"Go back home."
Her nose scrunched up as the scent of the farm assaulted her nostrils and she scowled as she stepped tenderly onto the soft ground beneath her high-heels; stepping out of the car with her handbag hanging on her right shoulder as she held her cell phone tightly in her left hand. Her gaze then landed on the modest farmhouse before twisting in disgust as she turned around to discuss something with the driver who appeared exhausted from the conversation already before it'd even begun. With his inquisitiveness now fully satisfied, Sasuke resumed consuming his meal; enjoying his lunch break even if the sun felt like a million needles penetrating his flesh all at once.
He could handle the heat though.
He'd learned and adapted long ago.
A little perspiration never killed anyone; he'd live.
If only his two companions shared his disinterest in the newcomer. If only they too had been satisfied enough to continue with their lunches in peace and quiet. Unluckily for him, that wasn't the case.
But just as with the heat, he'd become accustomed to their obnoxious ways and chose instead to ignore them; as well as the pretty new arrival… who reminded him of his mom's favorite flowers that she'd plant every single year (without fail) in her flower beds; until she became ill that is. Sasuke shook his head to clear it and used a napkin to wipe away droplets of perspiration running down the back of his neck and down across his forehead. Eat, drink, then get back to work. That's all he had to do. Lady Tsunade's horses won't tend and train themselves after all.
The conversation around him continued.
"… but pink though?"
"It's probably dyed or something. You know how girls like her are."
"True. Pretty though I gotta say."
"I give her a whole week before she goes running back to her Mommy and Daddy," his best friend whispered before taking a large bite from his sandwich; ignoring the fact that he'd just assisted a mama pig with giving birth and hadn't even considered washing his hands yet.
The boy to his right scoffed. "A city girl like her? I give her three days at most."
The first who'd spoken nudged him on the shoulder just as he took a hard sip of his water to ease down his sandwich. "What do you say, Teme," Naruto asked. "How long do you think she'll last?" But the dark-haired refused to play their little 'guessing game' and rolled his eyes instead to show them his annoyance. "I bet you'd say… what, a day? She doesn't look like she's ever been in the country before; let alone on a farm."
Suigetsu swallowed and snorted. "Those types of girls are all the fucking same, you know. I've yet to meet one… who could actually handle herself out here on the farm. Unless she's from the country originally, that is. But… I don't really count those. This one," he nodded towards the pink-haired as she stomped her foot, "clearly is not from around here."
Sasuke grunted. "She looks like a damn spoiled brat," he commented offhandedly; finally joining in the conversation.
"Maybe… but she could be nice…," Naruto shrugged and tossed back the last bite of his meal, before crumpling the trash. "Guess I'd better get back to work. Those pigs won't feed themselves." He stood and dusted his fingers off onto the front of his overalls; as if that would clean them.
Suigetsu did the same before tossing his trash in the trash can, rising to his feet with a long stretch of his arms above his head. "I gotta get back to work too unfortunately. Have to finish tilling the fields before it gets too dark out."
Left alone, his gaze landed on the woman once again and he scowled as he watched the driver pull her luggage from the trunk of his car, while she ignored him and typed away furiously on her phone.
'Annoying city girl.'
His eyes narrowed.
He had no time for the boy's gossip… or for her. He had work to do.
A distraction they needed not. She needed to go back to wherever she came from… and the sooner she did… the better off they'd all be.

If any of these sound like your own writing or another you have read I apologize but I didn't copy anyone's work. This is entirely my own writing. As stated on Twitter, I'll be going at my own pace and not follow a daily upload schedule more than likely. I'll just post when they come to me. They'll probably be pretty short, and maybe a bit random, but I'll do my very best!
