The Guild of Gamers:
The Runemaster
Chapter One
In a dirty apartment, a rather overweight man sits in front of his computer with books open all around him and the jingle of a gacha game playing in the background. He grins tiredly as he pastes in a new line of runes in place of the old ones in the games files.
"Man it took ages to figure out the runic cypher the game designers used for this stupid gacha game," he mutters to himself. "But I finally got it... just a few more lines of code and I can finally make it so I don't get any junk drops!"
He resumes copypasting in lines of runes in place and takes a sip of coffee. He saves the file on his computer with a yawn as he boots the game up with the edited runic coding.
"Good it actually launched without crashing... now lets see how it handles me rolling the gacha."
He clicks the roll gacha option. The game freezes up and seems to crash as he sighs.
"Another failure huh? oh well back to the drawing board I guess."
The game suddenly unfreezes as he goes to close it. Now, the screen shows the words, "UNIQUE PULL!" as a blank card appears on his screen and he cheers at his success.
He clicks on the card causing it to flip over to show a pure white and blank card.
"Aw come on! I thought I got it to work!" he complains, only for his whole screen to turn white as he starts to be pulled into it screaming.
POV: ?
"What the hell happened to me?" I say as I look around the void I find myself in after getting pulled through my damn screen by that stupid gacha game.
Suddenly in the void in front of me a screen appears that looks to be made of stone with runic script carved around the edges.
[ Congratulations Cheater! You have been chosen to run a new version of The Gamer System! Due to cheating to obtain it and the knack for runes that you showed to do so your System and world have been chosen for you! Please pick your name; Your remaining stat choices; And create your Appearance.]
After jumping back and cursing in shock due to the sudden appearance of the screen. I take a moment to contemplate this sudden change in circumstances and freak out over the fact The Guild of Gamers is real. Once I finally calm down I poke the screen causing it to vanish and a new one to take its place.

I blink for a bit and start thinking about how best to prepare for what is ahead... I start by putting ten points in all attributes so I have a nice balance. That still leaves 30 points left overand I still don't know what world I will be sent to. I guess I can put ten extra in Strength and Dexterity and I can shove five into Constitution and Luck.
As for a name... I can't seem to remember my old one and 90% of the ones I can think of off the top of my head are super cringy or really brain dead. Maybe I should go with something based on runes? Sol, Wynn, Nauðr... AH Solwynn for the first name with Sol for short as for the last name I will just leave that blank. It should be fine.
The box pops up again with this info asking me to confirm.

After hitting yes the screen vanishes and then the pain starts as I FEEL runes being seared into my very soul... when relief comes it is all already fading to black.
