It's has been a couple of months since Cain, and his new pet Shaymin moved into the house of Sonic and Tails.

The duo were skeptical at first, but decided to let them in, considering they need the money for rent.

Afterwards, they ended up learning about each other, except telling the duo about the whole Mega Man/Mario incident.

Cain sleep in the room that was for rent, with Shaymin sleeping with Cain.

Then one day, it's the day rent is due.

Cain and Sonic were sitting in the living room, where Cain is petting Shaymin, and Sonic is on the couch, just... staring at a poster.

That was when Tails came in.

"Rents due. Time to pay up."

Cain managed to get some money, by performing some odd jobs, which gotten him enough money to pay for himself and the rent, so he gave Tails the money, while Sonic didn't.

"Ugh. I'm a little short this month." Sonic said.

"You're always a little short every month." Tails said.

"But you know I'm good for it this month right?" Sonic said.

"Hell no. While I spend my days working for the dough, you spend your days staring at a poster. Not even a good one." Cain said as he points at a poster of Dominique Wilkins.

"Fuck off. I love this poster." Sonic said annoyed.

"Hey now. It's not my fault I spent my money on coke and Dreamcast stock." Tails said.

"It is your fault since you told me to buy them!" Sonic said in anger.

"Look. The point is that you can either pay up or get out. There's no in between." Tails said.

"Luckily for your poor ass, I think I can get you some jobs, considering you don't do much. So I know a guy who can help us." Cain said.

"Oh hell yeah. What is it, a new Sonic game, Sonic cartoon, Sonic death metal album? I don't give a shit, I'll do whatever." Sonic said as he jumped off the couch.

"It's not exactly those things, but it's good to see that you'll do anything." Cain said as he got up and took out a card.

"Go to town, find a large man in a suit, and tell him that Cain sent you." Cain said as he gave the card to Sonic.

Sonic took the card and ran out to town.

"Did you... gave him a job from a drug dealer?" Tails asked.

"Fuck no. The man just needs someone to do the newspaper route, considering the last one quit. I just did that to piss him off." Cain said.

"Ten to one he gets arrested." Tails said.

"Deal." Cain said.

It was no surprise that Sonic got himself in trouble with the police for breaking into a house and stealing a tv.

Luckily for him, he was wearing a hat so the cops didn't got a good look at him when he escaped.

Right now, Sonic is trying to make the stolen tv work, while Cain is on the phone and Tails was teach Shaymin some tricks.

Then the phone call ended, and Cain turned to Sonic.

"Great news. I got you a job." Cain said to Sonic.

"No shit, really?" Sonic said in disbelief.

"Well, sort of. It's a boxing match, and they need a boxer, so I volunteered you."

"The fuck?! I don't know even know how to box." Sonic said.

"It's a big payday if you win." Cain said.

"Let's get this motherfucker." Sonic said as he got pumped up.

The group was in the ring, where Sonic is getting ready to fight his opponent, who was more muscular and larger then Sonic.

"I'm not feeling good about this. Is it too late to..."

"Yes." Both Tails and Cain said.

"Just be careful and avoid his strong left. Just one left punch is enough to daze you, and let him pummel your bones to dust." Cain said as the bell rings.

The group left the ring, and watched Sonic used his own moves to beat the man.

"Hey, he got this." Cain said.

"Hey Sonic! Don't go crazy, ok! I kinda bet against you, so I need you to lose!" Tails said nervously.

"The fuck?! Sonic don't listen to him!" Cain yelled out.

Sonic didn't pay attention to what the group was saying, as he kept attacking that man and he managed to knock him out.

"Ha! I knew he can win! Right Tails? Tail?" Cain said as he turn to Tails, only to see him getting dragged by two men in suits.

After the fight, Sonic and Cain, who had Shaymin napping on his lap, were in the living room, annoyed with Tails on the couch with a cast on his body.

"Well, if you don't count paying for my debt with those gangster, and my hospital bills., I think we have some left over."

"Jokes on you dickface. Since it was my money that I won from the fight, I spent it all on a new frame for my poster." Sonic said as he grinned and look at the poster, which has a new frame.

"Not going to lie. It's better. Serves you right for betting on the wrong horse." Cain said.

The two laughed, while Tails groaned.

"I deserve it."
