Trigger Warning: Scenes of rape
Maggie woke to a bedroom flooded with sunlight, and she was pulled tight to someone's chest. An arm was around her waist, under her shirt, she felt the wedding ring against her skin. She moved and the hand came alive, groping and fondling her skin. He lifted her shirt and placed kisses on her bare back. "I hate when you sleep in a bra." He muttered into her back, "makes having my fun difficult. Take the shirt and bra off." He commanded. She had been in Boston for a week, but this was the first time she had woken with him in her bed.
"Tony, please." She begged, "please I'm tired and sore."
" I have missed you, and missed having you against me."
"You have my mother. Why do you need me?"
"Your mother is a cold hearted bitch, she tricked me into marrying her without a prenup. I divorce her I lose half of everything. But if I stay with her I will keep you." He began pushing up the back of the bra.
"Until I turn 18, then I'm out of here."
"Stay and I'll pay for college. Picture it Maggie. Harvard."
"No. I'm gone the second I turn 18 and I will never return."
"What about your mother?" His hand moved into the front of her pants, moving over her folds to her opening. He slid a finger inside as she winced. "Loosen up. Give in to the feeling and it won't hurt. You might even enjoy yourself."
"My door was locked."
"Magnolia, don't be dense. This is my house. I have keys to every room." He growled as he pulled her pants down. She felt his erection against her backside and closed her eyes tightly, preparing for the violation that was coming.
When he was finished he sat up and began to redress himself. "I am having an associate over for dinner tonight. I expect you to be on your best behavior." She sat up beside him covering her chest with the blankets that pooled around her. He stood, sliding his sweats over his hips. "Now, love, give daddy a kiss."
She spent the day in Troy's cottage, away from the main house. She was lying on his couch reading and he was painting her. Troy had always been a fantastic artist, she had met him at 13 and at first she was head over heels for him, for a year. Until he had forced himself on her. That had been the catalyst for her current situation. "Maggie, you moved." He whined.
"I'm sorry Troy. This position is uncomfortable." She moved back to her previous place with her leg thrown over the back of the small loveseat. "Hey, Troy, who is coming to dinner tonight?"
"I'm not invited. Tony said I'm an embarrassment to the Tatterton name." He said sadly. "I don't think Tony likes me."
"That's not true Troy." She said, not moving but trying to level out her voice to appear caring. "Tony loves you, honey. He just doesn't know how to show it. Troy you were 7 when your parents died. Tony was thrown into running the company and raising a child. You were solely his responsibility. He had no idea what he was doing." She smiled up at the man, trying to be reassuring.
"Sure, boarding schools during the year and sending me to Europe all summer so that he wouldn't have to deal with me." He stopped painting and moved to where Maggie sat. "I didn't even know he had gotten married until I came home and found you here. They had been married for, what, 5 years by then?" He reached down to the hem of her shirt and pulled it up slightly, exposing her pale stomach. "I came home from painting in Spain for a few years and find this beautiful woman in my home." He planted soft, open mouthed kisses on her stomach. "I wanted you that day. I remember it like it was yesterday. You wore a sky blue sundress. You had one leg thrown over the back of the couch like this." He took her leg and gently moved it over the couch into his desired position. "And the other like this." He crooked his arm under her knee and hefted it up at a slight angle. "Your hair was in high pigtails. Your dress was bunched around your thighs and the look of shock on your face when I walked in was delicious." Taking his hand he unbuttoned her pants and pulled it down to expose her sharp hip bones.
"Troy, no, please." She said as he ran his tongue over the exposed flesh. "Troy." She moaned as she fought to control herself. "Troy, I have to get dressed for dinner. Tony is already angry because you left a mark on my neck. I think we need to cool it for a day or two." She felt him nod against her skin. "Thank God." She mouthed.
"Will you come back after dinner and stay with me tonight?"
"Troy, you know the rules. I have to stay in the house. At least for the first few weeks."
"So that HE gets to play with you." Troy said with anger building in his chest. She knew that look well enough to be wary. "I want to marry you Maggie. He just wants to play with you." He laid down on top of her, his head on her breasts and began to sob. She brought her arms up to hold him. She started running her fingers through his hair and humming. "I love you Maggie." He said as he dozed off.
Once Maggie was sure he was asleep she gently slipped out from under him. She made her way back to the house trying to sneak in the front door. As the door closed behind her she found herself shoved up against it. "Where have you been?" Tony asked, his lips hovering over her ear. She felt his mouth as he pulled her earlobe into his mouth, sucking and biting it gently.
"I went to see Troy. He's upset about not being invited to dinner." She turned away as he tried to claim her lips. "He thinks you hate him."
"He's very astute." Tony said moving her shirt off of her shoulder and biting her. "I've been thinking about your comment about leaving at 18. I can't allow that. I think we should have a baby." She gasped as his hand was placed on her stomach, fingers splayed. "I can imagine you round and growing with my child."
"No." She pushed, but he didn't move. "No, Tony please." She started to cry.
"Oh, love, it's too late. You have an appointment with Dr. Croix the day after tomorrow to remove your IUD. Then, once I receive word that it's safe, we start trying for a son." He licked her neck and smiled at her. "Now, our guest will be arriving soon. I've left a dress on your bed. I expect you to wear it and fix your hair and makeup." He moved to send her on her way with a pat on the butt.
Maggie raced up the stairs and slammed the door to her room. Locking the door. Though, now, she knew that would not stop him. She turned and saw the box on the bed and opened it. It was a pale pink organza and silk dress, very modest and old fashioned. She hated it instantly, but she was afraid of what would happen if she did not obey him.
Two hours later there was a knock on her door and she heard it unlock. She saw Tony walk in with a satisfied smirk on his face, twirling the keys around his finger, as he watched her finish placing her curls. "I have a gift for you Maggie." He walked to her and held out a large jewelry box. She opened it and found a pink diamond choker and matching tennis bracelet. "I had this made especially for you." He kissed her hair. "Let me put it on you." She nodded as she moved her hair off of her neck so that he could clasp the necklace. "There, you make that look lovely."
Maggie rolled her eyes in the mirror. "What is my mother wearing?" She asked.
"Your mother will not be joining us tonight. She has a migraine." He smiled at her "so you get to practice your hostess duties tonight." He took her hand and pulled her into his arms. "Once we have the baby, I will send your mother away and you can take your place as the rightful lady of the house."
"What happened to Harvard," she asked against his chest.
"Well, Harvard is for women who will be working. You will be the lady of the house, for one of the richest men in Boston, why would you need to work? Besides, being a mother is a full time job, especially with three boys running around." He pushed her to an arms distance, but still held her. "Our guest should be here shortly, why don't we wait in the sitting room for them?" He took her hand and pulled her gently behind him.
There was a knock on the door as they walked down the stairs and Maggie watched as it opened to reveal a tall blue eyed man. The very same one she had been waiting on. She wanted to run into his arms as he stood there in his cool glory, his simple well tailored slacks and light blue button up shirt making him look non-threatening, but she knew the truth. The encounter with Bakura flashing through her mind.
She tried to hide her excitement at seeing the young man, but then she saw the excitement on his face as well. "Mr, Kaiba, it is great to finally meet you." Tony said as they reached the bottom of the stairs. The men met in the middle and shook hands. "Please meet the lady of the house. Magnolia."
"Hello, blue eyes." she said, removing her hand from Tony's and reaching out for his. Once their palms touched her pulled her into his arms. "It's about time. I was starting to think you forgot about me."
"Give me some credit," he snorted. "It takes time to prepare a strategy and make sure it's flawless." He brushed his lips over her hair. "Mr. Tatterton, I apologize for the false pretenses, I have no desire to do any dealings with your company. I just came to bring my girlfriend home." He looked down at Maggie, still in his arms. "Are your bags packed?"
She shook her head. "There is nothing here that I want to bring. I just want to go home."
"WHAT IN THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE?" Tony demanded.
"I am taking Maggie back to her father, where she belongs." Seto said, gently moving her behind him.
"The courts say she stays here until June." Tony answered smugly. "If she leaves the police will bring her back."
"Not once I tell them everything." Maggie spoke up from behind Seto, "and once we get back to Japan, I will. You don't use condoms, Tony, I am sure there is DNA left behind." She saw the look of panic come across his face. "I will ruin you Tony, Tatterton toys will be nothing when I get through with you. You, Troy and Viviane will be begging on the side of the road somewhere."
"Would you really hurt your mother like that?" Tony asked "What about Troy, he thinks you love him."
"Viviane is not my mother, and of course I don't love Troy. It was survival. Seto, can we leave now, please?"
"Absolutely." He put an arm around her waist and pulled her from the house. Maggie held her breath until she was safely tucked into his waiting car. As they pulled into the busy Boston traffic her resolve faltered and she began to sob. "You are safe now. It's ok. I am not going to let them hurt you anymore." He put a hand on her knee. "You are going to be ok."
"I don't feel like I will be. I feel like I will be broken forever." Maggie sobbed into her hands.
"You aren't broken, Maggie. You are so far from broken." He pulled them into a high rise hotel, a luxurious place that she had been to a few times for parties, but never any farther than the ballroom.
"We are going to stay here tonight, then head home in the morning." He said before getting out of the car. She knew to wait for him to open the door for her. "I will send someone out for new clothes for you so that you can be more comfortable." He took her hand and pulled her to him. "Let's go." He led her through the lobby to the elevator.
"Just like you to get the most fancy place you could find." She teased, her voice cracking still, but the tears had dried.
"Hey, there's my girl and her sense of humor." He brushed his thumb over her knuckles. As the elevator opened to a short hallway that had only one door. He pulled her to the door and using his key card opened it pulling her into the penthouse. She released his hand as they walked inside. "We will be leaving first thing in the morning." He said again looking down at her.
"Are you playing pilot?" She asked with a smirk.
"It's the only way I fly."
"Can we stop in Virginia first?" she asked as he closed the door. "I would like to see Jack."
"Who is Jack?" He asked, his face a wash with concern.
"My grandfather, Jackson Gibbs." She smiled, "but before we leave here, there is one more place I would love to go. If I am never coming back to Boston, I want to see Mikey again." She looked down at her dress, "But first, I need to change."
