CH 2

Kaiba and Mokuba pulled back up to the gate around two the next day. The camera lit up again showing the pretty girls face. "Well hello blue eyes, hey kid. Come on in." She smiled as the gate started rolling back. He parked in the same place he did the night before and they walked toward the house. Mokuba had a large smile on his face as they got to the door. Maggie opened it before they could knock. "Well hello boys, come join the festivities."

"Seto brought you something." Mokuba said, smiling at her.

She looked at the older brother puzzled as he held out a box to her. "It's a new motherboard to replace the one the mutt ruined." The young woman's face lit up.

"Seriously?' She opened the box to see the shiny new toy. "Holy crackers, this is top of the line. It's too much, I can't accept this."

"It's nothing, please." He responded, his blue eyes meeting her large blues. "My company makes them all the time for our consoles. I just snagged this one off the production line."

"Oh, that's right. Joey told me you own a big gaming company. Well, thank you so much. This is amazing!" She kissed his cheek with excitement. "Mokuba and I need to go get ready now, make yourself at home." She took the young boy by the hand and pulled him along behind her. "Your brother is freaking awesome." He heard her say and his brother laughed.

While the people bustled around him to prepare for the wedding he explored the house. It was a large house with a full size kitchen, open floor plan, large dining room, living room, two large bedrooms and half bath downstairs. He walked up the stairs and explored the rooms there. There were two bedrooms upstairs and another half bath. He had no problem picking out the mutts. Even though the house was new the room reeked of sweat and male. It was filthy, clothes and comics strewn everywhere. He closed the door before he gagged.

He found a third room upstairs and gawked. It had floor to ceiling bookshelves that were full. A desk sat in a tiny nook and bean bag chairs sat on the floor. As he looked around he heard shuffling behind a closed door to his left. As the door opened he saw Maggie come out with a towel wrapped around her chest, using another to dry her hair. She jumped back startled to see him. "What are you doing in here?" She demanded.

"I thought this was a library!" He said his hands up, backing away from the angry woman.

She sighed. "I guess the Murphy bed was a bad idea. This is my bedroom. You need to leave."

"My apologies." He said turning to leave. "Well that was embarrassing." He muttered as he turned to go back downstairs. He would think about her in just a towel all day. His face heating every time it crossed his mind.

As the wedding started he sat in the back away from the groups of friends. He watched as Mr. Gibbs stood at the front, his hands clasped in front of him. He wore black pants and a white button up shirt. Everyone turned as Maggie walked down the aisle with Wheeler. He wore black slacks and a white shirt like his stepfather. Maggie wore a light green sundress with white flowers and white heels.

Next came Mokuba and the mutt's sister. He couldn't care to remember her name. It surprised him that they were the same age. They wore the same outfits as the ones that walked before them. Then came the bride. She wore a dress of the same color as the bridesmaid and flower girl, but nicer.

The ceremony was short and to the point. The groom acts like a no nonsense kind of man. Seto decided the man would do nicely working for him. He thought as they walked back down the aisle together. He watched as Mokuba and the russet brown haired girl followed. Then came Maggie and Wheeler. She gave him a wink as she passed.

After he sat at a table alone waiting for his brother to get done with pictures. He watched as the group stood and took both serious and goofy pictures. In one Mokuba dipped the redhead, her hair pooling on the ground as she laughed. He found himself envious of his brother at that moment.

After pictures the kid sat with his friends leaving Seto to sit alone, until someone sat a plate of food in front of him. He looked up and saw Maggie smile. "I had to fight Joey for this, so you better eat." She smiled at him sitting down and handing him a bottle of water. He took the offered fork and picked through the finger foods. He offered her the food. "Thanks" she said, taking a grape and biting it in half. "I can't sit long. We gotta get on stage, but I wanted to apologize for earlier. You didn't know and I should have locked the door." She looked at him sapphire eyes on sapphire eyes.

"No, it was my fault. I shouldn't have been snooping."

"I'll forgive and forget if you will?" She smiled widely.

"Deal." He responded, smiling as she popped the last bit of grape in her mouth.

"Magnolia!" A singsong voice from a cleared out area. "We're reaàaaadddddyyyy."

"I hate him." She laughed. "After we do a few songs we're gonna play a mix playlist. Save me a dance?"

He nodded as she walked off. She was forward, taking control. He liked that. After telling people what to do all day, sometimes being told was good. He watched as she walked to where the microphone was and picked it up. The music played behind as she started singing slow, old country love songs. The music continued through the first dance, but after an hour a phone was connected to a docking station and the music changed. Faster paced music poured out and the dance floor filled with the teens laughing and having a great time. Maggie included, he watched as her hips swayed and her body moved with the rhythm.

As the evening wore on the young couple's came and went. The newlyweds left for a quick honeymoon weekend in Tokyo letting the teens rule the roost. By this time it was dark and the party was still going. The older teens had started drinking and generally making fools of themselves. "You owe me a dance sir," came a low purr as arms were slung around his neck, sending a shiver of excitement down his spine. There was a faint smell of vodka on her breath.

"Are you drunk?" He chuckled.

"Nah. Not even close." She grabbed his hand and pulled him to the clearing as a slow song started. She put his hands on her hips and her as high up on his neck as she could manage. They swayed together to the music. "Joey says you're a cold hearted bastard. I just don't see it. I mean you brought me a motherboard and you don't even know me."

"Maybe it's a feeble attempt at flirting." He said, the song changing to something faster. Their pace did not.
