Komand'r had a constantly taxing schedule. The people of Tamaran were in a demanding state, one that she understood. Her father had lost their trust long before her death was offered as a path toward peace, and the tamaraneans felt abandoned by her sister when she did not return. She now carried the burden that her parents and sister left in their wake, but she felt that Tamaran deserved the opportunity to move forward, enough so that she sacrificed her own happiness to make amends for her family's betrayal. Although challenging, she took solace in the progress that had occurred since her return.

She sat eagerly in her chamber awaiting her daily communication with Conner. They both kept their word and spoke every night as promised. Sometimes more. She grinned as he came into focus on her screen.

He welcomed her with a warm smile. "Hi."

She relaxed when she heard his voice. "Hi."

"What's wrong?" He knew her well.

"Nothing." She didn't want to burden their call.

"Something."

"How do you know?"

"I just do. So what is it?" He had no plans of letting this go.

"It's not important."

"Yes it is."

"Conner."

"One of the reasons we agreed to every day was so we could help and comfort each other if anything happened. Was that supposed to be one way?"

She sighed. "Of course not. I'm…tired."

"Is it the noble houses again?"

"I'm sure they're not done with their scheming but no. It's just harder than I expected it to be."

He couldn't imagine the intensity of the pressure she endured and wanted to be helpful whenever possible. "You are brilliant, strong, and determined among other things. The people of Tamaran have no idea how fortunate they are to have you as their queen."

"I wasn't talking about ruling."

"Then what?"

"I never…" She trailed off. "I meant what I said about having to leave when I did. If I had stayed one more moment with you I would have never left Earth. Being away from you…it's harder than I expected it to be."

He sighed thinking of their conversation. "If I don't leave now, I never will. Those were your words."

She lowered her head knowing how hard it must've been for him. "They were true. I just hope I did the right thing. I'm so sorry."

"You did what was right for your people. Never apologize for doing something so noble. I'm proud of your decision and I'm proud of you." He knew she needed more than words and grinned. "Do you remember that first night?"

"The night we met?"

"No." His expression was telling.

"Oh! That first night." She smiled. "Of course I remember."

Komand'r laid in her bed at Wayne Manor. It was the middle of the night and she was restless. She had joined the Titans earlier in thwarting Crane's plan for a freezer or whatever. She hadn't paid much attention to the details although she did enjoy herself during the battle, it was quite exhilarating. But that wasn't enough to keep her up tonight. That alone wouldn't have this much of an effect on her. It was him. It was Conner.

She stared at her ceiling resolving to go to his room and take him up on his offer. She would indeed like him to show her what other skills he had. A sudden sound of knocking interrupted her thoughts and she reluctantly made her way to the door.

It was him, as if plucked from her very thoughts. She had never seen him like this, pants and nothing else. It was a look she rather enjoyed although she often pictured him wearing less, far less.

He eyed her not expecting her attire. She donned a silken black robe that immediately piqued his curiosity. He was nervous before but hoped she would welcome him in.

She moved and gestured for him to join her. He entered turning to face her as she closed the door. No words were said, no words were needed. The passion they had for each other was evident. They had danced around this moment since her arrival, studying each other at every opportunity.

She walked backwards as he approached, her movements were stopped by the wall behind her. He looked in her eyes searching for her approval as she combed her fingers through his hair, then traced them along his cheek. He relished the experience.

He closed their distance as she untied her robe allowing it to drift to the floor. He was overwhelmed by the sight of her. His clothing alone kept them from completing their connection. He removed his pants effortlessly while their skin made contact.

They had never been this close. She gasped uncontrollably from the feel of him as his fingers graced her cheek and his thumb mapped her lips. He kissed her longingly and caressed her thigh as she raised it to offer him access.

Her hands moved eagerly to find what she desired. He moaned into their kiss when she reached her destination. Her touch was unlike anything he had ever experienced. He felt powerful yet vulnerable all at once.

His hand wandered her as she guided him to their purpose. Neither were prepared for the feeling of pure pleasure when they finally joined together. The kiss deepened while moans and labored breathing filled the room as they continued their course.

Each clench from her body fueled his desires. The sound of her, the feel of her, the warmth of her, no one could have prepared him for tonight.

Every movement, every touch kept her wanting. Her fingers stroked his hair and traced his cheek as she quivered with each wave that rushed through her body. She had never encountered such prowess.

His grip on her thigh tightened as she clasped his hair. His control began to waver as she moaned into him. Her sensuality was intoxicating.

He moaned deeply as he gripped her harder causing a gasp to escape her lips. Their movements hastened as they were overcome with pleasure. The wall cracked as they reached their peak together.

They paused reeling from their first encounter. She touched his cheek as they kissed. Their breathing was labored and their bodies were spent, but they both yearned for more. She straddled him as he lifted and carried her to the bed…it was only the beginning.

She smiled at the fond memory. "I could never forget that night."

"Good. That means you have it any time you need it."

She raised an eyebrow. "How often do you-"

"Every day." He responded quickly.

She smirked. "Every day?"

"Yeah. Do you know how hard it's been to have you so far away. I think of so many of our times together. It helps."

She nodded in understanding and smiled. "There were many. I think I'll do the same. I'd like to talk about them too. If that's okay."

He leaned forward and grinned mischievously. "We can start now."

They continued until they both grew tired, comforting each other in the process. They eventually bid each other goodnight, but sleep would never come.
