It was dawn. Daina had gathered her team. "We need a new plan" daina announced. Everyone apart from vidia looked puzzled. Vidia had figured it out the same way daina did. "it's a trap" vidia said. "You know her vidia" daina said. "This is exactly like her."
"What kind of plan?" sunny asked. "We need to get clarion out of there" daina mused. "But we need to avoid getting captured." At this everyone became lost in their own thoughts.
"can't we just figure it out as we go?" vidia yelled impatiently. Daina rolled her eyes. That was the vidia she knew.
"I say we go to morgana's lair and figure it out from there" hyacinth said. "Who cares what an overgrown flower has to say" daina scoffed. "Why are you always so bossy? It's not like your opinion matters" hyacinth argued. "Who says yours does?" daina fought back. "Who died and made you queen?" hyacinth retorted. It was only when tears started to roll down daina's face that he realized he overstepped it. "I'm sorry, daina" he apologized softly. "Save it!" daina snapped.
"All those in favor of making up the plan as we go?" milori cut in. almost everyone raised their hands. "Everyone packs your stuff and meet back here in a half hour." Daina instructed. Everyone flew off to their respective houses.
*Half an hour later*
Everyone was preparing to leave when daina arrived. She had changed to be a bit more comfortable. She was wearing black track pants and a purple crop top, and her hair was in a high ponytail. She had a medium sized bag slung across her shoulder.
Milori walked over and handed her a pouch. "Extra pixie dust" he explained when he saw daina's puzzled expression. "Is everyone else ready?" she asked, eager to leave. "yes" her answered.
She turned to everyone else and was about to speak when snow interrupted. "Wait! Everyone grab a pair of earplugs." Snow said. "Why do we need earplugs?" daina asked in exasperation. Snow just raised an eyebrow. "We are going hiking in a jungle for probably a week and you and hyacinth are both going to be there. Does that answer your question?" snow replied matter of factly. Daina rolled her eyes.
"Ok, everyone ready?" there was a resounding yes. "Let's go" milori said. They turned towards the jungle and crossed the threshold.
*With clarion*
Morgana was back outside clarion's cage, watching daina, the ministers and milori set out to save clarion. Clarion just sat still, unable to move. She was right, daina had figured it out. Yet they did not know that morgana could watch them at any time. "Seems like your friends figured out my plan. But I will still capture them" morgana cackled. "Are you scared yet queenie? Cause you should be." Morgana mocked. Clarion just stayed silent. She was deep in thought, trying to find a way to warn her sister that she was being watched.
