The bar was dimly lit with only three people still present. Kaeya and Albedo were discussing the newest sign from Alice.
"I still can't believe you got all those papers done."
"Is that jealousy I'm hearing from our Renowned Alchemist? Never fear, I'll be sure to extend a warm greeting to Tiagnari and Collei when we reach Sumeru."
"That would be much appreciated, and of course not, it's just you haven't taken on that much work since the last time you were in solitary confinement."
Diluc gave a huff, "From what Jean told me he practically scooped up half of the Knights of Favonius's paperwork and gave everyone working that night a scare when they lost a bunch of important documents. Did you even tell any of them where it all went or did you instead say you saw sprout wings just like Klee's bottle?"
The Cavalry Captain in question dramatically put a hand on his chest, "So nosy about my personal life. Eula had the right idea, she's probably having a lovely vacation away from her pesky family members."
Before this could turn into the usual argument that just seemed to wind up in the two of them talking in circles the tavern's door opened, an excited Klee bouncing up and down in her new witch outfit. "Look at Klee's new outfit! I'm a witch!"
Albedo chuckled as Klee hopped around, "Hold still, so I can get a good look at you."
Diluc practically tugged Kaeya back down to the barstool by his hair, "You too, Kaeya, I'll never finish at this rate."
Completely ignoring Diluc's attempts to finish braiding his hair Kaeya leaned over, "It's amazing Klee, you look just like Alice."
"I wonder who'll get the next skin?"
"It will probably be someone who participated in a beach event," answered Diluc, remembering the time when Fischl and the Traveler traveled to the Golden Apple Archipelago as well.
"Orrr someone with a sibling," added Kaeya a hand on his chin before glancing over at Albedo. Klee immediately let on giving a loud gasp.
"Klee will make Albedo the best skin ever!"
Poor Albedo who had been completely distracted by his paperwork that Kaeya for some reason didn't feel the need to complete finally glanced up. "Hm? Of course Klee."
"Yay!" Klee ran at the door yelling. "I know exactly where Jean keeps her makeup!"
"Klee, wait!" called out Albedo chasing after her.
In the end Albedo couldn't resist her puppy eyes and was resigned to letting Klee turn him into a pretty princess.
