After sleeping last night I wake up early to start cleaning up my new car, I get the soap brush and fill up the bucket with warm water and soap, and I pull the hatchback outside before starting to spray it down with the pressure washer, and it looks like it's shivering or something but I quickly shrug it off as nothing and continue to clean it up

I shiver slightly when he sprays me with the cold water
'Feeling cold sweetspark?' Arcee asks and I groan and she laughs
The boy- Lane continues to wash me as his phone goes off which causes him to pick it up
"You what's up Witwicky?" He asks which immediately causes my attention to be set on the conversation at the mention of the last name of the kid that I was supposed to be protecting
'What is it Sides?' Sunny asks
'I might have a lead on Witwicky.' I state

"You got a fiesta with racing stripes?" I ask amused and he grumbles
"Yea, and I can't even drive it yet, the windows are all busted out, so what's up with you?" He asks
"Well I just bought around an 88 red hatchback corvette." I tell him and he's silent for a second
"R-red Corvette?" He asks shakily and I raise my eyebrow
"Yea it's pretty sweet." I tell him
"Hey man, I think I'm gonna go, I have an idea on how to get with Mikayla." He says quickly
"Alright bro, talk to you later Sam." I tell him and I wonder what caused him to act like that, but I quickly shrug my shoulders and notice Carly text me.
Hey can I come over to your house later?
I blush a little before quickly regaining my composure
Sure, maybe we can go on the back roads in the hatchback corvette I just bought, cars clean

The blush comes back, Carly is one of the three people whose older than me that I talk to, the others being obviously Sam and Miles.
I calm down and get back to finishing cleaning my car

I noticed my now current charge face turn really weird
''Cee is it normal for a humans face to turn really red out of nowhere?' I ask
'It might be blushing, usually from either embarrassment or something to do with a love interest.' She tells me and this causes me to be a little reminiscent of meeting Arcee and smirk
'Good to know, thanks 'Cee.' And she sends a little love over the bond which I send back and I notice Lane starts to talk to himself
"Almost done, hopefully Carly likes it, it's a good lookin car, and I know she loves muscle cars, if Sam thinks he can get with Mikayla, I can get with Carly." He says finishing waxing my wheels and I gotta say he did pretty good for doing it with just regular soap and probably cheaper side wax.
I like this kid, he gives off a good energy, I feel like I need to protect him
'Don't get attached to him Sides, remember he doesn't know what you are actually and either way humans don't live that long.' I can't help but to get angry at him, I know he's not big on humans but still, anger starts to fill our bond and mine starts to flow a little into Arcees knowledge in knowing I'm mad and I assume Flamewar for Sunny.
'Sides what did Sunny say, usually your not this angry at him unless it serious
'Sorry Arcee, Sunny just said something that was true about humans not living that long, but like this human, he feels special, I don't know why, it's just like..' I trail off
'Like you wanna protect him, even though you don't really know him, just something feels special about him?' She asks and I'm shocked
'That's actually spot on, what do you think I should do?' I ask my spark mate
'I'm not sure yet, if he decides to drive you maybe tell me and see if I can figure out what I think.' She says and I smile
'Thanks 'Cee, you always know what to say sweetspark.'
Then a decent looking older ford pulls up had a girl comes out
"Hey Lane." She says and Lane blushes
"Hey Carly, how are you?" He asks nervously
"Good how are you?" She asks and Lane blushes more

"I'm good, wow, the hatchback looks really good, have you done anything to it yet?" She asks
"No I haven't, it should end up looking really good, I want to paint it a cherry red eventually, I think it would look really good." I tell her and she nods
"Well, why don't we take it for a test drive?" She asks and I give her a grin
"That sounds good to me." I tell her
We get into the old hatchback before pulling out of the driveway, the car is pretty smooth I must say.
"So what is your plan for it?" Carly asks and I start to think about it before answering her
"I'm not completely sure, I like everything about it already, it just needs a new paint job, but once that happens, I think it'll be smooth sailing, oh and I need to get a title for it." I explain and it looks like she starts to really think about what she wants to say
"I think you should keep it a cherry red once you do paint it, and I think you should be able to get a title for it if you apply for one." She tells me with a grin
"Yea, I think it'd look real good." I tell her and I think I feel the seats warm up a little and the car gets a little louder at that. I quickly shrug it off and look at Carly before noticing out my mirror a cop car and notice it says "to punish and enslave" on the side which I get a little nervous but I turn to Carly with a hopefully neutral face.
"Hey Carly does that cop car look weird to you?" I ask and she looks at it from her mirror
"What the hell, isn't it supposed to say 'to serve and protect' what does that mean?" She asks

I'm with my two current charges who I'm beginning to like as people.
'Hey Arcee, I'm really liking these two humans especially Lane.' I tell her and I can feel the smile through the bond.
'Good, now if only your brother could like humans as fast as you do.' She tells me and I laugh
I'm about to say something back before I hear the two kids
"Hey Carly does that cop car look weird to you?" Lane asks and I start to look at said cop car

I immediately look at where it's supposed to say 'to serve and protect' and instead it says 'to punish and enslave' well frag.
'Sideswipe to everyone, barricade is following me with the two kids.'
'Two kids?' Sunny asks
'Arcee is the closest to you, she should be able to meet you in five earth minutes.' Flamewar tells me and I mentally nod
'Five minutes should be enough time to lay down the basics.' I say and I feel a slight amusement from sunny and a loving roll of the optics from Arcee.
'Well hopefully they don't freak out to much.' She tells me and all I do is grin back at her.
