Characters and abilities of conduits
Blitzo: Gravity Manipulation
information: Users can manipulate gravity, a natural phenomenon in which all things with mass or energy — including planets, stars, galaxies, and light — attract (or gravitate toward) one another.
Gravity manipulation would allow one to increase or decrease gravity, be it the environment's gravity or individual objects. Increasing gravity would cause everything in an area to become heavier, causing loose objects to propel to the ground and cause people to be immobilized or crushed depending on the amount of gravitation force applied. When doing the exact opposite (decreasing gravity), the user could achieve a similar effect to Zero Gravity since all objects would float upwards or allow the user to lift heavier objects with astonishing ease due to the decreased weight. With enough control and skill, one could attract or repel objects regardless of direction, achieving an effect akin to Telekinesis, ignoring or defying the laws of gravity altogether, allowing one to walk on walls or ceilings or manipulate orbital fields on anything.
Moxxie: Electrokinesis
information: Electrokinesis gave the user powers through the neuro-electric energy of others. With this ability, one can channel electricity in and out of their body, which can be made use of, both as a weapon and as a way of recovering from injuries. The by-product ability of Electrokinesis is Electromagnetism, as Cole often made use of that ability as well.
Loona: Fire Manipulation
information: Users can freely generate, shape, and manipulate fire, the rapid oxidation of a material in the exothermic chemical process of combustion, releasing heat, light, and various reaction products, flame being the visible portion of the fire. Depending on the substance's alight, and any impurities outside, the color of the flame and the fire's intensity will be different. The user can also completely control the temperature of the fire at will.
Millie: Size Manipulation
information: The user can manipulate the size of anything and everything, from tiny to absolutely gigantic while retaining their physical proportions, some may be able to alter targets density. Usually, strength and durability are proportional to the size assumed, but the target may gain increased abilities when growing or keep their normal ones when shrinking.
Stolas: Precognition
information: Users can foresee possible futures and observe what may happen. As knowledge of the future invariably causes that future to change, visions of the future are subject to frequent shifting. While not being able to select futures or travel through time, these visions may assist in possible courses of action.
Octavia: Energy Manipulation
information: The user can create, shape, and manipulate energy, the capacity or ability to cause change or do work, one of the most basic quantitative properties of a system, such as an object or a field of energy. Energy can be transformed (converted) into several forms that may each manifest and be measurable in differing ways.
The law of conservation of energy states that the (total) energy of a system can increase or decrease only by transferring it in or out of the system, thus the total energy of a system can be calculated by simple addition when it is composed of multiple non-interacting parts or has multiple distinct forms of energy.
Mrs. Mayberry: Glass Manipulation
information: User can create, shape and manipulate glass, an amorphous (non-crystalline) solid material that exhibits a glass transition, which is the reversible transition in amorphous materials (or in amorphous regions within semicrystalline materials) from a hard and relatively brittle state into a molten or rubber-like state.
Striker: Concrete
information: Concrete refers to the ability of absorbing, manipulating, and redirecting concrete.
Sallie May: Cryokinesis
information: Cryokinesis includes abilities such as Shatter Blast, Ice Grenade, Freeze Rocket, Ice Launch, Frost Shield, and Ionic Freeze.
Fizzarolli: Illusion Manipulation
information: Users can manipulate illusions/hallucinations, causing targets to see, hear, touch, smell, or taste things differently from what they truly are. At its base, users can distort the shape and size of an object or area. More complex applications include causing targets to misinterpret the distance or number of an object, causing objects or entire landscapes to appear or disappear, distorting the sensory experiences of targets, etc. With its near-limitless potential, the user can achieve a plethora of effects, like being extremely stealthy, discombobulating and confusing targets, hiding and masking objects or places, causing targets to unknowingly hurt each other, and so on.
Though most illusions only affect sight, more powerful users can manipulate illusions that affect any and every other sense, thus making it no different from reality to the target.
Verosika Mayday: Pressurized Water Manipulation
information: Thecanble to manipulate and create pressurized water, a type of water that was pressurized enough to cut some material and even wound people. This type of water is subject in many nuclear reactors around the world, as it is used as a light-water nuclear reactor, and is considered clean energy as a result.
Vortex: Blood Manipulation
information: Users can create, shape, and manipulate blood, an essential body fluid in humans and other animals that delivers necessary substances such as nutrients and oxygen to the cells and transports metabolic waste products away from those same cells. The majority of users are only able to exert control over their blood of themselves, using them for various purposes, such as for rituals, examining, or most commonly combat. They can shape their blood into tendrils to strike enemies from afar or use it to trap opponents in a prison of blood. Users can concentrate blood into a single point, and shoot it out akin to bullets, or sharpen their blood to the point that they can slice and tear flesh with ease or solidify blood to use as rock-hard ammunition.
Some users would be able to indirectly control the movement of objects by leaving traces of blood on them and manipulating that blood to move the said object. When manipulating blood, users are at risk of anemia and dying of blood loss for users that use their blood. Being in a wet environment can also prove troublesome, as exposure to water will cause the membrane of red blood cells to tear, making 45% of blood uncontrollable.
Josh: Shapeshifting
information: Users can change their shape, size, color, density, texture, cellular composition, and/or atomic composition to mimic qualities, impersonate entities, amplify abilities, and/or traverse environments. The origins of this power play a significant role in their capabilities and limitations; altering oneself on a cellular, atomic, and/or conceptual level will permit varying degrees of alteration; while methods that defy the laws of reality, such as magic, will most likely keep to their own set of conventions.
Users with greater degrees of control are more than likely capable of using their bodies by unpredictably functioning as a perpetually reconstructing all-purpose appliance and/or employing near-indomitable deception in their strategies. Assuming the identity of distinguished or unsuspecting subjects allows for easier access to prohibited areas, superior persuasion, and potent espionage, depending upon the user's power and skill to imitate likenesses.
Coco: Sound Manipulation
information: Users can create, shape and manipulate sound, a periodic disturbance of a medium (air, ground, water, etc) that radiates outward linearly in the form of a pressure wave. The effect of these waves upon the ear is perceived as sound. From the point of view of physics, the sound is considered to be the waves of vibratory motion themselves, whether or not they are heard by the human ear.
Users can mimic, intensify, hush, and distort, as well as warp, strengthen, echo, speed up, and slow down sound, using it as a powerful physical force and high-speed movement. At low frequencies, sound can be potentially fatal to living beings by causing internal damage, while high frequencies cannot be heard by normal humans but can be used for sonar-like effects. Since sound vibrations can travel through the air, ground, water, and any form of medium, defense by using physical barriers is difficult. The vibrations can also affect the molecular level. In essence, sound is an invisible, deadly weapon and a versatile tool. A common use of this ability is Sonic Scream.
Apple: Air Manipulation
information: Users can create, shape and manipulate air, the common name given to the layer of atmospheric gases and various compounds (mostly oxygen and nitrogen) surrounding the planet Earth that is retained by Earth's gravity, and possibly wind, movement of air relative to the surface of the planet. It is an important factor in determining and controlling climate and weather, and the generating force of most ocean and freshwater waves. Wind occurs because of horizontal and vertical differences in atmospheric pressure, and includes breezes, squalls, gusts, whirlwinds, zephyrs, gales, tempests, and hurricanes.
Since air cannot be seen by conventional methods, neither can the attacks and derivatives formed by/from it, making it an invisible and versatile weapon that is very difficult to block and dodge. Since air is the originator for most natural disasters and all forms of weather, the user has control over nature's most dangerous element allowing them to perform a wide variety of feats.
Kat: Paper Manipulation
information: The user can create, shape and manipulate paper, a thin sheet material produced by mechanically and chemically processing cellulose fibers in water, that is derived from vegetable sources, such as wood and grass, and/or manipulating paper-like substances, such as papyrus and parchment that are close to standard paper.
Among the more impressive abilities paper could provide, is the ability to fly. With enough of the material, paper can be strengthened to lift the user or even an object due to its natural lightness. Paper can also grant a form of liquid absorption, as it is still an altered form of a plant and thus can hold, store, and clean away fluids albeit to a degree. Though paper is normally bland in colors, its beauty comes in more shapely differences (for example Origami) so what it lacks in flash and pizazz, it makes up in physical phenomena.
Milky: Metal Manipulation
information: The user can create, shape and manipulate metal, a solid material (an element, compound, or alloy) that is typically hard, shiny, and features good electrical and thermal conductivity. Metals are generally malleable—they can be hammered or pressed permanently out of shape without breaking or cracking—as well as fusible (able to be fused or melted) and ductile (able to be drawn out into a thin wire).
Kiki: Mirror Manipulation
information: The user can create, shape and manipulate mirrors, objects that reflect light in a way that preserves much of its original quality after their contact with the mirror. Most mirrors are designed for visible light; however, mirrors designed for other types of waves or other wavelengths of electromagnetic radiation are also used, especially in non-optical instruments.
Some mirrors also filter out some wavelengths, while preserving other wavelengths in the reflection, unlike other light-reflecting objects that do not preserve much of the original wave signal other than color and diffuse reflected light. The most familiar type of mirror is the plane mirror, which has a flat surface. Curved mirrors are also used, to produce magnified or diminished images or focus light or simply distort the reflected image.
Though mirrors are often made from glass, they can also be made of other reflective substances such as crystal, salt, ice, or polished metals.
Ace: Steel Manipulation
information: The user can create, shape and manipulate steel, an alloy of iron, carbon, and other elements, that is widely used in construction and other applications because of its hardness and tensile strength.
