Loren Tate is engaged to Cameron Philips, she's an interior designer for large corporations, Loren is hired to decorate each office with a fresh modern look which entails wall paper, painting, curtains, furniture and artwork.
She travels to her favorite warehouse in Paris where she purchases the best décor to keep her clientele happy.
Melissa is Loren's best friend and assistant, she makes sure each client has an appointment and given personal attention.
"You did an amazing job Loren; they will love the details you created for each office." Mel proudly says.
"Thanks Mel, I hope they love it as much as you." Loren sighs.
"Who owns this floor?" Mel wonders.
"The paperwork emailed to me is from MK enterprises. I can't wait for them to arrive." Loren looks at her watch.
"They should be here by now." Mel sighs.
There's a knock on the door. "Come in, it's open." Loren says.
A couple walks in. "Hello, you must be Loren Tate?"
Loren smiles. "Yes, it's nice to meet you."
"This is my husband Max Duran; we own this building." She says.
"You must be Katy?" Loren asks.
"Yes I am, it's a pleasure to meet you, we're very pleased with your work, you are very talented." Katie adds.
"Thank you so much." Loren blushes.
There's a slight knock on the door. "Hey mom, I love every single room, great colors to.."
Loren turns towards the voice. "Eddie Duran?"
Eddie's eyes widen. "Wow, is that really you?" He walks towards her and they hug.
"Are these your parents?" Loren wonders.
Eddie smiles. "Yes, they are."
Katy smiles. "Small world, I had no idea you and my son know each other."
"We attended the same High school, he was a year ahead of me." Loren adds.
"I assume you designed our offices?" Eddie asks.
"Of course she did, she came highly recommended." Max adds.
Mel walks into the room with a tray of appetizers and champagne. She looks at Eddie.
"Omg, I thought I recognized your voice." Mel places the tray down and hugs Eddie.
"Good ole Melissa Sanders." Eddie says with excitement. "Nice to run into you and Loren."
"I love it all." A female voice says.
Katy turns towards her niece. "This is Ella, my niece, she will be using one of the offices."
Ella smiles. "Nice to meet the grand Loren Tate."
"You are all very kind." Loren adds, her fiancé Cam walks into the room.
"Are we ready to go?" He looks at Loren.
She smiles. "I will in a second, I want you to meet Max and Katy Duran, their son, Eddie and the Duran's niece, Ella."
Cam smiles and extends his hand. "Nice to meet you all."
"This is my fiancé, Cameron Philips." Loren adds. He smiles placing his attention on the young lady standing next to Eddie. She smiles back and greets him while biting her lower lip.
"Hi Cameron, it's great to see you." Eddie says.
"You can't be this guy's cousin." Cam adds, (they chuckle) Loren is busy showing the Duran's the completion of the last office on their floor.
Mel notices how attentive Cam is towards Ella, after she walks away, Mel looks at him.
"Do you know her?" Mel wonders.
"Disappointed to say I don't, she's very beautiful." Cam can't take his eyes off the young lady.
Mel looks towards Ella who's busy talking to Eddie but glances towards Cam every chance she gets.
A day later.
"Is your dress ready?" Mel questions.
"Yes, it was shipped to Paris, I can't wait to get married in my favorite city, can't wait to marry Cam." Loren sighs.
Mel sighs. "I am excited for you Lo."
"I know Mel, in one week I will become Mrs. Cam Philips, I love the sound of that." Loren sighs.
"I'm very happy you took time off after the completion of the Duran's building, now you can finish preparing for your wedding in Paris." Mel adds.
Loren smiles. "I know Mel, I can't believe I'm getting married in Paris by the Eiffel Tower, and honeymoon there too, my dream came true."
"Let's get ready to go." Mel says, they need to pack.
"Is your mom meeting us there?" Mel wonders.
"Yes, she's already there, she wants to make sure everything is done for next weekend." Loren adds with excitement.
A few days later, Loren is in Paris, she is getting every last detail ready for her upcoming nuptials.
It's finally Saturday, Loren is ready for her big day, her hair and make-up are perfectly done, she is wearing the most beautiful wedding gown designed by a popular French designer.
Nora walks in. "Oh my God, Loren, you look very beautiful sweetheart."
"Thanks mom, I am so excited, this day is finally here." Loren sighs.
"Where is Cam?" Nora wonders.
"He flew in today, he was very busy in L.A, I haven't seen him all week." Loren says.
"Let's get ready, the Limo will be here any minute." Nora says while fixing Loren's bouquet.
Loren is getting ready to exit her Hotel room and Mel walks into the room with a worried look.
"Is the Limo here?" Loren asks.
Mel sighs and gives Loren an envelope. "This was delivered to the front desk, it's from Cam." Mel sighs heavily, she has a gut feeling something isn't right.
"From Cam?" She questions with a shy smile. "I wonder what he's up too."
Loren opens the envelope and takes out the folded piece of paper. Her eyes narrow at the words she is reading.
"What's wrong?" Nora asks.
"He's not coming." Loren's eyes tear.
Mel walks towards her best friend. "What happened?"
Loren can't mutter a word, or move, she's in shock, Mel takes the paper from her hand and reads it.
"He eloped with Ella!" Mel cringes at the words written on the paper in her hand.
"Whose Ella?" Nora questions loudly.
Mel sighs. "Eddie's cousin."
"Who's Eddie?" Nora wonders.
