The Front Line Season 01 Episode 03
We see a new ship appearing as it had flown through a heavy ocean storm and they'd dove into the waters below as we cut to Ben along with Dan and Wonder Woman inside of the ship as Dan spoke up saying "Come in USS Defiant, the Front Line are headed your way to help." telling the downed vessel that they'd gone to help that help was on the way.
"We've locked onto their distress beacon, we're getting close." Wonder Woman stated checking the tracking equipment.
"Seems you're learning fast, but we aren't the only ones." Ben praised before poingting out someone else had appeared too and gestured to a much larger vessel saying "Look, we've got company."
The bigger ship had started to fire on them while Dan says "Not for long." and begins to manuver around the attacks and had the first ship get stuck before saying "Lost them." though two more ships appeared ahead of them.
"You were saying?" Ben questioned taking a breathing device from their ship and hands it to Diana saying "We gotta take those guys down fast, Dan find a place to land out of sight and then come help us take them down." With the half ghost hero nodding in response.
Ben hit the dial and changed into Ripjaws as he and Diana went off into the water dodging around the enemy's shots before then ripping the guns apart with Dan then coming over after getting their ship someplace safe and he used his ghost ray to carve out a line in one of the ships.
Diana then got to one side of the damaged ship while Ripjaws got to the other ship and he then calls "Push!" with the two then forcing the ships to crash into one another as they'd done so.
Dan then blasted the two ships and caused them to explode while those that were inside of it had swam to get to safety. The three headed towards the downed sub but someone called out "Hault!" as a group of people on tech like that of the downed ships they just beat only a lot smaller appeared and the blond one holding a trident says "You have violated the soverign borders of Atlantis. Leave at once or you will be destroyed."
Dan and Ripjaws then look at one aother before back at the Blond and then proceed to stifel their laughter being more amused by this guy than threatened but didn't want to show it. "Please, we merely were responding to a distress signal." Wonder Woman told them gesturing to the sub they were trying to get to.
"They should have stayed upon the surface where they belong." The blond told them in response and tried to control Ripjaws who just gave him a strange look.
"Serioulsy, would you just move? We're trying to save lives here. Those people will drown if we don't help them." Ripjaws Stated as the blond's ability to control water dwelling creature seemed to have no effect on him.
"Very well strange creature, you may take the crew. However, the vessel stays where it is." The Blond then told them and Ripjaws gave a mock salute and went to help the crew of the ship alongside Dan and Diana.
"Your Magesty why would you not simply have their water creature destroy the other two?" One of the men questioned the Blond who was in charge.
"It is immune to my Telepathic commands." The man stated as we cut to the three as Diana had gotten their ship from where Dan had told her it was hidden and both Dan and Ripjaws were getting the people to safety until there wasn't anyone left on the sub.
"Alright that's the last of them, time to surface." Ripjaws stated as they'd gotten the last of the crew onto their own ship and they'd left the sub behind.
"Escor them to the surface." The Blond told some of his men who'd gone to do that and Dan had noticed phasing out of the ship while the other had flown off.
"Y'know you could have avoided all of this." Dan then states to the blond telling him this didn't have to be the way it is. "Come to the United Nations and air your greievances there."
"You would have me crawl to them like some lowly begger?" The Blond questions him hearing what Dan had said.
"No, go and stand before them like a King. And for the record, Atlanteans do not own everything that's under water just because it's there." The half ghost answered back before flying off giving them something to consider.
We then cut to later as Ben was on confrence stating "Look I get your concern but I also don't care. The important thing is that we've saved people's lives."
Dan however was standing next to Diana and J'onn and the half ghost states "I get why he's worried but one sub for the lives of over thirty people, seems like a fair trade to me."
"Aquaman's just trying to do what's right for his people." J'onn stated to them as Den looked out at the planet below.
"Still I can't help but wonder just what they're going to do with the sub. I'm gonna go check it out." Dan states before then heading off.
We then see Dan had gone invisible and intangible phasing through everything without being noticed and found that the sub had been scavanged and all the nuclear bits in the sub were gone before overhearing something he probably shouldn't have.
"Wulf. I need a special portal now!" He'd whispered into the communicator device in his ear and a portal had been torn open that'd get Dan to the Team Phantom Base. "Alright I need a portal to the UN Embacy."
"Aperos unu portalo por la ambasado de Unuiĝintaj Nacioj." Wulf spoke and clawed open another portal in front of them for him speaking Esperanto as he does so.
"Dankon Wulf mi esperas, ke mi ne tro malfrue." Dan spoke back thanking Wulf for the portal and flies through it to try to help them.
We then cut back to the Front Line's watchtower base where Spider-Man had arrived and says "Alright so what's going on again? Fish guy claims he owns the world's oceans and now we gotta go deal with that right?"
"Something like that, but Aquaman isn't down there at the moment." Lok stated gesuring to the news on the telvision with the broadcaster saying that Aquaman forced his way into a closed assembly at the united nations building.
We then see Aquaman had told them "These are my terms, any inconveniencing is your problem." as the others showed up to talk with him.
"You're Aquaman right, question. I've been to Atlantis there was no one there but a guardian created by magic, well him and the Oracle who chose to stay." Lok spoke up asking why he'd never met them before since he'd been to atlanstis.
"And where is this Atlantis that you speak of?" Aquaman questioned the man having never seen him before today.
"Just off the coast of Agean Sea in Greece past the ruins of the Temple of Posidon." He'd answered back about where that was exactly.
"You mean the ruins of the old Seeker stronghold. We've long since moved to a new location." Aquaman stated and walked past everyone stating that that wasn't where the Atlantis he's from is exactly as he'd left.
The reporters all tried to bother him but Aquaman pushed his way past and went to leave unknowingly being aimed at as an assailant had fired out a rocket at him causing it to blow upon impact and we see that Aquaman had been downed and struggled to get up. With reports saying that Members of the Front Line had taken them to get medical attention at a plumber's medical facility.
We then see that they'd had Aquaman in a specialized healing tank specifically filled with artifical Saltwater that was no different than that of the ocean that he'd come from. "Is he going to be alright?" Diana questioned and we see two little grey alien froglike creatures checking everything.
"If we maintain saline as is there's a good chance he'll recover." The fat one spoke up as they'd hooked Aquaman to the monitoring equipment.
"He's already starting to recover according to the monitors." The other one spoke up saying that he'd hopefully make it okay.
"Are you sure we can trust these guys?" Diana questioned as the two had walked off arguing about lunch once Aquaman was recovering properly.
"Trust me, they may not look it but Blukic and Driba are some of the best tech guys on the Plumber's earth branch." Ben told her in response.
Once it was just them in the room J'onn says "You can come out now." though the others didn't know what he was talking about.
"Finally, doing alright Your Majesty?" Dan then questioned as Aquaman opened his eyes revealing he was never unconcious.
"Yes, thanks to you." Aquaman stated as the others were unsure of the situation at hand. "Your friend Dan here grabbed me at the last second before the explosion hit and protected me from it saying he'd explain everything once it was safe but to pretend to have been hit by the explosion."
"While I was checking out the sub I found it stripped of the plutonium and most of the other stuff as well. I overheared something about a hit on the king from one of the men speaking and so made my way to the UN as fast as possible." Dan explained to them about that.
"So now the question is, who's the hired gun?" Lok questioned once they had the whole picture of what's going on.
"That's what we gotta find out, and I've got an idea if you're willing to help Aquaman?" Ben spoke saying he's got an idea of what to do to find the hired gun.
"If it will reveal who took a shot at me and who they are working for I will cooperate." The Atlantean answered back.
We then cut to outside where a reporter had said that Aquaman was being moved from the hospital into an unnamed marine biology research lab for further treatment as the team had prepared for what's to come and they watch as Aquaman was being taken out of the hospital in a stretcher. The gunman tried to shoot at them again but was stopped when Spider-Man webbed the gun and jerked it up out of their hands.
"Hope you weren't planning on using this." Spidey then stated to the gunman who'd tried to shoot at him though he'd dodged it removed the grenade from the laucher before disarming it.
The gunman tried to run off but was stopped by Fourarms who'd grabbed them as they were sprinting away and slammed them into the wall revealing was an alien bounty hunter in pruple and black armor.
"SevenSeven." Fourarms spoke as the Alien began to try to shoot at him but he'd ripped their weapons off of the armor with the alien shouting at him in a language most of them didn't understand.
We then see Aquaman saying "This is taking too long." While sitting in a room going stircrazy and finally he'd gotten up to leave punching Lok in the face to get him out of the way as he does so.
We then jump to the other interrogating SevenSeven as he speaks in a language that Ben seemed to understand though the others, not so much. The Bounty Hunter had gestured to his vehicle where they'd had gold poking out and they'd discovered it was Spanish Doubloons. "We've gotta warn aquaman." Fourams states seeing the coins SevenSeven was paid with.
"You're too late." Someone spoke up and they see Lok flying down using Powerbonded Kipperin like a superhero costume.
We then see Aquamn storming into the throne room calling "ORM! I left Specific instructions and you've dilibrately diobeyed them. I'll have no more of this arrest the traitor!" He'd told them all though the Guards didn't bother moving.
With a Smirk Orm says "You heard him." and the guards pointed their weapons at Aquaman instead.
