[Kakashi's POV]
Had I'd known what would happen when I showed Naruto the scroll I would've done things differently.

"Take me to him Senseì." Naruto spoke.
I could hear the hurt in his voice. He longed for his friend to come back and when he does he can't even see him? A sharp pain vibrated through my chest. I couldn't take it. I couldn't take knowing the at my student was troubled.
"You know that I can't do that, Naruto."
"But… We can go to Grandma Tsunada and request permission… or we can just sneak in an-"
"Absolutely not Naruto.!!!" I said, cutting him off mid sentence. He just looked at me. His face went soft and I could see tears starting to form in the creases of his eyes. I hated doing this to him. He knew that no matter how hard I wanted to, I couldn't obey my orders from the Hokage. I sighed. It was soft and low but it was a sigh.
Just then, Naruto stood up from his bed, walked to his door, then looked back at me. "Until I see Sasuke again. I'm not coming back here." He paused, "Your the only person that I can trust to ensure that I can. You'll know where to find me when the time comes." And just like that, Naruto was gone. And only I knew where he would head off to.

[Sasuke's POV]
It was dark. I opened my eyes to nothing but darkness. Even so, it was warm. Warmer than I thought that it would be. But even that didn't faze me. I was used to the cold darkness known as my home. Not only that, I was used to be alone. As I was alone in this unknown place.
Just when I got used to my surroundings, a flickering light started to appear behind large, thick, cold bars that were in front of me. That's when the Hokage, Tsunada, appeared in front of me.
"So I see that you've decided to make your way back here. But why now?" She asked, crossing her arms in front of her.
I scoffed, "I'm not telling you anything." And the truth was, the only person that I really wanted to talk to was Naruto. Wait… Naruto, where even is he? Did he leave the village? Is he still looking for me?
"If you don't talk to me first, you'll never talk to anyone else again."
I looked back over at her. What would she know? How could I talk to someone that doesn't want me around no matter what I said.
"I wanna see Naruto. Then I'll talk."
