Chapter 3: It Was An Accident

Star, stared by her bed, where Laddie lay, in their bed. She had, previously, tried to make him sleep, but he had refused, because he wasn't sleepy at the moment. He was too busy, watching the arguments, that were erupting in the entire cave, where Marko, David, Paul, and Dwayne were having about, what had occurred at the Pier.

Star knew, that Laddie, shouldn't be hearing the constant yellings, and the screams of fury, that Marko and David were showing. Star, made sure, to make sure, that Laddie was safe, and protected. Dwayne, stood observing Marko, and David. He made sure, that Marko, didn't do anything stupid, to hurt David. Paul just sat on the fountain, watching the ruckus getting high with his weed. Flicking his light and blowing smoke circles.

"It was an accident. I never intended, for things, to get out of hand. Or, worse. I just wanted, to get to know her. Marko

"And what Marko?" Thought she would be your friend? That you two could…. be, whatever, imagination, you had in that thick skull….? She's human. Humans are only food. They are meant to, quench our thirst. She is nothing, but that. You need, to remember, that. She has brothers, who are there to protect her. And worse. Now, that you have fed on her, she's at the hospital. We are all in trouble! You, Dwayne, and Paul did not BURN THE BODY! David yelled and bellowed through the entire cave. We are, going to have to feed, away from the boardwalk. We, have to lay low." David

"Police are bad news." - Dwayne

"If she dies, it will be good for all of us." - David

"Don't say that David, I don't want her to die, I want her to live, I like her, I….

"You're in love with her?" - David

David looked at Marko, with disgust on his face, and a sickened look, he took a bottle and threw it against the wall. The glass shattered, with a bang. It caused Laddie to jump in his bed. It frightened him. Star came to him from behind the bed curtain. She put a hand on his arm. She sat down next to him. Star was comforting him, as Laddie held his bear tight.

Dwayne looked over to check on Laddie.

Dwayne used his power, to communicate with him, letting him know, that he was fine. It's okay, bud. Just a family argument. You're okay." Dwayne said

Laddie nodded his head, and Star stroked his head.'

Star looked at Dwayne, but he stared at her for a moment then looked away, because he didn't care too much about her being that she was David's woman and she was off limits to him and the boys, but also because she was not for his tastes. It was called respect. Women were rarely brought into their group, this was just a boy's club, and no girls were allowed but Star. Yes, he and the guys fooled around, by looking at women, especially Maria at Max's video store. Oh, sexy Maria, beautiful, who they could not have and was off limits due to her working at Max's. Max was their maker, they all hated him, more than anything. And his stupid dog Thorn. David, Marko, Paul, and Dwayne loved to touch women. Especially, when they had boyfriends, just to make the boys and men angry. The reason being, they loved picking off humans, who were ready to fight their loves. Then, when night fell, they would feast on their flesh, both the woman and man. David and the boys would devour their hearts, and tear their limbs, one by one. But most of all, break their necks. That's what Marko was good at. He loved it. Marko was like a wild animal. David, was the leader, of brutality. Paul, was next in line, to Marko, but the question was, "Why are they both trying to outdo each other in a kill? Could Paul be more bloodier possibly the second to David? Paul was a monster just like David. Dwayne didn't like, playing with his food. He wasn't a hyena or any of those animals who loved to kill right away. Dwayne was like a cheetah. David was like a Water Buffalo. He dropped his prey and swatted them like flies. David devoured them, like a Lion. Marko and Paul were like honey badgers. They liked, to play with their food, then go in for the kill.

"MARKO, YOU DIDN'T FINISH HER!" You ended up, causing a scene. Police, are investigating, and snooping around, like a BUNCH OF DOGS! Marko, you shouldn't have engaged too much! Personally, with this human, or any human, especially ones who have a big family.

" Marko," David said, as he sat down in his wheelchair, if you like her and were willing to turn her like Laddie, then you should have talked to me first, but you made a mess, so now…

"Now, what?" You want me to kill her? Marko stared at David, with clenched fists, that were bleeding. Eyes turning gold and fangs appearing. "I WON'T DO THAT!" Marko shouted.

"YOU NEED to finish the JOB!" David said

"I WON'T" - Marko said back in a rage.

"It must have been her blood," Paul said

"It was strong!" Dwayne said. He was looking back at his fingers, and putting them, to his cheeks, to make warrior paint from the leftover blood that he hadn't washed away. He licked his fingers, as he, was marking the blood on his face.

Paul looked down at his hands and licked them too. Like a purring cat and making meowing noises, and laughing. And he was shaking his head wildly.

"It was that GOOD?" David said

"YEAH, REALLY GOOD, She was tasty like... when it's your first ride!"

"Your so nasty sometimes," "It makes me sick." Dwayne said

"Stop you know you love it, especially when we all tend to each other's wounds!" Paul

"PISS OFF!" Dwayne said

Paul laughed

"DO NOT INSULT HER IN FRONT OF ME, YOU BASTARD!" Marko said and grabbed Marko quickly by his collar jacket his eyes yellow and fangs showing pissed.

Paul only laughed and said, "CHILL MARKO, I KNOW SHE'S YOURS!

Marko then let him go and slowly backed away

Paul just twirled around and danced, with his cigarette all happy. Walking like a woman trudging back and forth on the fountain. His black boots lightly and quickly hit the bricks.

"You are always, so stubborn. You are just so stupid sometimes… but since, I love you so much, and I hate that human. I hope she does die. I am willing to make an exception. If you can't do it, I'll just have, Dwayne, to do it for you. Since you can't!"

"Dwayne?"

Dwayne, looked at David horrified. He would do anything, for David, whatever he asked, but to ask him to kill that little girl, not that it mattered. Dwayne and the rest of them had killed, so many other kids, and other teenagers like themselves. But this girl? The cute girl, that Marko liked? Who he was in love with? Marko who was sad? Upset, that he had fed on her? Then held her in his arms, shedding tears for her.

Marko looked at Dwayne, who looked back at him.

"You wouldn't Dwayne. Don't listen to David, please I beg you." Marko

"Dwayne doesn't take orders from you, you know that Marko." - David

"It's okay Marko, It's okay." Paul

"SHUT UP! "It's not OKAY!" "STAY THE HELL OUT OF THIS! - Marko

"I'm just trying to help Marko, you know that!" "You know, I'll always have your back pal." Paul

"David, Star has Laddie, and Dwayne is close to Laddie, I want someone too!" "I want her, as a companion…. And?

"And a Lover?" "The answer is No!" David said

"Then, I guess, I'll kill Laddie then?" Marko then turned and looked to where Laddie was laying down. Laddie suddenly started sitting up. Laddie was scared, Marko was the craziest one of them all, he was the one you had to fear, all of them were, but he was David's favorite they had a bond that was like fire and they would walk it for another, like they were lovers in paradise too. Marko growled at him. Star, immediately grabbed Laddie, who was yelling "NO!"

"DAVID!", Star said

Dwayne growled back. He was accepting a challenge from Marko. The two were staring each other down. Marko smiling, with his fingers in his mouth. He was biting his thumbs, and smiling his Chesire smile grin.

Paul stood up.

"Hey, guys let's not fight, we don't need to fight over a girl?"

"Apparently we Do!" - Dwayne

"You always give that bitch, what she wants!" Marko said. He was pissed with rage, like a Hippopatsuamus, that was set off! "You give Dwayne, what he wants too!" Marko said, pointing at Dwayne. I never have asked for a damn thing from you David. I thought you loved me?"

"I do love you," That is why, I am doing it, have her killed so you don't have to deal with the pain of the damage you've done, you can get another little girl who is wandering in the streets and won't go missed. That girl shouldn't come between us, or your brothers."

"Bullshit David, I want something to love." Marko

"So you want her as a pet?" David

"Yeah!" Marko said

"Your lying Marko." David

"Your jealous David!" Marko said

"No, just want her to burn in hell, because that's where she should have been in the first place!"

"DAVID! Marko yelled

Dwayne and Marko were just about to lunge at one another, when David, started clapping his hands and started laughing. And then David smiled. And then he dropped his smile.

"Make a Deal, with me Marko!" "You know I love Deals!" - David

"Oh, you love Deals, but I don't like making em with you!" Come on, it's just a deal, signed and delivered! Paul go, and get me a paper and a pen. Paul got up and went behind the curtain. He then came back, with a paper, and pen, and he handed them to David.

David had one leg on the handle of the wheelchair, where was sitting. He had the other leg on the floor. He began writing, and smiling as he wrote and looked up to Marko and then to Dwayne. Both were curious, like Maine coon cats, about, what he was writing. On the paper, he made words, appear, in his mind. He was speaking words in his mind, in order for the words to appear on the page and fill it.

David then said, "The deal, Marko, is, you wait until she turns 16 years old. During that time of her age, you have to get her to fall in love with you. If she doesn't, fall in love with you, then Dwayne, will kill her, right in front of you. And, I will kill her family. And, you will not feed, for at least 100 days. From then on, you have to do what Dwayne says."

"Like his little lap Dog?" Marko said

"Yes, like a good little lap dog," Dwayne said, smiling a sinister smile

And if I win?" Marko said

"If she falls in love with you, you may change her. And do as you please." David said

"Well, since you made all those other demands, I want more too." Marko

"Don't push it!" - David said

"It's only fair." When she is turned and mine, I want her to have the same respect as me, and I want her to have a bed, just like Laddie. Whatever, she wants, you all will get for her! Wherever she goes, I will go! Expect at daytime, of course. And Dwayne will worship her like a Queen, better than Laddie."

"Damn, Bro!" Paul said. Laughing and kicking his legs jumping up, and clicking them together, walking his feminine walk on the fountain. Then turning on the boom box, and rocking to it making his fingers act like they were playing guitar. He lit another cigarette after another. Tossing it over and over as he smoked.

"Dwayne, you better not lose, 'cause Marko is willing to do everything, thang for this girl! Better than Laddie?" HA HA

"DWANYE," Paul said

"I Will Never Love Someone Better Than Laddie! It ain't gonna happen, "REMEMBER THIS MARKO, Blood is Thicker Than Water. That girl is gonna remember who you are. And what you did, to her. You are The Evil One! Your own eyes will deceive you, and when you fail, she refuses to show you the same love and affection. "I will tear out her heart, and Feed it to you!"

"BRUTALITY," Paul said

"NO! "Better yet, let's make this more interesting, David?" Dwayne

David looked at Dwayne.

"Yes, Dwayne."

"If Marko loses, I want her instead!"

David looked shocked at Dwayne. However, he didn't like the request, he wanted her dead and was going to say "No, but then, it would be fun, Dwayne could always kill her when he grew tired or David would.

"Dwayne, you bastard!" Marko said

"I'll have her as a little pet for Laddie, to do whatever he wants, yeah? Hmmm?

"Yeah, I like that," We can always kill her and toss the leftovers."

"Better yet, Dwayne, it will be the other way around, I'll make Laddie a pet for her."

Dwayne didn't like that he growled and Marko growled back.

Dwayne showed his finger and taunted Marko.

"That's enough bidding boys, it's done, your final requests are in."

Dwayne turned to Marko and pointed

"You threatened Laddie Marko, that is unforgivable, I'm gonna hurt you, for that!" -Dwayne said

"Well See, "You Touch her, You Die." Dwayne get your butler suit on and get ready to dress up laddie in doll clothes!" Marko laughed

"Fuck you," - Dwayne said

David, sat there laughing and smiling.

Come sign this, both of you.

As they signed, and made a blood pact. And slashed each other hands dripping blood on the paper. David brought his hands together, making his fingers touch, as he was plotting.
