With a gasp, I woke up looking around myself to see a rather barren apartment. And for a moment I honestly have no clue where I am or why before it all comes rushing back to me: cracking the runic code on that stupid gacha game. Becoming a gamer after getting pulled through my screen. Then the game being seared into my soul...

Pain unlike anything I could have ever prepared myself ripped through me the second I finished reading. I nearly bit off my own tongue trying to keep from screaming as it felt like my brain was being ripped open and molten lead was being poured into it. I am unsure how long this continued for. It could have been seconds or days for all I know. Once it was done however I stayed on the floor for a bit as another box appeared in front of me.

I just take a moment to catch my breath and sit up before saying "Status" causing yet another screen to appear.

No wonder my head hurts with all this crammed in it at once. It seems I gained more than just the Skills but the memories of this body too. But why the hell are some of these skill levels so high? And Faunus? Whitefang? Aren't those from RWBY?

Ten minutes later, I was out the door and running through the woods to get to school. Thankfully, signal is not TOO far from home but due to where I live it means a run through the forest. Everything was fine right up until I ran face first into some kind of monster that looks like some kind of knock-off werewolf.

So I wish I could say I am some kind of badass that is gonna face this thing down with nothing but my fists but... I started running like a little girl. The second the thing let out a howl. I eventually spot a crevice that I can get into but the thing can't and I slip inside it with the damn thing slamming into the stone right behind me. I kept pushing deeper into the crevice until I couldn't get any further away but the damn thing isn't letting up.
At this rate I am gonna be late for class. Thankfully I spot a rock and it gives me an idea. I scoop it up and use the zipper off my jacket to start grinding the runes Sol and Kaun into THE ROCK TM. Since I saw I had MP earlier that probably means I have magic, and as any rune nut knows Magic plus Runes supposedly equals certain effects.
Now I have NO clue how to use my magic but I have hundreds of bullshit methods of channeling inner power from fiction running in my head so I guess I can just throw those at the wall and see what sticks! I ran through SIX different methods before my hand ( and the runes) start to glow... Now how do I stop it? Can I stop it? Those runes are getting brighter and my MP is almost out. Oh now it is starting to get burning hot. Shit! When in doubt throw shit!
I throw the stone at the creature and turn away in the nick of time it seems as the flash of light and heat is so bright it is almost blinding even facing away with my eyes closed. When I turn back after blinking the spots from my vision it is to see that the ground outside my crevice is scorched and smoldering and there is no more monster.
Well... I should probably get to school and contemplate this later. Yeah, let's go with that.
Timeskip: Five minutes later...
POV: Solwynn
So I made it to school. Barely. But I made it. Now to get to class before I have to suffer the wrath of someone named Mrs. Lynch. *Shiver* Just the name gives me bad vibes.
"Well, look who decided to come to school," says one of the few people at school who seem to not hate me, or at least not my body that is.
I almost cringe back as Yang stalks up to me with a semi-worried frown.
"Where were you Sol?" She asks, seeming like she really was worried this time. "You missed the first half of school already."
"Sorry, Yang," I mumble still as socially awkward here as I was in my last life it seems. "I woke up late and then got attacked on the way here. You know the forest is the fastest route here."
Yang practically shrieks at me as she picks me up and looks me all over.
"You got attacked?! Are you okay?! You didn't get hurt or anything did you?!"
You know from an outside persepective it is REALLY weird to be so easily picked up by a girl the same size as me... Oh she is talking to me again.
"Oh thank goodness, no injuries," she says as she punches me in the shoulder lightly. "Don't scare me like that Sol."
I grab my shoulder at what she considers a "Light" punch.
"Yang, I am alright," I explained. "I managed to run away from it. You know how fast I am. How about we head to lunch before you break my arm with one of your super strength punches?"
I smirked as Yang let out a sigh.
"Fine, but you're telling me the story later along with Ruby too. And you better not try to run away or I'll have to chase you down and show you who top dog is."
She grinned as I groaned, slapping my forehead.
"That was a terrible pun, Yang. I know I am a wolf faunus but seriously?!"
"Aww come on Sol I am just Yangin' ya chain!" She says as I seriously contemplate finding better friends.
Too bad I probably couldn't escape their friendship at this point... and even if I did, Ruby's pout would make me feel bad about it.

I plan for this character to follow some ideas that "The Dark Wolf Shiro" used previously. This character will (like all gamers) eventually become overpowered.
