In a small city off in the mountains, a silver haired boy was crying, his skin red and blistered, steam rolling down his cheeks. The teacher rushed to the playground, consoling the small child, realizing the tears were hot, the entire body was burning to the touch. Luckily, a fellow classmate with an cold touch was able to cool the boy down, that was the day young Higashi's quirk came to be.

8 years later…

I'm going to be a General, I'll be all of your boss!" A teenager boasted, standing on his desk. Another scoffed, rolling her eyes. "As if, a general has to be smart, you can't even solve a simple math problem." The students bickered amongst one another, while a silver haired male sat by the window, staring at the sky. He wasn't listening to them bicker, his classmates always getting into fights over who was getting what ranks.

"Asahi….Asahi….ASAHI!" The scream startled the male, who jumped and turned to face the screamer. His friend, Shock, was leaning on the desk, face inches from him.

"What rank are you going after? Lieutenant? General? Captain?" The green haired teen questioned.

A red haired female laughed. "He's gonna be a spy, aren't you Asa? Gonna become some low tier hero, right?"

Asahi smiled at the two, giving a shrug. "I don't know. I haven't figured out yet what I want to do."

"Better figure it out soon, this is our last summer before we all start the army. We might not see each other again after that." A third voice spoke, a blue haired male, approached the group, hands in his pocket.

"Yeah, Micas right, we should do something after school, one last hurrah as a group." The red female suggested.

"How about we go down to Okoyama? We had a blast last time." Shock smirked.

"You guys had a blast, I got charged with assault." Asahi frowned, remembering the fight he got into.

"Have I ever mentioned you are my best friend?" Shock was quick to wrap an arm around the Silver haired male, sheepishly grinning.

"Multiple times, always when you are in trouble or want something." Asahi pointed out, eyeing the male.

"Come on Asahi, we promise, Shock won't start any trouble this time. It's no fun without you!' the female pleaded, leaning on his desk and grabbing his hands.

Between the two pleading, Asahi was unable to say no. "What time?"

"6 good with everyone?"

"Yep!"

"Meet you guys at the playground!"

The bell rung and the others all scattered to their seats, the last school day was beginning.
