"I'm sorry please I won't peek again!" Issei cried out as a bamboo blade stuck him after the kendo club caught him and his friends. It wasn't his fault he was a healthy teen with an appreciation of the female body.
"You say that every time Hyoudou!" One of the Kendo members said before swinging again. Issei swore he would boast about how great his date went the next time he saw Matsuda and Motohama and rub it in their faces whenever he could.
"I think that's more than enough punishment girls, so unless you want club privileges taken away I'd just walk away." The calm authoritative voice of Souna Shitori cut through the sounds of Issei's screams.
"Looks like you're getting what you deserve." Another Club member said as they left Issei to deal with the Student Council President. Cursing under his breath Issei was able to sit up and see the Student Council President more clearly.
"Yeah, yeah I know I got detention again." He waved his hand dismissively.
"You could at least pretend to look ashamed." Souna chided.
"Yeah well this is the second time in a week those two idiots ditched me to avoid a beating I'm sorry, but I'm just so annoyed right now," Issei growled as he stood. Souna sighed knowing there was nothing she could really do to help at the moment; and lead him to the detention hall. Detention like always was a bore with one of the Student Council hovering over Issei and the other students. Today happened to just be Souna's turn and that made it impossible to get away with anything forcing Issei to do his weekend work early. As the bell Issei decided to wait out the small group of students leaving, he was still sore from his earlier beating.
"Hyoudou. I have no idea why you keep doing what you do…" Souna started.
"I'm just a healthy male who appreciates the female figure president." Issei interrupted.
"I see, back to what I was saying. One of these days you could end up doing something that could lead you into a disastrous situation and you won't have someone to get you out of it." Souna continued.
"Don't worry Prez I'll be more careful from now on. If that's all I have to go home and plan a date for Sunday." Issei stood up and started walking away. Things would start looking up for him he was sure.
"Date?" Souna wondered what he meant while he exited the gates of the school. 'Who'd be willing to date Hyoudou? I thought Rias was planning on confronting him soon with an offer for her Peerage. Maybe I should move Saji's meeting and make sure nothing unsafe is happening in Kuoh.'

"Will you die for me?" Those words still haunt him, even 20 years later. Issei, or Ike, as he was called in this life, stared at the ship that would lead him on his next great journey, reminiscing about the past. Being stabbed by his girlfriend before losing consciousness while thinking about Sona and her warning about one day doing something that could be disastrous before suddenly waking up as a baby. His second life was interesting; he was born in Gallia to the former Divine Cavalry Commander of Daein, Greil, and his wife Elena. From what he could remember back then, he idolized his father and his stories of his time as a soldier. How excited he was to have a sister who was named Mist. Their lives were uprooted by an accident that took his mother; he had forgotten about it until Sephiran explained his master plan back in the tower. During their travels, Issei quickly fell back into his passions, but it didn't go unnoticed by Greil, and after a one-sided sparring match in which Issei got thoroughly defeated, Greil made it clear what he thought about such behavior. He didn't shame Issei, as he claimed to know what it was like to be a boy his age; instead, he used Issei's love and protectiveness of Mist as an example and made many hypothetical situations that made Issei's blood boil to prove a point. To say Issei completely gave up his obsession would be a lie, but he was in control of his urges and refused to ogle women like he used to.
It was a good life until the Mad King started his war and Greil was killed by his former student. Quickly causing Issei and Mist's lives to spiral into constant fights and politics. Saving a princess, defeating a mad king, and getting vengeance—it was supposed to be simple. "Will you die for me?" Those damn words haunted him and made it impossible to give Elincia the love she deserved. Peace didn't last long; only three years later, the land was thrown into another war, one that would bring about an apocalyptic event. He ran his hand through his hair and sighed. It was all over now, and this was his next step in this new life. He turned to see his friends, the Greil Mercenaries and the Dawn Brigade.
"Well, this is where we part ways. These past few months may have been hectic, but now that all the chaos that was caused when Ashera awoke has been fixed, I feel like we should go our separate ways and follow our passions." Issei cracked a small smile.
"Are you sure about this, Ike?" Micaiah asked.
"Micaiah, you and Sothe are the future of Daein. I wish you the best of luck," Issei responded in kind.
"You always have a place in Crimea, Ike." Elincia shifted in place with Lucia and Geoffrey by her side.
"I'll always have fond memories of my time in Crimea, but it never felt like home to me. I'm sorry, Elincia. Geoffrey and Lucia, good luck in Crimea. I hope all your goals can be achieved." Issei comforted Elincia. Finally, he made his way to Mist and the Greil Mercenaries.
"There's still time for you to come with me, Mist." Issei offered.
"Thank you, Ike, but someone will have to watch over our family with you gone." His sister smiled with a hint of sadness.
"I understand and thank you for taking up the role; I'll probably be gone a long time." Issei scratched the back of his head. "Soren." He turned towards the only guy he truly trusted in the group. "Please watch over Mist for me. There's no one else I could trust with this."
"If that is what you wish, Ike, I will do as you ask." Soren bowed slightly. Issei wasn't a fool when it came to Soren; his brother in all but blood had feelings for him. He had confronted him about them before the final battle, and while he couldn't return the feelings, he would never look at him as anything less than a brother, and should anyone judge Soren, they would have to go through Issei.
"HAHAHA! I wish you luck on your new journey, Ike. I hope you find what you're looking for along with new battles to keep you busy." Skrimir patted Issei on the back, causing him to take a step forward so as not to fall.
"Heh, thanks." Issei reorients himself before looking towards the boat. "I hope you become a great king someday, Skrimir, and I know Ranulf will guide you well."
"That he will. Hahaha!" Skrimir's overly joyous laugh echoed through the port before his face got more serious. "Many of the others wanted to come as well but weren't able to due to peace talks with the human kingdoms as well as rebuilding after the war."
"I understand. Give them my best regards next time you see them. We couldn't have pulled this off without them." Issei gave his friends one last look and hugged his sister before making his way toward the boat. After all the war and death, he just wanted to explore this world and find a place where he belonged. The boat took sail not long after boarding, and as he waved goodbye, he thought back to his old life after so many years. He wondered how his parents were handling his death and how his two perverted friends took it, but the biggest question was why he was killed. It wasn't like he could find out, so he made his way to his bunk to take a nap. As he slept, he heard the sound of flapping wings before he fell into a deeper sleep.

"Please get up. If you don't, I'll ki-kiss you. Please get up. If you don't, I'll ki-kiss you." Issei groaned in embarrassment. Why was he dreaming of that annoying alarm clock he had? "Please get up. If you don't, I'll ki-kiss you. Please get up. If you don't, I'll ki-" He decided to try and wake up just to get away from that dumb dream, but as he opened his eyes, he was greeted by the sight of his old room instead of the boat's bunks. "Please get up. If you don't, I'll
"Ok, how the hell do you turn this off again? *sigh*, Of course, it's on the ass." Issei had enough of that damn alarm and toyed with the statue clock before finally finding the button. "I don't feel weaker, but I seem to be in my old body. What the hell? Is this some weird thing? What was it called again? Isekai! Is this some weird Isekai shit?"
"Issei! Are you up yet?" He heard his mother call. He had to make a split decision. He couldn't tell anyone what happened; they'd all think he was crazy.
"Uh yeah! I'm just getting dressed; I'll be down in a second!" He responded.
"Remember to make sure your sister Kasumi is up; her doctor says she can finally start school! KNOCK FIRST! You hear me?" What sister?! He never had a sister. What the hell was going on?
"Yeah, yeah, I'll knock first." Like hell, he'd peek at his sister; he wasn't that bad, was he? Issei finished changing, and after replacing that statue clock with a normal one, he left his room. Everything looked the same, but instead of the guest room, he saw the door had a pink nameplate that read Kasumi. Knocking on the door, he heard shuffling.
"Y-Yes?" Odd they sounded familiar but also scared.
"Um? Are you dressed Kasumi?" Issei asked.
"Uh, y-yes I am." Kasumi sounded like she didn't know what was happening.
"May I come in? Mom says it's your first day at school today." Issei explained.
"Um," Kasumi paused. "A-alright." Issei opened the door and at a glance, the room reminded him of Mist's old room. His jaw all but dropped when he saw Kasumi though or should he say.
"Mist is that you?"
