Draco, along with the entire Slytherin team, was getting ready for the match against Ravenclaw. He was getting ready to hit some bludgers.
"Attention students!" McGonagall's voice came, amplified, from the stadium. "The match has been cancelled due to another attack on our students."
All the team members groaned as one.
"All students are expected to head straight to their dormitories." The announcement concluded.
Once he changed out of his quidditch uniform, Draco made his way back to the Slytherin dungeons, and looked for Harry. Harry, however, was no where to be found. He looked around the common room. He looked around the dorm.
Oh no. Could it be? No, no. Harry isn't a muggle born. Yes, he's half-blood, but he's not a muggle born. The heir should not attack him. Yeah, that makes sense. He's probably just breaking curfew, or maybe he didn't know. But, he probably was at the stadium. Harry never misses any of his games.
Draco, worried about his friend, leaves the dungeons and runs to McGonagall's office, but nobody's there. He then runs to the hospital wing. If Harry is petrified, or worse, he would be there.
He makes his way to the hospital wing, and there he was, with McGonagall. Healthy, still alive, still moving. Draco sighed, relieved. Then, he noticed the tears in Harry's eyes.
"Harry," he ran towards him, that's when they noticed him.
"Mister Malfoy, you should be in your dormitory." McGonagall told him off strictly.
"I just didn't find Harry, and I was worried," he started saying, and then he stopped when he noticed who was in the hospital bed. It was Hermione. Petrified.
"Oh no," said Draco, and put a hand on Harry's shoulder to comfort him.
McGonagall raised an eyebrow. "Were you two friends?"
"Yes," answered Harry. That was a lie. Both Harry and Draco knew that the Hermione and Draco did not get along, but it was gonna get Draco out of detention.
"Yes," Draco reaffirmed.
"I see," McGonagall said, before adding "I will go get Mister Longbottom now, once you two are done with your visit, you should head straight to the dungeons. Is that clear?"
They both nodded, and she left.
