King of the Monsters and Guardian of Loch Loud.
Noticing the challenger, Rodan ceased his attack on the city and directed his attention towards Godzilla, flying at hm while doing so. By this time, Godzilla had arisen from the water and stood straight up, revealing his towering height over the buildings. Flying at Godzilla, Rodan wasted no time in sinking his talons into Godzilla's skin, causing the King to let out a painful growl or two. With Rodan having the upper hand, he used his sharp, hot beak to penetrate Godzilla's shoulder, causing him to roar in pain again. But the King of the Monsters would not bow down so easily, and Godzilla bit Rodan's wing, and after sinking his teeth in enough, Godzilla threw the Fire Demon to the ground, away from the building so as to not harm the people of Scotland. Angry, Rodan flew back up to the sky, spread his huge wings, and flapped them repeatedly in an effort to intimidate Godzilla. Godzilla remained unphased by this, and roared back, indicating he was not at all intimidated. By this time, the Louds had returned from the inside of Loch Loud, in order to watch the showdown take place. Rodan tried to fly at Godzilla with all his might from a great distance to get more momentum, but Godzilla was ready for him. As a counterattack, Godzilla's spikes on his back started glowing a bright blue color, and eventually, even his eyes did the same, and it looked as if something was charging in his mouth. By the time Rodan got extremely close to Godzilla, Godzilla fired his iconic atomic breath right at him, a large blue beam comprised of pure atomic energy, rumored to be even hotter than the sun. Why do we not know if it's hotter than the sun? Well, that's because no one ever lived to tell about it.
The shot from Godzilla's atomic breath sent Rodan flying back, and when it was finished, Rodan lay on the ground, wounded, burnt, and defeated. Godzilla then approached the down Fire Demon and loomed over him before giving out his iconic roar right in his face, indicating that he had won. Rodan roared back, all be it weaker, and got back on his feet, took off, and retreated into the sky. Godzilla watched with a teethy grin as both his and the Louds' adversary flew away. However, Godzilla's attention would be driven somewhere else when he heard both the townspeople and the Louds cheering for him. Seeing the Louds cheering for him, the people he swore to protect, Godzilla approached them, stomping heavily as if he was shaking the Earth as he walked closer.
"We love you, Godzilla!", the same sister said who had a crush on that Scott guy.
"Good boy!", another, younger sister said, this one having an infatuation for both dirtiness and exotic animals.
"Here, Godzilla, you wanna say 'hi' to our newest born?", the Duke asked as he held his baby sister in front of his massive face.
"Mmm…", the baby sister whined a bit, being afraid of Godzilla.
"It's alright, Godzilla won't hurt you", the modest Duke smiled. "Here, watch…", he said as he lifted his arm up and gently placed his hand on Godzilla's nose.
In response, Godzilla gave out a gentle snort, for him anyway. For the Louds, it felt like a small gust of wind, but they didn't mind.
"Here, it's okay…", the Duke smiled as he took his baby sister's hand and placed it on Godzilla's nose like he did. Godzilla then let out a friendly growl in response.
"Gozilly!", the baby sister babbled in her adorable voice.
"Awwwwwwww!", the rest of the Loud family reacted.
With this, Godzilla retracted himself from the Louds and walked back into the sea where he belonged, all while the Louds and the townspeople cheered him on as he left.
"Goodbye, Godzilla!", the jokester of the Louds said.
"Rock on, my wayward son!", the family rockstar added.
Then, Godzilla retreated into the water, eventually bending down so he could swim once he got far enough. As Godzilla swam through, at first, only his spikes were visible again, until the King of the Monsters was gone, and would wait for the next time the Louds needed him.
It was true that the people of Scotland were more than happy with the leadership from the people of Loch Loud, and the current Duke was undoubtedly the best and most modest Duke in the country's history, and with Godzilla as their Guardian, Scotland seemed like it was in good hands, and us Maximals had finally found a new place to call home after the destruction of ours.
Sometime later, a large, frozen glacier of ice is shown in the Arctic, holding what appeared to be a large, three-headed dragon, even bigger than Godzilla, frozen inside of it.
Unfortunately, all of that would change on the day someone awoke an evil monster, one that could rival even the power of Godzilla…
After Primal narrated this, the ice holding the dragon began to crack, and soon enough, all the ice exploded away by the electricity emulating from the beast! The three-headed dragon was huge, possessing three heads, each with its own consciousness, large wings, and a height from head to toe that was almost twice as large as Godzilla!
…Monster Zero, or more commonly known…as King Ghidorah… King Ghidorah was powerful enough to where his mere existence around the globe caused storms to erupt throughout every corner of the Earth. And to make matters even worse, Ghidorah vowed to put an end to his ancient rival, Godzilla, and claim his title as King of the Monsters.
After King Ghidorah was free, he eventually landed in Scotland, and when he did, he wasted no time in using his powerful gravity beams to destroy any buildings that lay in his path. When Ghidorah landed, the titan's power caused it to rain and storm in Scotland, as if to add to just how powerful and evil King Ghidorah really is.
"Great heavens! What in the name of the Roman Empire is that?!", the Loud's child prodigy asked, referring to King Ghidorah. "I've never seen any monster that big before!"
"Do not worry!", the Duke replied. "Godzilla will return to save us again! I know it!"
While King Ghidorah laid waste to the people of Scotland, the Astro-Monster intended to take his time. He was hoping that Godzilla would show himself so he could put an end to him. It did not take long for Ghidorah to get his wish, since he was met with the same blue beam of energy being shot at him from Godzilla, hoping to save Scotland once again. Once the blast of atomic breath dissipated and Ghidorah was shot back, Godzilla revealed himself in the rain and let out his loud and iconic roar, challenging Ghidorah to a fight. When Godzilla revealed himself, the people cheered once again.
Getting back up and easily recovering from the blast, King Ghidorah flew at Godzilla as fast and as hard as he could. Ghidorah was so fast to where Godzilla couldn't think quick enough until his adversary got the upper hand. Once he was close enough, Ghidorah's middle head wrapped his head around Godzilla and bit him right on his face, and the other two heads bit him on the shoulders, causing Godzilla to roar in pain. To make things even worse, hues of blue energy began to appear on Ghidorah's necks, indicating that this titan had the ability to drain Godzilla of his energy. But the King of the Monsters would not fall so easily, and Godzilla was able to muster enough energy to use his atomic breath to blast Ghidorah's middle head clean off! The pain caused Ghidorah's other heads to let go of him, and the dragon was forced to fly back a bit so as to distance himself from Godzilla. Godzilla roared again, claiming his victory in mortally wounding King Ghidorah, or so he thought. You see, King Ghidorah had yet another trick up his sleeve, the ability to regenerate. At first, the guts visible in the decapitated middle neck began pulsating, and in a matter of seconds, the middle head regrew itself, putting Ghidorah back at full strength. Once his head was regrown, all three heads of King Ghidorah roared back at Godzilla.
Already, Godzilla was running out of options. It seemed that for every trick he had, King Ghidorah had something that would counter it. King Ghidorah already had many advantages against Godzilla to begin with, such as his size, having three heads instead of one, and his abilities of both flight and controlling weather patterns. But Godzilla wasn't going to give up, even against these odds, and he shot another atomic beam straight at Ghidorah! Unfortunately, the beam was shot at one of the heads, and Ghidorah was able to move his necks quick enough to where the beam missed him, and the Astro-Monster fired his gravity beams at Godzilla! Godzilla, not being agile enough, took a direct hit from the beams, causing him to fall the ground, now in a wounded state. For good measure, Ghidorah shot another gravity beam, this one targeting a large building, causing it to land on Godzilla.
Back on the roof of Loch Loud, the Loud family watched in horror as their Guardian was getting annihilated right in front of them.
"Oh no", one of the sisters said.
"What are we going to do?", another sister added.
Knowing that Godzilla may barely survive, if at all, the Duke knew what do, evident by him running back into Loch Loud to obtain something important. Meanwhile, as King Ghidorah levitated himself towards Godzilla, the Maximals aided with the evacuation of Scotland, with the weather getting worse and Godzilla's fate now in question.
The wounded Godzilla was able to dig himself out from the rubble, but he was far from quick enough to react. King Ghidorah ended up sinking his talons into him and flew as high up to the sky as he possibly could. Ghidorah flew so high that the stormy clouds he created were seen on their brighter side in the sky. Then, in a final act of claiming the monster throne, King Ghidorah dropped Godzilla from the sky and fired his gravity beams at full power at him. Ghidorah never let up, and while Godzilla was getting gravity beams drilled into his flesh, the former King of the Monsters fell deep back into the ocean. Once Godzilla was submerged for a few minutes, King Ghidorah let up on his gravity beams, and after waiting for a few more seconds, Ghidorah believed he had finally won and that Godzilla was dead.
Back in Loch Loud, the other Louds, after finding Lincoln, were now in a hurry to evacuate their home.
"Son, I'm sorry, but I fear we must leave our home if we are to survive", the Duke's father said.
"Not yet…", the Duke replied, placing an item of great significance in his hands.
"Um…what is that…?", the oldest of the family asked.
"Wait, is that…?", the prankster gasped. "The atomic bomb…?"
"We all knew this day was coming eventually…", the Duke said, turning around to his family. "The atomic bomb is the only way we can revive our Guardian."
"Son…you know what could happen if you use that bomb…right…?", the mother asked.
"I do, mom", the Duke replied. "But this may be the only way we can save our people…"
Back outside, King Ghidorah placed himself atop the largest hill of Scotland, roaring victoriously and crowning himself the new King of the Monsters after defeating Godzilla.
"This cannot be…", Optimus Primal said as him and the other Maximals watched in disbelief.
Then, the Loud family came running towards the Maximals with the Duke holding the atomic bomb in his hands.
"Primal!", the Duke yelled at his ally. "I know what to do, but you might not like it."
When the Duke said this, Optimus Primal immediately noticed the atomic bomb in his hands.
"The atomic bomb…", Primal reacted in shock. "Your highness…are you sure you want to travel down this path?"
"You know as well as I do, this is the only way", the Duke replied.
"Please, you don't have to do this…", the eldest sister said in a sad tone.
"I know…but it's the only thing I can do", the Duke said. "I owe it as this town's leader to protect it at all costs, even with my own life…"
"Your sacrifice will not be forgotten…your rightful majesty…", Primal said as he briefly bowed to the Duke. "Now, come on! We need to get to the sub!", he said as both Maximals and Louds ran towards the ocean.
Once they reached one of the large submarines, and allowing all the Louds to enter, the Maximals followed suit. Since it would make space much easier, the Maximals transformed into their robot modes while in the sub, even though it was obvious they preferred to be in their beast modes. Gradually, the submarine descended into the water until it reached the land where Godzilla was dwelling. It was obvious the Louds have been here before. Godzilla dwelled in his own portion of the ocean where the sub was no longer able to venture since he lived in an area outside of the water, yet still at the bottom of the ocean. (Yes, Monsterverse lore is weird sometimes, I know). Once they reached this point, it was time for the Duke to make his move with the atomic bomb.
"Well, my friends and family, it is time", the Duke said with a sigh, yet still in a confident manner. Much to his surprise, his family gave no response at first. All they did was what looked to be sniffling and holding back tears. Then, all of a sudden, the entire family cried their eyes out as they hugged their only son and brother with all their might.
"It's not fair!", the little princess sister whined.
"You can't…leave us like this, bro…", cried the sporty sister, who was only a couple years older than the Duke.
"Aw, hey, don't be sad…", the Duke smiled. "And hey, there's a chance I'll survive…"
"But what if you don't…?", the goth sister asked him.
"Then, I know you will all still live happily ever after", the Duke answered. "And remember, I'm the Duke, I made a promise I would do this if necessary".
"But, you're our brother!", the princess yelled.
"And…our…son…", the father cried.
"Aw, come on, bring it in guys…", the Duke smiled as he let his family hug him until they were content, well…content enough.
Once the hug parted, the Duke said goodbye to his Maximal allies. "It was a pleasure to meet your acquaintance, and to not only have you four as my advisors, but some of my closest friends", he said to the Maximals.
"And it was our pleasure to serve alongside you, your highness", Optimus Primal bowed. "Scotland shall remember your name as the greatest Duke of Scotland, and the loudest of the Louds".
"May your journey to the next life be peaceful, your highness", Airazor said.
"It was a pleasure to get to know you, little brother", Cheetor said. "I still remember when you were first born and your parents yelled at me for scaring you on accident".
The Duke chuckled. "Yeah, good times".
The Duke walked over to Rhinox, who lifted out his large finger for Lincoln to hug.
"I'll miss you, too, Rhinox", the Duke said.
"I am sad to see someone as pure and noble as you go", Rhinox said in a sad tone. "But remember, your prodigy of a sister and I constructed that suit for you, there is a very real chance you will survive this".
"Well, I know that if anyone here can make that happen, it's you, and my sister", the Duke smiled.
After saying goodbye to everyone, the Duke got into one of the pods of the sub in the advanced suit. "Goodbye, everyone".
"Goodbye!", the rest of them said in a sad tone before the pod took off.
When the pod took off and found itself in Godzilla's home, it dropped Lincoln off, for his home was not in water like the rest of the ocean. Upon looking at Godzilla's home, the Duke was amazed, even though he had seen it several times already. Godzilla's home was huge, fit for a titan his size. It was comprised of a blood-red sky with a large stone mountain with a staircase for Lincoln to walk on. On top of the mountain lay a wounded Godzilla, who lied on his stomach and looked like he was dying from the wounds given to him by King Ghidorah.
Once the Duke reached the top, he came face to face with Godzilla. The Duke placed his hand on Godzilla's cheek, and in response, Godzilla let out a friendly growl, indicating he could sense this was the Duke coming to help him. The Duke then typed some numbers in the atomic bomb and set the timer for one minute, where it would detonate in that time. The Duke went back to Godzilla, placed his hand on him again, smiled, and leaned his head on the titan, knowing this may be his own final moments alive, and he would at least smile, getting to spend them with his old ally and friend, Godzilla. Godzilla knew what was happening, and he knew the Duke may not survive, and because of this, he even let a single tear form in his eye and fall down his cheek. Before either of them knew it, the atomic bomb went off, and everything went white. Upon seeing this, the Loud family was in complete tears, knowing their only son and brother might be dead, and the Maximals held more serious expressions, but you could tell they were sad, too, evident by Primal placing his hand on Cheetor's shoulder.
Back on the surface, King Ghidorah still relished in his victory, but while he did, he noticed a large explosion form from the ocean in front of him. Wanting to investigate, Ghidorah flew up and landed on all fours, nearing his heads towards the disturbance. But then, out of the ocean, came that same iconic energy blast from Godzilla, blasting Ghidorah right in his neck and sending him back! Then, when the dust settled, Godzilla revealed himself from the water and roared triumphantly, indicating that he was fully healed and ready to reclaim his title as King of the Monsters! King Ghidorah reclaimed his footing, and after the standoff between the two titans, Godzilla and King Ghidorah charged at each other with all their might in an epic clash of the titans!
Ghidorah began the rematch by using his left and right heads to bite into Godzilla's arms again, but this time, Godzilla was ready for him! Before Ghidorah could use his middle head or siphon any energy, Godzilla fired his atomic breath again at his opponent, causing Ghidorah to cease the assault. Ghidorah then spread out his heads to fire his gravity beam but Godzilla countered with his atomic breath again, resulting in an epic beam battle between the two. It seemed that King Ghidorah had the upper hand, but much to everyone's surprise, Godzilla's old enemy, Rodan, swooped into the fray and fired his fire breath at Ghidorah, resulting in the Astro-Monster loosing his gravity beam blast and getting hit by both Godzilla and Rodan's attacks! Rodan then landed on a building next to Godzilla and King Ghidorah healed his wounds and got back on his feet, followed by him roaring at his adversaries with all three heads! Godzilla and Rodan then roared back at the same time, indicating that even though the two titans had differences, they would put their differences aside to defeat their common foe.
Rodan then got up and flew and attacked Ghidorah from behind, and with him distracted, Godzilla rushed Ghidorah from the front, slamming him into a building just in time for Rodan to fly out to avoid the attack intended for Ghidorah. Having enough, King Ghidorah became enraged, and no longer held anything back by taking flight with his massive wings, following Rodan in the skies. Even though Godzilla wanted to help his temporary ally, he was incapable of flight, and after using it over and over, he needed a little bit of time to recharge his atomic breath. In the skies, Rodan and King Ghidorah played a game of cat and mouse, with Ghidorah as the cat and Rodan as the mouse. Rodan attempted to disorient Ghidorah, but was unsuccessful, and Ghidorah ended up wounding Rodan when Rodan got hit with one of his gravity beams. Not only that, but as Rodan descended from the sky, King Ghidorah sunk his talons into his back and used one of heads to tear a chunk of Rodan's flesh off one of his joints! However, as the flyers descended Godzilla's atomic breath had recharged, and he used it to fire at Ghidorah and down him to the ground as well!
When Rodan and King Ghidorah fell, the impact from the fall caused what felt like a brief earthquake when they hit the ground. Even more enraged, King Ghidorah launched himself at Godzilla, and fired his gravity beams, which were far too quick for Godzilla to react. With Godzilla disoriented after the hit, King Ghidorah did the same maneuver he did with him before, this time, making sure to really wrap his necks around him more tightly. The middle neck was wrapped around Godzilla's throat, and the other two were wrapped around his arms to limit his ability to fight back. Then, Ghidorah's heads sunk their teeth into Godzilla and began siphoning the energy from him yet again. This time, Godzilla was far too restrained to move and fight back, and after about five minutes, Godzilla had nearly all of his energy siphoned out of him. But then, having a short second wind, Rodan blasted King Ghidorah with his fire blast, causing Ghidorah to let go of Godzilla and lose his footing. With Godzilla nearly drained of all his energy, the titan fell to the ground with a massive thump as Ghidorah still roared in pain from the fire blast. Noticing his ally was downed, Rodan knew there was only one way to defeat King Ghidorah, especially with Rodan losing his own life, given his wounds. The Fire Demon climbed on top of the wounded Godzilla and wrapped his wings around him. Then, Rodan's skin began to pulsate a fiery red, until it began to fade more and more. This could only mean one thing, Rodan was sacrificing himself to give his fiery energy to Godzilla. Letting out a few dying roars, Rodan's life completely faded away as his own being dissipated from the mortal plane as the last of his energy was transferred to Godzilla.
By this point, King Ghidorah had regained his balance, and healed his wounds once again. However, even when it looked like he won for a second time, Godzilla's eyes opened, but they looked different this time around. This time, they were a fiery orange-yellow color, and as he stood up, his scales turned into flaming red, as a fiery aura began to form around him. The aura was so powerful that even King Ghidorah could not get close enough unless he wanted to get burned. Godzilla let out a few loud roars and the rightful King started asserting his dominance to his rival. Knowing that hand-to-hand attacks weren't an option, Ghidorah fired his gravity beams, but this time, the burning aura Godzilla had made rendered them ineffective. If one didn't know any better, he wouldn't even be able to feel Ghidorah's strongest attack. All Godzilla needed to do was step forward to Ghidorah as his aura became more and more powerful, resulting in King Ghidorah's skin getting melted off by the seconds. Ghidorah roared in agony as he suffered his burning demise, and in one final expulsion of his burning energy, Godzilla fired his final energy blast at Ghidorah, this one being red instead of his usual blue. When the blast made contact with Ghidorah, even Ghidorah's regenerative properties could not withstand the undying heat. The heat became so powerful that a large explosion occurred, which emulated from Godzilla, seeming to take both titans with them…
As the storm cleared and the dust settled, it turns out that one of Ghidorah's heads had made it, but thankfully, this head was in Godzilla's mouth, who arose from the rubble, having expelled the burning energy from his system and returning to his normal state. Holding Ghidorah's head in his mouth, Godzilla used his atomic breath to turn it into dust. And once King Ghidorah was no more, Godzilla let out one last victorious roar, proving and claiming that he is the true King of the Monsters and rightful protector of Scotland.
The next day, the people had returned to Scotland, and both them and the Maximals aided in rebuilding their town sometime after Godzilla returned to the sea. More notably, with King Ghidorah gone, all the bad weather had cleared and Scotland returned to the beautiful blue skies it was known for.
With the scourge of King Ghidorah extinct, and after Godzilla returned to the sea, the loyalty of the townspeople did not fade, as they aided us in rebuilding the town we swore to protect. And thankfully, thanks to the suit constructed by Rhinox, the Duke survived the results of the atomic bomb.
As Optimus Primal narrated this, it was revealed that the Louds were on their ship, sailing away from Scotland with the unconscious Duke laying in front of them, being tended to by his sisters, and missing one of his arms thanks to the bomb.
"Be careful with the pressure!", the child prodigy said, who was tending to the Duke.
"Well, you said to do it to stop the bleeding!", the sporty sister said.
"Do you think bro will survive?", the music enthusiast asked.
"Fear not, siblings", the prodigy spoke with her usual lisp. "With the suit that myself and Rhinox constructed, combined with my medical abilities, along with the majority of his wounds going to his missing arm, there is a 90% chance our brother will pull through. Thank you, God!", she couldn't help but break down and hug her unconscious brother.
"Dad, is it true that we're leaving Scotland forever?", the oldest sibling as their father after giving a concerned look to the Duke.
"I'm afraid so, honey", the father replied. "Our existence in Scotland has proven to put the people in danger far too many times, and not only them, but us as well, especially our boy…", he said as he tried not to cry. "I am sure your brother would agree…", he got closer to crying. "I'm just so glad he's okay!", he finally broke down as he hug his daughter.
"Me too, dad, me too", the oldest sister smiled as she hugged her father back as the boat continued sailing away from Scotland with the Loud mother steering it.
Yes, it was true. After the battle between Godzilla and King Ghidorah, the Louds believed that their presence in Scotland put both us and the innocent people there in danger, and so, they chose to leave. Even though their presence will be missed, and we beg for their return, we do not forget that we took an oath to protect the people of Scotland, including the Louds. And we will make sure to uphold our promise, to watch over and protect them…
As Primal narrated this last portion, it was revealed that Airazor was flying far above the Louds' boat so the family couldn't see them. With the Maximals taking an oath to protect the people of Scotland, Airazor would watch and protect the Louds in secret, so that their royal lineage may carry on and more importantly, so that the family that gave them so much would be safe for all generations to come.
Back in Scotland, Optimus Primal, Cheetor, and Rhinox all stood atop the abandoned Loch Loud and looked out at the humans rebuilding their village, all three of them being back in their beast modes.
"What do you think, big bot?", Cheetor asked Primal.
Primal sighed. "Even though I respect the Louds' decision for leaving, since their presence brings a danger to this land, I can't help but think that self-exile was too harsh of an option…"
"True…but…we can relate…", a sad Rhinox sighed, thinking of how they were forced to leave Maderan so long ago. "Still, it was sad to see them go…"
"We've made memories with them", Cheetor agreed. "They became like family to us".
"They were" Primal said. "I know both of you had a special bond with them, as did I, but the Louds made their choice, and we must respect it. And…I have faith that Airazor will protect them, so I take comfort that they will be safe, both now, and for generations to come".
"Do you think they'll ever come back?", Rhinox asked.
"I do not know, but we must have faith, old friend", Primal said to Rhinox. "For now, we must focus on helping the humans rebuild their village. But, I can't help but believe that in time, the Louds will return to us, and this beautiful town will be returned to its true glory once again…"
