A couple of weeks after Luz had met Amity and the others in the human realm, she was hanging out with them at a restaurant.

"Owl Girl saved the town again yesterday," said Willow while looking at a TV that showed news footage of the hero defeating a monster.

"I wonder where she and those monsters came from," said Luz.

"Who knows," said Amity while taking some fries.

"But no matter where they are from, things have gotten more interesting around here thanks to them and Owl Girl at least keeps saving us," said Gus. Suddenly, people out on the streets began screaming and running from a swarm of Fire Bees.

"Here we… where did Luz go?" asked Willow as she noticed that the mentioned girl was gone.

"Hm, kind of suspicious," said Amity as she put a frie in her mouth and leaned back in her seat. Meanwhile, Owl Girl was flying after the swarm which had flown away from the people.

"I really need to start leaving behind an illusion of myself or something," said Owl Girl.

"Pretty sure they're starting to get curious about me always leaving," she said before using a spell to freeze the bees in a solid block of ice before catching them. As this was happening, Belos was in the room with the portal glyph back on the Boiling Isles.

"Well, did it work or not?" asked Belos as he stood behind some guards that were sitting at a table with a crystal ball.

"It did, sir," said one of the guards.

"She was so focused on the Fire Bees that our View Bats were able to hide and we now have a visual in the human realm," said the guard while the crystal ball showed Owl Girl flying away from the scene.

"Good," said Belos. Unbeknownst to any of them, two people were watching everything from the vents.

"Just hang in there a little longer, we're coming to help, Luz," whispered a boy while taking a picture of the glyph circle using his scroll.
