The Wind Tribe moves with the breeze, along with the wind. They don't overthink things and loyalty is most important.
Tae-Woo knows this, but also feels that tight knit bond that risks. He cares for Hak, will not say a word that the Princess was here in their Tribe, here where she's not supposed to be.
And then, later, he'll accept his role as General in obedience even though it keeps him away from his best friend and is so much work.
Hak and Mundeok require this of him; it helps them both out. And it gives him opportunities to even help Yona out as well, chances to rally the Wind Tribe together and really save the day.
It's a little hard to work with Soo-Won, but good things are always worth the hardships that often come with them.
