Chapter 3: The Tryout

Naruto woke up the next morning, Hikaru lying next to him, hugging him tightly. She was sleeping soundly.

Smiling, Naruto looked at his girlfriend, he knelt down and kissed her forehead.

Later that day...

(Konoha)

Hinata and her team were working their respective jutsus, the bluenette was wondering what Naruto was doing, she hoped that he was safe, wherever he was.

(Amegakure)

Pein, the Leader of the Rain Village and psuedo Leader of the Akatsuki is ready to begin tracking down the Demon Containers, all of the others had been located, all except for one, the Kyuubi Container.

"What do you mean the Nine-tails Jinchuriki cannot be found?" Pein inquired to Konan.

"There have been no sightings of him or any mentions of him, but we can't find him anywhere." the blue haired girl said calmly.

"I see." Pein said flatly.

(With Naruto)

Naruto is at the Bistro working, he brings a Customer's order, suddenly, his phone rang, it was Hikaru.

"Hello?"

"Hiya honey, I h-have some good news for you?" said Hikaru.

"Really? What's up?" Naruto said.

"I just found out that Tony Khan is announcing some tryouts, and I think that after seeing you fight last night, you would be a great Pro Wrestler." Hikaru said, smiling.

Arashi Vs. Jake Hager (Jack Swagger)

Three weeks after Naruto signs his 192,000 dollar\year contract with AEW and a strong showing at his tryout that had impressed Tony Kahn and Jon Moxely, among others.

Tonight, Naruto will be debuting on Dynamite against the J.A.S.'s Jake Hager.

(Hero's Come Back by Nobody Knows+)

Justin Roberts, the "Dapper Yapper" stands in the middle of the ring, microphone in his left hand.

"Ladies and gentlemen, your opening contest is scheduled for one fall with a twenty minute time limit, introducing first, Arashi!"

Then, Judas by Fozzy. began playing.

The blonde looks on as the crowd sang along.

"And his opponent, accompanied by the Ocho, Chris Jericho, representing the Jericho Appreciation Society, Jake Hager."

The larger man raised his arms, soaking in the cheers of the crowd.

Then, the bell rang, signaling the start of the match.

Arashi began grappling with Jake, taking the bigger man down, to the shock of the crowd. Backstage, Hikaru smiled, happy to see her boyfriend enjoying himself in the ring. Twenty minutes later, Arashi bounced off the ropes and knocked Hager out with his finishing move, the Kyuubi Crosshammer.

Jericho and the rest of the J.A.S. Were stunned silent as Arashi's left arm was raised by the referee. Then, the arena exploded in applause.

When Naruto went backstage, he was greeted by Hikaru, Jon Moxley, Brian Danileson, Claudio Castenolli, Wheeler Yuta, Taz, Tony Shavonnie, Tony Kahn, Toni Storm, Hook, Penta El Cero Mero, Rey Fennix, and Kenny Omega. They were all clapping approvingly, Danileson, Yuta, Claudio, and Mox all stepped up to the blonde.

"That was a great showing out there, kid. You're something special." the American Dragon says, then Wheeler hands Naruto a Death Jitsu shirt with his name on it, along with a Blackpool Combat Club sweatshirt and jacket, also bearing his name, smiling, Naruto takes the offered gear and puts them on.

"Welcome the BCC's newest member, Arashi." Brian Danielson announced.

The next match up is Statlander vs. Hikaru for the TBS Championship, Naruto hugs his girlfriend and wishes her luck, then Hikaru left to head to ring.

Everyone left except for Tony Storm, Naruto, Tony Kahn, and Shavonnie.

"Arashi, you impressed a lot of people and won over a lot of fans, I had planned on you being exclusive to Collision, but I think that restricting you to that show only would be a grave diservice to our fans, so, you will be free to compete on any AEW show you wish and that also goes for New Japan Pro Wrestling."

"I understand, Mr. Kahn and I thank you for giving me this opportunity to work for you." the blonde says, unbridled joy in his voice.

Meanwhile, in Konoha...

Hinata was angry, no, she was LIVID! Her Father, Hiashi was meeting with a Nobleman from Suna whose spoiled Son has expressed an interest in Hinata, but the lavender haired Chunin has rejected his advances on several occasions, telling Ose Koto that her heart belongs to her True Love, Naruto Uzumaki and that she would not break her vow of love to the man of her dreams, this angered Ose and he foolishly grabbed Hinata, this led to Hinata, Kiba, and Akamaru ripping into Ose and putting him in the hospital in the ICU which has led to the current situation that Hinata has found herself in.

"Hinata, why must you be so stubborn? Can you not see the bright side of marrying into the Koto Clan?" Hiashi asks, still at a loss for words that his daughter had flat out rejected Ose.

"I don't care about any of that, you know that Father, my heart has always and will always belong to Naruto-kun and he said that he's willing to give dating me a chance when he comes back, so, I am going to wait for him, no other man will have me. And that is my final decision." Hinata said, defiance in her pale eyes and in her voice.

Hiashi had also realized that Hinata had spoken to him without stuttering at all.

Back with Naruto...

Naruto is finishing up with his shower, he's dressed in his jeans, black Death Jitsu t-shirt, and black New Balances. As he is exiting the Men's Locker Room, he sees Toni Storm talking to Brian Cage and Billy Gunn. The blonde walks past the trio.

"Hello love," Toni calls out to Naruto, walking away from Billy and Brian, Brian glares at the blonde pair as he had his eyes on Toni Storm ever since she came to AEW.

Naruto stops and turns to face the woman that had spoken, freezing at the sight of the beautiful Austrailian blonde.

"T-Toni Storm." Naruto said with reverance and a subtle shyness that Toni thought was too cute.

"You did good out there, you need just a little polish, but you're sound in the ring and you have presence and you connect with the fans really well, I really hope that I get to work with you in the future." she says.

"I-I'd really like that, Miss Storm." Naruto says, still nervous.

"Hey! Newbie!" Brian Cage walks over to Naruto and shoves him hard, but Naruto barely moves and only glares at Cage, the look in the blonde's icy azure eyes nearly freezes the larger man in his tracks.

"What do you want, Brian Cage?" Naruto inquires coldly, the sudden shift in Naruto unnerves Toni a little.

"Toni is mine, you hear, Rookie? You've got Shida and I'm gonna thrash you next week on Dynamite to prove it to you."

Naruto glances at Toni before looking back at Brian.

"I'm not here to get involved in petty romances, now, if Miss Storm is interested in me romantically then that's someting that will be worked out by myself, Hikaru, and Miss Storm and no one else, so, as far the match next week, No, because I'm working overtime at the Bistro to make up for not being there tonight, so, go vent your anger somewhere else. Goodnight." Naruto said dismissively.

Then, he walked away from Brian Cage and Toni, who was glaring at Brian.

"What was that about, Brian?" Toni hissed.

Pein and the other members of the Akatsuki were leaving their home base, they were headed for Konoha.

Anko and Tsunade are walking through the village, towards Konoha Park, Anko was angry.

"So, Hokage-sama, my letter, along with Hinata's was never sent out, someone intercepted them." the Special Jounin said with a growl.

Tsunade instantly knew who was responsible for this.

"Danzo." the blonde Hokage hissed.

With the Akatsuki...

Pein is speaking to Itachi as they crossed into the Land of Fire.

"I want you and Kisame to find the nine-tails Jinchuriki, do what you must to obtain the information regarding his whereabouts, do you understand, Itachi?"
