So If you are wondering what Nick of Time is about it is a book about a 12 year old boy named Nick McIver who has a time machine and lives with his parents and younger sister Kate but called by her brother and parents Katie. Kate calls her brother Nicky. Nick also has a dog named Jip. And Nazis are invading! So, hope you like it. Nick was on his sloop his father built for him when a big storm came. Nick suddenly found a potion that said Underwater Breathing. He then heard a call from his sister Kate "Big wave!" Nick then called over "Katie, I found a potion that let's you breathe underwater!" Kate then ran over. Nick drank some of it and then gave it to Kate and then the wave burst in and both of them fell off and Kate said "Nicky, I couldn't drink any of it!" as they landed in the water. They then sank to the bottom. Suddenly they saw a yellow sponge say "Hi! I'm Spongebob Squarepants!" Nick then introduced himself and Kate and then explained what's going on. Spongebob then said "Nick! Your sister is losing consciousness!" Nick then said "Hold on, Katie!" Spongebob then said "Follow me!" Nick then followed Spongebob with Kate in his arms. Spongebob then said "We're here!" Spongebob then put on a water helmet of himself and Nick and burst inside. "Sandy, we have to save a human!" Nick sat beside Katie on a chair as Sandy used one of her inventions to get the water out. Kate then woke up and saw her brother smiling at her along with the sponge they just met. "Hey!" Nick said. "How many inventions have made Sandy?" "Tons! And, Nick your sister is lucky to get here as soon as she did!" "So, why are you underwater with a dome of air?" Kate then asked Sandy "Well, little one I came down here to study underwater life!" "Hey you can come jellyfishing with me!" said Spongebob. Kate then said "You do know I have to breathe air, right?" Sandy then said "I have an invisible collar that let's you breathe underwater. So Kate tried it on. "We can go jellyfishing." Kate then said. A few minutes later. "So that's how you jellyfish!" said Spongebob. Nick and Kate then tried it out and loved it. Spongebob then saw an anchor and explained why it's bad. "Seriously? A ghost? I'll believe it when I see it." Just then the Flying Dutchman came out and when Nick and Kate saw it Kate screamed in fear. Nick then said to his sister "Don't worry Katie. Maybe he'll not harm us." Nick then held Katie's hand to make her calm again. "I am the Flying Dutchman! I need a crew to scare people!" Kate then clung to her brother and said "Nicky! We're never gonna be free from that ghost!" Spongebob then said "Never give up!" "Square one be a navigator! Pink one take the helm! Kids, I decided you're gonna be my food!" "Not in front of Katie!" Spongebob and Nick yelled to the Flying Dutchman. The Flying Dutchman then locked them in his cabin. "Oh, Nicky," Kate sobbed. "Are we gonna get eaten?" Nick then said "I don't have my Tempus Machina." Kate then shaked with fear and said "Hope is lost." Nick said " Katie. Remember what Spongebob said before the Flying Dutchman kidnapped us? He said never give up." Spongebob then called over "Nick, Katie! Ram the door and break it open!" They did manage it and with Spongebob and Patrick they jumped off and got to Jellyfish Fields safely. Spongebob said " My boss is hiring extra frycooks in the Krusty Krab!" So they took the job.
