Suddenly, Narinder felt a sensation flowing through their body. "So this is what power felt like!" He knew that the Lamb would know if he grew big again. So he immediately took it off and hid it. That damned lamb shouldn't know. "Maybe I should do it during the night," Narinder thought. He then realized he needed to get in the exact same spot that he was at when the time-stop began. 10 seconds left. He ran to that spot. 5 seconds left. 2 seconds left. 1 second left. He made it back to that spot and began walking. Everything seemed to begin again. Success!
Narinder did his duties, and the Lamb didn't even bat an eye... yet, at least. That night, that being appeared again. "Good, Narinder. But, why didn't you keep the crown on?" "That damned Lamb would notice if I became that big, eldritch being again." "Makes sense. Now, let me tell you something. I'm like you, in that I am trapped in this realm. I can be freed with the power of all of the crowns. But, I will give you time to get used to those powers. Run away, Narinder, so that the lamb doesn't know that you are powerful again." "! I can't just, run. That Lamb is smarter than you think. But, what about MY crown?" "You make a good point. We need to steal it from that Lamb. Tonight." "Steal from the lamb? He would know immediately." "That is why you will run away. Now quick, wake up and take your crown back."
Narinder woke up with a smirk. He ran quietly to the Lamb's home. Yes, any of the crowns eliminate the need for sleep, but sometimes the lamb sleeps because he needs some time alone, or just wants to dream. Tonight is one of those nights. Time stopped again. He didn't ask for it, but it helped. He ran faster and entered the Lamb's house. That was strictly forbidden in the cult, normally. He carefully took the crown, making sure not to re-arrange anything. He ran back home. He grabbed the other crowns and ran away from the cult. He was semi-doubtful but longed for freedom for a long, long time. Here he was. Free, at last.e was. Free, at last.
