Ponyville
It was sundown when the fireworks for the festival started as a teenage unicorn and her smaller draconic assistant stepped outside of their library/home to see the festivities. These two are Twilight Sparkle and Spike Drake.
Twilight is eighteen years old with purple fur along with shoulder length darker purple hair with bangs over her forehead as her hair also sports a pink streak through it, she has a slim but modest frame and is dressed in a light blue buttoned up shirt with a pink tie under her collar along with a dark purple skirt with white knee socks and black shoes on her feet.
Spike is sixteen with light purple dragon scales and light green secondary scales as he has a slim frame and is dressed in a red T-shirt with black trousers, and he isn't wearing shoes. His clawed feet were more than durable enough to handle harsh terrain and grounds.
"The solar festival is always so festive." Spike said with a smile as his purple spade tail thumped on the ground.
"No kidding. All these fireworks must be a challenge to set up. The fact that this is going on shows how much people love the Solar Festival, but I doubt people know much about the festival's history." Twilight said looking up at the various fireworks going off by other ponies while they wandered the streets or had food carts or were giving out balloons and what not.
"I doubt anyone knows the festival like you do Twilight." Spike said with a snicker as the duo started walking.
"I just think it's fascinating. Legend has it that princess Celestia chose to banish the evil Nightmare Moon and punish her with eternal confinement in the moon itself. There are other details and shifts in stories from other sources but the main thing in all stories tells us that Celestia's battle with Nightmare Moon was so fierce that the stars themselves shook with terror from the magical might and aftereffects of the battle." Twilight said before the duo came up to a food cart.
Twilight grabbed a caramel carrot on a stick while Spike took a caramel apple and sure enough the festival started getting more intense as the big fireworks went off in the air, and when Twilight and Spike looked up, they saw something strange.
They saw what looked like a rainbow-colored meteorite falling through the sky and it was heading towards the Everfree forest.
"What was that?" Spike asked in surprise as he looked at the falling rock that nobody else seemed to notice among the fireworks going off.
"I don't know. But we should check it out. For science." Twilight said before Spike rolled his eyes and followed Twilight as they headed towards the falling rocks destination.
Moments earlier in a different dimension!
"Such classics." A young man said as he just finished playing an epic grinding session one of his favorite Bethesda games known as Fallout 3. This young man is named Hercules Staz. His mother was a big fan of Greek and Roman history.
Anyway, Hercules has dark brown skin with black hair cut low to his head with brown eyes and an average build. He is seventeen years old and is dressed in a simple blue tank top with grey sweatpants.
Hercules took out his Fallout 3 game disk from his Xbox and put it in his games case as the case was the Bethesda double feature pack containing both Fallout 3 and Oblivion.
"Such fun games. They're basically cult classics." Hercules said with a smile as he held the games while sitting comfortably in his gamer chair before something bizarre happened. "Huh?"
A weird rainbow-colored portal opened up underneath his, which made him fall clear through the portal with his double game disk container in his hands as he fell with fast speeds and was basically blinded by the colors before a strange and bizarre sensation washed over him that made him pass out.

"Are you sure we should be doing this Twilight?" Spike asked as they made their way through the Everfree forest and luckily, they managed to avoid the predators.
"Of course, we should be doing this. This could be the scientific find of the century Spike." Twilight said before moving past a tree and saw the small crater. "Found it." Twilight said with an excited smile before noticing that she didn't see a steaming rock and instead saw a furless person in the center of the crater.
"Is it a space alien or something?" Spike asked before he and Twilight made their way over towards the strange being. "Whoa. We found an alien."
"We should take him to the hospital. Even if he is an alien or something, he must be hurt from that kind of fall." Twilight said before the duo made their way back to Ponyville where they took Hercules to the hospital to get treated.

"What the hell?" Hercules asked with blurry eyes as he saw the floating green tinted game-like screens appear in front of him, which greatly confused him before he got a look around at his surroundings and noticed that he was in a hospital room.
"Did I imagine falling through a portal?" Hercules asked himself as he sat up in the hospital bed and noticed the door open and to his shock, he saw an anthropomorphic pony come into the room. She has a humanoid appearance with white fur acting as skin with a white nurses' outfit on her body with a modest skirt and a small red hat with a cross over it on her head along with red chin length hair on her head.
"Your awake. Interesting." The nurse said as she started writing stuff down in her clipboard as Hercules was just looking on at the woman who reminded him of the beast races in the elder scroll's universe, so he decided not to be rude.
"Where am I?" Hercules asked with a steady breath.
"You're in the 'Firefly' hospital in Ponyville. You're a curious case for us, considering you're an entirely new species we haven't seen before. The fact that you speak our language and understand it is also interesting." The nurse said back before Hercules looked down at his hands for a moment before talking again.
"New species?" Hercules asked as the woman nodded her head.
"Yes. Now that you're up we can have more doctors look at you and ask you a few questions." The woman said before Hercules spent hours being poked and prodded by doctors and scientists alike wishing to study him, but luckily enough when the tests were done, Hercules was left alone in his hospital room for a while.
"I'm literally in a different world. This is like an anime or something." Hercules said to himself before looking at the stacks of books that some scientists have given him, so they can test his reading skills and mental abilities. Hercules had no problem reading the books, which did teach him more about the world he found himself in, but it didn't change how weird things were to him.
"I wonder if they're even going to let me leave this place." Hercules said to himself before another person entered the room. This person was Twilight who seemed a bit nervous.
"Hello there. I'm Twilight Sparkle and I'm the one who found you. I was wondering if I could ask you some questions." Twilight said with a notebook and pencil in her hands.
"Sure." Hercules replied casually with a shrug. He was tired but talking to a cute…Girl? Was something he didn't mind doing. Twilight asked a series of questions to Hercules who answered as best he could about where he was from, what happened to him, what his species was capable of and so on.
"I think that's enough Twilight." A new voice said and the person who entered the room this time was a pony dressed in a royal blue business suit with tan fur and grey hair on her head along with some reading glasses over her eyes.
"Who are you?" Hercules asked.
"I am Mayor Mare, and I am the mayor of Ponyville and yes, I know my name makes it a bit funny, but I didn't pick it. Anyway, I came to talk to you about your next steps going forward, while you're here in town." Mayor Mare said before explaining to Hercules that he was being given a temporary place to stay for a while.
Princess Celestia would be coming to the town soon to meet him in person and until then he could just be a normal citizen as long as he doesn't cause any trouble for anyone.
"I promise I won't be a burden." Hercules said before standing up in just the hospital gown. "Do you think someone can get me some proper clothes though?"
"That will be easy enough to do. Twilight has volunteered to be the one to give you a tour of our community so be sure to be on your best behavior mister alien." Mayor Mare said before turning around and leaving.
After a short while someone gave Hercules his new clothes. A brown tunic and matching trousers and shoes before he followed Twilight out and was given a tour of the large city of Ponyville. Twilight gave Hercules detailed information about all the shops and key locations to visit and what not before stopping at what was to be Hercules' temporary home.
It is a small cabin near the edge of the city and the inside looked to be full of random junk with a bed, a working bathroom and kitchen but sadly it seemed to not be stocked with much or a decent amount of cleaning supplies so he could clean the place up.
"Sorry about the mess. The last person to live here was a bit of a hermit before he decided to move on." Twilight said apologetically.
"It's fine." Hercules said with a sigh before moving some things off the bed before he decided to lay down on it and found that it was comfortable instead of being a rundown bed.
"I'll leave you alone then. I hope you enjoy your stay here." Twilight said back before she left Hercules alone and when he was alone Hercules became a bit sad. Not by the fact that Twilight left but by the fact that he might not see his parents or anyone else from his world again.
"I'm really stuck here." Hercules said to himself as if he was about to cry before an alert appeared in front of him.

"What is going on with these game screens? Did I hit my head or something?" Hercules asked but didn't get any answer or message in response before letting a huff of agitation before pulling up the covers of his bed as he chose to simply stay in bed for the rest of the day to try and forget about everything.
Forget that he was in a different world, forget that he was hallucinating videogame screens, forget that he was poked and prodded by scientists and doctors, forget that he was meeting up with some princess but most importantly he wanted to forget that it might be some time before he saw his parents again.

Two hours. That is how long Hercules stayed in bed for, before he got agitated and started looking around the cabin for something to do. He found a lot of stuff but what stuck out to him was a fishing rod he found along with a fishing kit and sure enough he grabbed the rod and kit, along with the cabin keys before heading out and making his way towards the fishing spot that Twilight pointed out.
The fishing spot wasn't busy and it was a large lake just a bit outside of the city limits, meaning that Hercules had some more time to be alone before he sat on a large rock and prepared to fish.
"I played a few fishing sims so it can't be too hard." Hercules said before he reached over and dug his hand into the ground a bit before finding a worm. He put the worm on the fishing hook before casting it into the water, and then he simply waited and listened to the sound of nature around him.
"There is a farmers market so I could probably sell this fish, but the problem is that I don't really have a bucket or anything to carry it in." Hercules said to himself, as the buckets in the cabin seemed…Used and he didn't want to know what they were used for.
After a while he did end up getting something on the hook and held on tight to his fishing rod before reeling in the fish, which took a lot more effort and energy than Hercules expected but luckily, he reeled in the fish.
The fish was large like a football and just as wide, it is a light silver color with a narrow head and four fins, two on each side that seemed to almost look like wings.
"Even the fish here are weird." Hercules said before he carefully removed the hook from the fish's mouth and against his better judgement of getting money, he released the fish back into the lake and saw another game screen appear.

Hercules chose to ignore the tick mark that formed on his head before he went back to fishing after getting another work out of the ground.
A/N: I swear this will be my final story before I get back to working on the other ones. I just felt like making a mlp gamer story. If you don't like it, then tough nuts.
