As always please review, I don't mind the hate comments but I'd prefer constructive criticism.
It had been one and a half years since the two of them, Genin and Chuunin, achieved they're current rank. They were 12 right now, still so young, still so...
Today, just like any other day off the children got from their busy Shinobi careers, they were training. From the early morning hours, till past the setting sun.
From when the sun still laid dormant below the vast horizon, thick mist hindering their senses and shortening their field of vision like a thick cloud laying on the surface of the land. Till the darkened sky started to fill with glinting stars, sparkling like jewels in their very own jewelery box, waiting patiently for insignificant souls to stare up at them and admire their endless beauty from down below.
Clashing of steel against steel and the silent tap of feet against the drying grass below it filled the air as a pair of young children sparred, their battle seemingly already reached its climax.

*Clang*
The final strike clashing together and the ravenette boy overpowering the smaller silverette girl, pinning her to the ground below and holding his kunai to her throat, declaring his victory.
As the boy was standing up from the ground where he pinned his partner to the cold, hard ground, he caught the devilish grin spreading onto her face from the corner of his eye. That was the only warning he received as she playfully tackled her opponent, muffled laughter reached her eardrums when she starting to tickle his sides and she perked up when she confirmed that the desired affect occurred.
ITACHI's POV
My body crashed to the ground, Honoka resting her weight onto my waist as she began to tickle my sides. Hastily clasping my hands over my mouth I started laughing into them.
After a moment of this she climbed off of me, extending her hand out for me to sit up. I took it and she sat down next to me.
The silence that fell onto us was comforting and I stared up at the star filled sky as my mind drifted towards the Jonin exam I'm taking in a few months time.
This always happens when we finish training, we sit down to just... think.
HONOKA's POV
When I finally decided to spare the poor Uchiha I offered my hand to help him sit upright and then took my seat next to him.
After each training session we would just sit down and either talk about whatever came to mind or fall silent and just think. Today I decided on something different though.
When my parents were still alive my mom used to sing me a lullaby and it just came to mind right now. So clearing my throat I started to hum my favorite song.
Itachi was surprised. When the girl next to him had cleared her throat he was expecting her to say something, not hum. He wasn't complaining though, the melody was peaceful, like a calm ocean, it's waves carrying him to a foreign land filled with greenery.
In the distance stood a girl clad in a pure white gown, her silver locks dancing with the gentle breeze guiding its movements.
She was beautiful, graceful and elegant. Even as her arm shifted from its position, hand raised in a way that drew him to her as he too slowly raised his right hand as he walked closer to the girl.
However the closer he came to the silver haired beauty, the further she move away. With every inch she moved away from him, the quicker his pace became. Soon her was in a full on sprint but somehow he still couldn't catch up to the girl.
'Who is she?'
He questioned himself over and over again as his legs moved forward.
'She looks so familiar.'
The two kept this pace up for a moment longer till she completely stopped, confusing the young boy, but nonetheless he contacted forward till he was right in front of her.
'Enchantingly beautiful silver hair.'
'Electrifying blue peepers.'
'And a familiar small smile gracing her lips.'
'Who are you? Why can't I remember?'
The boy, still wracking his brain for this girl's identity, opened his mouth to speak but closed it once more as no words excited his lips.
Then the silverette opened her mouth to speak, and her gentle voice entered his ears, and entrancing him.
'Is she singing?'
He was woken up by Honoka gently playing with his hair. She still hadn't noticed him waking up and he decided to let her as it was comforting for the ravenette boy as well.
She shifted her weight so instead of his head resting on her shoulder it was now placed onto her chest. Removing the hair tai and running her slender fingers through his hair.
A slight shiver ran down the boy's spine and this time it was noticed by the girl currently playing with his hair.
"Do you like it when I play with your hair like this Itachi?"
The older of the two contemplated his answer for a moment, the girl having stopped and just waited patiently for her friend's answer.
"Hm."
Taking that as a yes she continued to play with his hair, her fingers tangling and untangling through the smooth hair.
The two sat there for a while longer, now later than originally expected. The female of them started humming the same melody as before this time Itachi listened to it attentively, forgetting about the dream he experienced on long ago, and forgetting about the girl clad in white garments.
The humming slowly died down, her fingers now longer moving through his hair and when he looked up he saw why, little Honoka had fallen asleep just like himself merely a few minutes ago.
She looked so peaceful in her sleep, so gentle, so frail, like even the slightest touch could break her... like a porcelain doll.
He shifted his weight so she was laying against his chest, the roles now switched. Hugging her, he rested his head on hers and held the girl close to him.
'Just a little bit more. Let this last just a little bit longer.'
That's it, chapter 8 done. What do you think of their relationship? Let me know in a review, as always I don't mind the hate comments but I'd prefer constructive criticism.
