Chapter One

Zone Six was a hellhole.

Devoid of color, drones patrolled the smog-choked skies of Zone Six. The people shuffled miserably about their daily lives, barely finding strength to go on.

The year is 2024, this was the age of Christian Weston Chandler, known to the public as "Solidus Chris". He came to power at the age of fifteen in 1997, and his rule was marked with repression and authoritarianism.

However, the people did not go silently into the night. Terrorists cells sprang up all across the country to take down the manchild, and said terrorist cells were crushed.

"HATSUNE MIKU!" screamed Daniel Larson, standing on top of a massive flying ray-like robot. "YOUR FOOLISH QUEST ENDS HERE!" he declared. Hatsune Miku was standing on another flying robot, keeping up with Daniel.

"LARSON!" screamed Miku, with her artificial voice box. "YOU MONSTER!"

"YOU WERE BUILT TO SERVE THE SAME PURPOSE AS I," said Daniel. "Yet you choose to associate yourself with terrorists and scum!"

Several giant robots launched at Miku from the alleyways and onto the flying robot. She didn't flinch, she grabbed her Soundblade and ripped them apart in the air.

"I am much more than what Solidus created me for!" declared Miku. "I'm free, and I would rather die than to serve the Chandler Administration!"

"You would rather die? Well then, consider this your lucky day!" grinned Larson devilishly from behind his abnormally large nose. "ALL UNITS! ELIMINATE HER!" he roared, flexing his average muscles.

Dozens of giant robots jumped on the backs of the massive flying robot, weighing it down and slowing it down.

"This is what happens to terrorists, terrorism doesn't pay!" shouted Larson, his robot fled off.

Miku grinned, standing in a fighting stance.

"I'd gladly be a terrorist, if it means I get to kill monsters like you!" she said. "To be called a terrorist... I take it as a compliment!"

She lunged at the first robot, tearing it apart with her Soundblade.

The robots were relentless. They tried beating her down, she blocked every one of their hits.

She tore the robots apart, knocking some off of the giant robots where they fell to their deaths.

The last robot, a gorilla-like behemoth, grabbed her. It threw her to the ground and hit her with a barrage of punches.

"..ugh" groaned Miku. She reached out her hand, it turned into a massive mechanical arm with a loudspeaker in its palm.

"...Curse." she commanded. the loudspeaker let out a deafening sound, blasting the robot to the sky and reducing it to shards of scrap.

Miku stood up, beat up but still standing.

"...Heh," she said, good again. She turned to an interface on her sleeve: a high-tech hacking device. She touched the back of the giant robot and closed her eyes. It was as if she and the robot were one.

"I'm gonna get you, Daniel Larson!" she declared. She accelerated the robot, catching up to Daniel.

Daniel saw Miku on the flying robot catching up, roughed up but fine.

"HATSUNE MIKU?! HOW THE HELL ARE YOU ALIVE?!" screamed Daniel.

"Nanomachines, you little shit!" screamed Miku. "Nanomachines that your stupid Nazi friend Rainer Winkler invented. Doesn't it suck to have your own tech used against you?" she laughed.

"I suppose it does," he said. "But I'll kill you!"

Miku gained altitude and jumped on Daniel's flying robot. She took out her sword and pointed it at Daniel's oversized nose.

"Oh really?" said Miku.

"Yes, really," said Daniel, holding out his arms as if they were wings. A holographic six-winged angel shrouded in arcs of electricity appeared behind Daniel. "You made a mistake coming here, I'll kill you, with my Stand, 「Roaring Thunder」!"

「Roaring Thunder」raised its hands and swung, with each swing, Miku felt painful convulsions rip through her entire body.

"Does it hurt?" asked Daniel. "You have no chance, surrender and I will show you mercy! Kneel before me you terrorist!" he demanded.

"I will.. never kneel..." defied Miku. She ran straight towards Daniel and tried to punch him, but the second before she got a chance to break his massive nose, she felt a painful shock tear through her.

"Stupid bitch!" shouted Daniel. Daniel slapped Miku across the face and kicked her in the gut. "I'll execute you!"

「Roaring Thunder」picked up Daniel in its arms and launched electric arcs at Miku who was still on the flying robot. Each arc caused the robot to fail and lose altitude.

"Enjoy dying!" shouted Larson, laughing as the robot careened towards the ground on a crash course.

A pair of light blue anodized metallic hands covered Miku, as if to protect her. The robot fell to the ground, crashing. Red hot shrapnel flew, leaving marks on the gray concrete buildings and killing dozens of civilians.

"HAHAHAHA!" laughed Daniel. "Another terrorist killed!" he said, staring at the crater. "Wait, what's this?" he said, looking at a little ball in the center of the impact. It looked like two metal hands clasped into a ball.

The ball unraveled, Miku twitched for a few seconds and stood up.

"It's my stand, 「The Curse」!" gasped Miku.

She held out her hand at Daniel, blasting him with a sonic attack. He groaned under the pressure, holding his ears and screaming in pain.

Daniel prepared his stand, 「Roaring Thunder」, and readied another electromagnetic torture attack. Before he could launch it, Miku slapped both his stand and Daniel at once with「The Curse」's massive hands.

"...Ugh!" screamed Daniel Larson, being thrown against the wall.

Hatsune Miku paced towards an injured Daniel Larson, raising her Soundblade.

"Prepare you die, you sick and twisted piece of shit!" threatened Miku. As she was bringing down her blade, a gorilla-like robot grabbed her and slammed her to the ground.

"Let go you fucking asshole!" she said, twisting the robot's arm and slamming it on the ground. She tore it into little pieces and ran towards Daniel Larson. However, more robots grabbed her and prevented from getting close.

Daniel deployed a balloon from his backpack, attached to his back via a string.

"...NO!" screamed Miku, desperately trying to get to Daniel before he could extract. The balloon rose further into the air. Several more robots piled onto Miku.

"I'll be back!" declared Daniel. "And you will die!"

A flying robot grabbed the line and Daniel was pulled into the air. He screamed as he was being yanked out by the skyhook recovery system.

"GOD DAMN IT!" shouted Miku. She struggled against the robots which were piling on her, beating them off with her stand.
