"Well, this is goodbye." said Spongebob. Sandy had made a submarine that could get them to Nick's sloop. Spongebob had made two new friends and they were already leaving. He shakes Nick and Kate's hands and then Sandy made them able to breathe air again. Spongebob then said "Nick, Katie, you wouldn't believe this but you are book characters. See?" Spongebob said holding up the book Nick of Time. " There's also the sequel The Time Pirate where the evil pirate kidnaps Kate but you rescued her Nick with your time machine!" Kate said "I really hated that pirate kidnapping me." Nick replied "I bet you did." Nick and Kate then stepped in the submarine and then it went up. Spongebob had a few tears. Nick and Kate found Nick's sloop and then Nick said "Time to sail home!"
