I was in Hub City.

I had located Roy.

I walked into the auto shop.

"Jason, you got a visitor."

He slid out from underneath a car.

It was Roy.

The other worker walked away.

"Can we talk?"

"Yeah."

"In private?"

"Of course."

He led me through the auto shop.

Roy led me into the office.

"So, what brings you here?"

"Thea."

"Is she okay?"

"Yeah."

"Good."

"I know you slept with Thea. When we all thought she was gonna die."

He looked down.

"I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to offend your Sister."

"I know."

"Good."

Roy sighed.

"She got pregnant, Roy."

"What?"

"Yeah."

"Isn't she with Alex?"

"Thea doesn't wanna be with Alex. She wants to be with you."

"Mm."

He looked down.

"So, you think I'm worthy of her?"

"No. I don't."

Roy looked down.

"But I think you can be. If you man up. Do what you're supposed to do. Be a man."

He nodded his head.

"Do not leave that baby without a father."

"Of course not."

"I missed you, bro."

"Missed you too, Oliver."

We hugged.

I broke the hug.

"But I do have to talk to you."

"Okay."

"So, we were trying to stop Damien Darhk from escaping from Prison. It was Thea, Laurel, Dig, and me. Dig and me were in a frozen State. He was being a sexist. And because Darhk was very angry that Lance testified against him. He wanted to take it out on Laurel."

"Okay."

"But Thea stepped in front of Laurel at the last second. He stabbed her through the gut with an arrow."

Roy gasped.

"She had surgery. She's fine. The baby is fine. Everything is fine. She spent a month in the Bunker."

"Thank God."

"Come back with me."

"To Star City?"

"Yeah."

"Of course."

"And stay there."

"Sounds good."

"Okay."

"Just let me grab my stuff?"

"Of course."

Roy

I went back to my apartment.

I was putting my stuff all back in the duffel bags.

Oliver was standing outside.

He was leaning against my Red Charger.

"You weren't taking "No" for an answer, were you?"

"No."

I laughed.

Malcolm

Thea and Alex were talking.

"I have feelings for somebody else. And I thought I was over him. But I'm not."

"The guy who keeps choosing to leave you? The penguin?"

"You called me a "Penguin?"

Thea threw her arms around Roy.

He wrapped his arms around her.

"So glad to see you're okay."

"You know?"

"Yeah."

"How much?"

"All that was released to the public. Which is that Speedy was stabbed through the gut with an arrow."

"You're making a mistake going back to him, Thea."

"No, I'm not."

They kissed.

Thea pulled Roy into the elevator.

"So much to discuss, babe."

Oliver and me joined them.

"I thought this guy was against you."

I looked back at him.

"Take that as a "No."

"Take that as a "Sometimes."

Laurel and Roy hugged.

Diggle and him hugged.

Felicity and Roy hugged.

"See you're up and walking again."

"Yeah, I am. Technology is pretty advanced."

"I know."

"Good."

"But it's terrible when the power goes out, right?"

She chuckled.

Thea sighed.

"But only an explosion can knock it offline."

"Good to know."

"So, stay out of the way of explosions in the field."

Oliver laughed.

Thea

Roy and me were sitting on the bed in the Bunker.

"So, what really happened? What story doesn't the public know?"

"Um... The arrow nicked my spinal cord too."

He stared.

"Also one of Andy's bullets pierced through the Kevlar and into my chest. It traveled up to my trachea."

"That explains how you're talking without actually moving your lips."

"I had to. It was the only way to be able to talk."

"Yeah."

"Um... Curtis designed an implantable bio-stimulant. Another one. I started walking about two weeks after it was implanted. I was back to going out in the field two weeks later."

Roy sighed.

We laid down together.

His head was on my stomach.

Malcolm

I went to find Thea and Roy.

I found them.

They were sleeping on the bed in the Bunker.

His head was on her stomach.

Thea's hand was on the back of Roy's head.

Oliver joined me.

He smiled.

"I know. She's growing up, Malcolm."

"Yeah."

"Let's let her sleep. She hasn't been sleeping well. I think it's nightmares." Laurel told us.

"What?"

"Yeah."

"Nightmares?"

"I think it's from when Darhk stabbed her."

"Thea hasn't had nightmares in two years. The last time she woke up screaming was a few nights after Mom's murder."

"Well, she went through a traumatic experience."

"If you suggest putting Thea in therapy again, I swear on your boyfriend's grave, I will knock your ass out."

She put her hands up.

"I do think it will help her, Ollie."

"Queens do not do therapy."

"Neither do Merlyns. Trust me- I've tried to get Tommy to go to therapy to finally grieve Rebecca the right way. It didn't go very well."

"See?"

"You rich people are so full of yourselves. That's what I see."

Laurel walked away.

Oliver rolled his eyes.

"Have you even considered that Thea has PTSD?"

"Not you too."

"Oliver, it's not about what you want. It's about what's best for Thea."

"I'll ask her. I'll talk to her about it. Don't worry about it."

Dig

Oliver had put Andy in the cell in the Bunker when he tried to give Darhk another piece of the Idol.

Laurel sat down.

"Why does he have to be so difficult?"

"Which one?"

"Both of them."

"What now?"

"Thea has PTSD from the stabbing. And Ollie isn't doing anything to help her."

Malcolm

"I can try talking to Thea if it'll help." It was Diggle.

"I think I need to talk to her first. But then you can."

"Okay."

"Okay."

He walked away.

"The only way it works between Thea and me- Open and honest communication."

"Yeah."

"She gets very angry if she finds out I was hiding something from her."

He motioned to me.

"Yeah."

A few hours later

You heard Thea screaming.

"Shh. Shh."

Oliver and me were running over there.

"It's just a dream, Thea. Dreams can't hurt you."

Thea

"Give us some time alone, Roy and Malcolm."

"Yeah."

Roy and Malcolm walked away.

Ollie sat next to me.

Oliver

"Talk to me. Please."

"It was when Darhk stabbed me."

"Uh-huh."

"I just keep remembering Mom's death. And then Ra's stabbing me through the chest with a sword."

"Thea, I think you need to go to therapy."

"No."

"Yes. It's PTSD."

"No!"

"You saw somebody you love die right in front of your eyes. You've been stabbed twice in the past year. It's traumatic, Thea. Even I would need therapy after the year you've had."

"Will you go with me?"

"Yeah. Of course."

"I don't want to go alone."

"I know."

I wrapped an arm around her.

Thea broke down.

"I just want to get better."

"I know you do."

"Does it ever get better?"

"What?"

"Their sacrifices."

"It takes a long time. It doesn't ever go away. But it numbs."

She nodded her head.

"It will get better with a lot of time, Speedy."

I wrapped Thea in my arms.

"You gotta be on your A game for this little girl."

"Yeah."

"Cause she's gonna need you for everything."

"Yeah."

"Because that guy is not gonna be much help."

She laughed.

"Probably not. But it's not a horrible sight to look at everyday."

I laughed.
