The Front Line Season 01 Episode 01
We see a man in a spider web patterned costume on top of a building and pulled one of the vents off climbing throuth while sticking to the cieling watching what's going on around them. One of the people there had left and the remaining three had began speaking in a language that the spider themed spy couldn't understand. They'd moved something big and then took something from the wall behind it before going to the elevator.
The three had put the device onto the reciever part of a large dish and it melted itself down into the tech as they then hear someone saying "I doubt that modification is legal." and two of them had been webbed up making them fall over onto the dish. "You should have stuck to your desk jobs."
the woman of the group starts to attack them but he'd managed to dodge and punched them knocking them back against the dish reciever as the other two in the web slid out by making thier boddies thinner and had made something in the guy's brain go off as he'd turned and was knocked from the suspension that kept the reciever from touching the dish and webbed the bottom of the suspension swinging forwards and back onto where the other three were stainding.
A man in a black and purple costume with a cape who had white flames for hair and blue skin questions "Need a hand here?" flating down to the spider themed individual.
"oh by all means, just try not to damage the dish." Answered the spider costumed guy gesturing for them to go for it.
"Thanks." The blue skinned one answered back before going to blast at them but something had caused his head to start hurting sending him strange images.
The three set off a detonator and sent the spider guy's brain into overdrive as he'd ran jumping at the blue skinned individual grabbing them and webbing the side of the dish with the two then being blown back mid swing as the whole thing blew up sending them sliding down the hill.
"Ow, that's so not coming out of my pay. You okay?" The Spider guy spoke asking the other one if they were alright and helping them up.
"I am now, shame my head was in so much pain, if I could have concentrated I could have just phased us through the explosion. Name's Dan Phantom by the way." The blue skinned man stated telling the spider themed guy his name in the process calling himself Dan.
"Spider-Man." The spider themed guy then stated telling him his own name as well. "Any idea about what's going on here?"
"Mind explaining what's going on?" Dan then questioned Spider-Man who nodded in response.
"Over the past couple of weeks the Plumbers have noticed breaches in the deep space monitoring equipment for earth and asked me to investigate." Spide-rMan answered him about what they were doing.
We then see a senitor giving a speech which we catch the tail end of saying that they should turn over defense of this world to Ben 10 while Ben himself then began to walk down the steps of the UN gathering room and stood in front of them all as everyone quieted down.
"You seriously wanna entrust the world to one man?" The US general questions as Ben walked over towards the podium.
"I completely understand your feelings general, when senator Carter approached me with this idea I thought he was an idiot. But after speaking with him and his representatives, I can confirm that they aboslutely are an idiot. However that being said I'd like to say that the Plumbers will continue to work alongside all of you to make this planet a better place." Ben spoke up saying he and the plumbers would continue to work with them all.
Meanwhile Spider-Man had tracked the three that had escaped previously and watched as they'd left a room and the warehous going in and using the spider signal as a flashlight to look around discovering pods with the people inside them.
"Eww, talk about invasion of the body snatchers." The wallcrawler spoke using a screwdrive that was left out to stab into the pod and cut through it slitting it down far enough for the guy to fall out of it. He'd checked their pulse and says "Alive, thankfully." and jumped as a dog slammed into the wall damaging it thanks to his spider sense warning him of danger.
The dog then changed into a strange beast and attacked him going up the wall though Spidey was able to dodge it and grabbed it by the tail swinging it into a pole that was nearby. Meanwhile Ben's Omnitrix had been set off and he'd tracked the signal finding Spider-Man who seemed exhaused saying "Bout time you got here, I used my badge to send out a distress because of, well, that." the webslinger stated gesturing to the downed beast stuck under the rubble.
Just then the two had seen a meteor crashing down and went to investigate it discovering some sort of tripod thing coming out of it and blasting a laser at a cop car. Ben changed into Fourarms and went to attack it but was caught in the beam and blasted into the street with people wondering if he's okay.
Dan had joined the battle and blasted it with his ghost ray as Spider-Man had began to dodged around keeping the things attention as the half ghost hero began to phase through to find out wha'ts making that thing tick. Though Two more appeared as Ben had gotten up and hit the dial changing into Gravattack and began to make the three tripods float into the air. with one hand and began to try to crush them down with the other like a giant compactor.
Dan had gone to attack again but dropped to the ground with the images and such flashing around their head. "Yo Dan you alright?" Spider-Man questioned jumping down to him and helping the guy up. "Ya, I'm okay, and.. and I know how find out how to stop those things. C'mon!" before flying off.
"Right, I'll just.. Fly and.." The webslinger spoke sarcasitically and Ben hit the Omnitrix dropping the three tripods onto the ground and changed into Terraspin and flown over towards the wallcralwer.
"Get on." Terraspin spoke with Spidey jumping onto their back as the two had flown off after Dan since he had some sort of idea of what was going on.
The Plumbers all began to battle the walking tripods and were fairing better than the earth militaries have been managing. Even groups like the Forever Knights have gotten involved in this one to help out as well, alongside both the Huntik Foundation and the Organization. Heroes from across the world were doing what they could as well.
Meanwhile Terraspin and Spider-Man had found where Dan had gottne off to discovering more pods as they'd gone to find where Dan had gotten off to. and found him blasting at a door with Terraspin saying "Allow me." before hitting the watch and changing into Atomix and broke thorugh the door.
"What's so important in here that could help us against those things?" Spidey questioned and Dan gestured to another door wich Atomix busted through.
"Not what, who." Dan stated and gestured to an alien that had been captured and he went to unlock them as the alien dropped with the half ghost catching them saying "I got ya." keeping them from hitting the floor. "He's been reaching out to me telepathically but the stasis interfered."
"Okay so what's he doing here?" Ben then questioned why he was there at all having changed back to human already to conserve power.
'The invasion.' The green skinned man spoke inside their heads 'I came to warn you but was captured and imprisoned here. They did not believe me.'
"Big surprise there." Dan spoke aloud helping the green man up. "Government thinks they know better than everyone else, and always screw it up somehow."
'Perhaps this will help ease the tension.' The Green one mentally spoke to them changing his form so that he appeared more humanoid wearing a type of costume that would pass for hero attire and held out his hand towards Ben to shake it saying out loud "My name is J'onn Jo'nzz. I tried to reach out for anyone that would reconize a martian's mental touch and found this one." while gesturing to Dan.
"Ben10, the one you were able to get to there is Dan Phantom, and this is Spider-Man." Ben told them shaking their hand and they'd gone to leave together being told by a general to hold it.
"Plumber's outrank the military, he's coming with us." Spider-Man told them showing his badge telling them that he was going with them.
"No one is going anywhere." The general spoke revealing he was an alien that was of the same form of that of the tripods but smaller and humanoid.
We then cut to a robed figure walking to a golden statue where there were silver bracelets with a red and gold leotard and boots along with a golden belt and headband and a gold rope. "Mother forgive me." A dark haired woman speaks taking the things from where they were sitting on the statue.
We then cut back to the other four as they'd been fighting the creatures and J'onn says "We need something bright, the brighter the better!"
"If that's the case I got this one." Ben spoke hititng the watch and changing into Atomix again before calling out "Try a little fusion Cuisine!" creating an orb of light that had been nearly like a mini sun and caused the creates to back off while bubbling in pain and melting into goo.
A plane overhead had appeared and someone called out "GET ON!" to them all which they'd done so and began to fly off and we see that it was a blond guy that was older than Spider-Man but younger than the other three.
"Who are you?" Spider-Man then questioned who exactly this guy was that was helping them out.
"My name is Lok, I've been helping out the plumbers on occaion. There was strange magical readings coming from this location and so I came to check it out discovering Ben and the rest of you here." The blond then explained to them who he was and what he was doing there.
"That may be me, perhaps there is residual from the martains Magic we used to seal those things away, but after one of your.. astronauts as you call them opened the chamber I and those things were released." J'onn explained to them about what they could have been. "There's more coming."
They look through the window and see them coming after them and Dan grabbed Atomix phasing the two of them out so that they could fight the aircrafts that the aliens were using blasting them with lasers and punching through them along with phasing their hand inside and pulling out the pilot throwing them away and letting the plane crash into another one.
Most of the plane had broken off but there were a few still attacking as a woman with birdlike wings and an electrified mace appeared and bashed the wing of one of the ships. They'd continued doing this while Lok found someplace safe to land and gone to thelp the others with his eyes flashing purple as he'd swung the sword on is back cutting one of the ships in half.
"Let's go, Powerbonded Kipperin!" Lok called out summoning a green and gold mothlike creature that wrapped itself around him like a costume allowing him to flight and to fight better.
"Right, I'll just.. um.. be here if you need me." Spider-Man called out awkwardly looking to the side and finding some debris from the ships and picked up one of the pieces throwing it at one that was coming towards him making it impale the wing and downing it before continuing to state "Alright, that works at least."
The girl with bird wings was hit and knocked onto a cliffs edge as we see the woman who'd worn the cloak now wearing everything that they'd had in front of them on the statue and said "Allow me." and began to deflect the attacks from the lasers being shot out at them. She'd deflected some of the attacks and made them hit the aircraft which had began to crash with Dan flying down in front of them and creating a ghost shield big enough to block the thing from striking them.
They'd finally gotten them taken out and landed back down with Spider-Man who questions "So where'd you come from?" speaking to the dark haired woman.
"Themyscira." The woman answered which had made Spidey show a confused look even with the mask covering his face.
"It's the home of the amazons, though I thought it was a myth." The woman with bird wings spoke flying down with the others.
"I assure you that it's as real as the ground we stand upon. I am Diana princess of the Amazons." The woman in the red outfit spoke introducing herself.
"Y'know I met a group of amazons once, they made their homes in a jungle instead of on and island though." Lok told them stating that he also knew of amazons.
"Themyscira was protected by the gods but I could not stand idly by while the rest of the world was in danger." Diana then stated to them saying she came to help.
"Well it was lucky you came when you did." Spider-Man stated to them before looking to the girl with bird wings asking "What's your story?"
"We should all explain our stories while we have the time." Jo'nn told them saying that everyone should explain who they were to one another.
After everyone had got aquantied Jo'nn had been the last to tell his story stating "We first encountered them on Mars more than one thousand of your earth years ago. I came to try to warn you all but was captured by them, and you all know the rest. With all the Martians gone the invaders no longer had anything to feed upon and set thier sights on Earth."
"I'll check the ALDB and ask around if there's any Martians that might have relocated with the help of the plumbers once this is over." Ben told them stating they'd see if there was any information he could give J'onn about his species since he'd been trapped for so long.
"I thank you for that Ben, but I fear I may be the last of my kind. The invaders must have tried to sabatage the Earth's Defenses to make it easer to take over." The Martian stated to them about the invaders attacking earth.
"That must be why they tried to take out the dish." The walcrawler spoke hearing all this with the Martian nodding in agreement.
"This is Magister Ben calling all Earth Station Plumbers, switch to high impact weaponry and solar irradiation tech. Best to use fusion grenades and Sunguns to handle this threat." Ben spoke into his badge with the Plumbers switiching out the tech having an easeir time to fight them now.
