"What has the Overlord done?" the Lamb said as he looked at his now-devastated cult. "I don't know," Narinder replied. "But there might be a village nearby. Let's see." They walked for a bit. They then found a village. Or, what used to be a village. The Lamb found skeletons in the houses. "Narinder? I think the Overlord already took over this place," the Lamb said. "Lamb, I think there's a trapdoor here." Narinder noticed a tiny imperfection on the floor. "Should we check it out?" Narinder asked. "I will check it out first," the Lamb replied.
He opened the trapdoor and climbed down. There was an underground village. People saw the lamb and began hiding, thinking the Overlord found them. "Wait! I know him! It's okay, you can come out, it's only just the La- wait a minute... the Lamb?!" It was Amdusias! "I thought you were teleported to the underworld!" "I wasn't. I was teleported to a place called Earth. Or, that's what they called it..." the Lamb said. "Who's 'they'?" Amdusias asked. "Humans. That's who 'they' are," the Lamb replied. "I need to tell Narinder it's good to come down." The Lamb told Narinder that it's safe to enter. He climbed down. "What happened here?" Narinder asked. "Sit down, Narinder, this will take a while," Amdusias said.
Amdusias explained what happened. When he got to when the Overlord began sending people who didn't follow them to the underworld, he called the Lamb in. He explained what happened AFTER the Lamb got teleported. "Some of us escaped, however. We went to different villages, and asking them to build an underground village. We eventually moved down here. We took the skeletons we found and put them on the surface so the Overlord thinks he killed everyone, when in fact, he didn't." "We're glad there are some people who are not ruled by the Overlord."
There was hope.
