The Front Line Season 01 Episode 07
We see that there was a hurricane happening and a fire truck had crashed due to the weather as Wonder Woman had used her lasso to slow the descent of the emergency vehicle along with J'onn who'd had the front end of it and the two got it safely to the ground. Diana had then heard a girl calling for their mother and she'd flown over to the tree that was being uprooted by the massive winds that the girl was in.
"Don't worry I've got you." Wonder Woman spoke carrying the girl down to a woman that called out to them.
"Cassie, I'm so glad you're okay." The woman spoke calling the little girl by name while picking her up glad to see that she was alright. "You shouldn't have run off like that it almost scared me to death worrying about you."
"I'm sorry." The little girl spoke as the two of them went back inside leaving Diana there watching them and seeming to be distracted.
One of the street lights was coming loose and J'onn went over moving Diana out of the way saying "You're ususually more careful than that. I don't need to be a mind reader to tell that something is wrong."
"I dunno it's just, my mother used to say the planets revolved aorund me and would call me her moon and stars. I left Themyscira against her wishes." Diana answered about what'd been on her mind a moment ago.
"Perhaps you should go back and set things right with them." The martian suggested to his friend who didn't seem so sure.
"Perhaps, but what would I even say to them?" She'd questioned how she could even explain it to her mother about her leaving.
"Perhaps the truth, the imperium would have wiped out the whole planet including that of Themyscira." J'onn answered back about what she might do. "All threats to the planet also threaten your Island home."
"I suppose your right, thank you." She spoke and began to fly off to go and do what she'd felt she needed to do.
We then see that Wonder Woman was using a Javeline ship to get back to her island home and practicing what she'd say to her mother when she'd spotted large fires aroudn her island home and went down to get a closer look discovering that everyone had been turned to stone making her even more worried about having been gone.
"Mother." She'd spoken to herself and ran into one of the buildings where the throne room would be at moving through the rubble and finding her mom also having been turned to stone. "NO! I should have been here to help, I should have.." She'd began to say sliding onto her knees and seen someone approaching on the reflection of a polished shield and throwing it at them.
"Harm me and the others will remain as they are." The person spoke revealing they were a man who'd done all this. "My name is Faust, Felix Faust. I am a humble student of the mystic arts and came here seeking knowledge."
"Why did you attack my sisters?" Wonder Woman demanded angry at what he'd done to the other Amazonians of the island.
"They left me no choice, I had to defend myself." Felix stated to her about what he was after. "I came here seeking ultimate knowledge, to gain it I had to find a piece of an ancient sacred relic. The first piece of which was located here on this island. I'll make you a deal, if you help me get the other fragments I'll restore everyone on this Island that I've turned to stone."
"And why should I believe you?" She'd demanded and in response Felix made a stone disk appear in his hand that had Medusa's face on it.
"A small demonstration to prove I can do as I say." He'd then told her pointing it at Diana's mother restoring her from the stone curse.
"Mother!" Wonder Woman called out running over to her mom who'd looked surprised to see her but also happy.
"Diana, Athena must have heard my prayers and sent you." Her mom spoke happy to see her daughter had come back.
Before more could be said Felix then made her turn to stone once more. "Now answer, will you help me?" He'd questioned Diana making the disk vanish again.
"What kind of Man are you?" She'd demanded to know while he simply straighened up his outfit.
"A practical one." Felix stated making an hourglass appear and spun it until it stopped so that the sands would begin to pour out slowly into the other side. "You've got twenty four hours or else your mother and the others will be like this forever. These stones are intuned with each fragment's enegries they will lead the way." He'd then handed her three red stones.
Diana leaves on the ship and his a communications button asking "Ben, what can you tell me about a man named Felix Faust? He claims he's a sorcerer."
Ben ran the information and responds "There's nothing on them in the plumber records though I've got some friends that may be able to give you more information later, let me contact them and I'll see what we come up with."
"Thanks, I gotta go something just came up." Diana spoke into the com as one of the stones began to flash and she'd turned towards where it had been leading her off to.
Diana had gone to a museum of sorts and accidentally set off an alarm while going for the shard that she was after and all the exits were sealed as she'd broken the urn it was in and picked up the thing inside questioning "Why would Faust want this?"
A statue had come to life and began to fight with Diana over the piece that she'd taken which she'd dodged the blade of and tried to use her lasso to pull it down though it had pulled her over to it and punched her into a wall. The statue had managed to take the piece and Diana went to try to pry their hand open.
"Give that back, I must have it to save my mother and sisters!" She'd demanded trying to force it open though it knocked her into the alter and made it break apart falling on top of her and then went to stab at the rubble turning to leave when nothing happened.
Wonder Woman had moved the pillar on top of her calling "I am Diana princess of the Amazons, I won't be denied!" and thrown the pillar at the statue and began to bash the statue apart when the pillar caused a crack in the stone bringing the roof down in the process.
"Diana, what's going on here?" Spider-Man called out coming into the museum wanting to know what's up exactly.
"This is not your concern Spider-Man." She'd stated to him taking the first piece of the artifiact from the remains of the statues hands.
"When my friends start treaing up museums it start to become my concern." Spider-Man stated to her about making it his problem. "I've already called in the others, when they get here they'll want an explination."
We then cut to later when Dan had arrive along with Lok and J'onn too and Diana had been explaining everything. "Of course I don't trust the Faust guy, but what else can I do exactly?"
"I say we just go kick this wannabe sorcerer's butt." Spider-Man suggested about what they should be doing.
"No, Men are forbidden from ever seeing foot on Themyscira." Wonder Woman stated to them about what's going on.
"Well someone should have told him that then." The Wallcralwer spoke in response to what she'd just said. "Still, it's only Men that aren't allowed right?"
"Yes, but what exactly are you thinking?" She'd then questioned what was going through his head at that moment.
"How about taking Ghost Spider with you, she's had her powers almost as long as I have, and you can take Hawkgirl too." He'd answered back as Dan seemed to be thinking about something as was Lok.
"I could name a whole group of girls that could help out too though I dunno if they'd be able to with everything going on with their lives." Lok then stated saying he knows some girls that could help aslo.
"As could I." Dan then added in saying he also knew female heroes that could help Diana out too if she wanted.
"I believe Ben is married to a powerful sorceress as well." J'onn stated saying that Ben's wife was also versed in magic from what he'd heard.
"We'll see who all can help you get the rest of the relics on short notice and have them join." Lok then spoke and immediately began to get into contact with the ones he knows as Dan and Spider-Man both did the same as well.
We then see that Gwen Tennyson was working alongside Danielle Phantom as they'd laned somewhere around a pyramid of sorts and the former says "Remember we gotta find the relic here."
Danielle however says "No problem." And takes the crystal flying in and phasing through everything before coming out at showing that she had the urn it was hidden in stating "See, easy." however a large snake burst from the groun breathing fire at them.
"You were saying?" Gwen questioned putting up a shield and had thrown orbs or energy at the reptile.
Meanwhile Ghost Spider was with Wonder Woman Raven as they'd found where it was located at. "Okay there's gotta be a mistake." The female webslinger stated seeing that it was at a mall of all places.
"No the artifact is here." Diana apsoke as they'd gone into the mall and she notes "It's like some sort of temple."
"Only if you worship a credit card." Ghost Spider stated to them as they'd continued to walk around trying to find the artifact.
"Imagine it more as an indoor bazaar and marketplace." Raven stated about what exactly a mall was meant to be.
"How could any woman wear such rediculous things?" Wonder Woman then questioned walking past a display of different outfits.
"Some wear it because they wanna show off how good they look without being totally naked others wear it to attract the attention of guys." Raven stated as they'd continued their search around the place.
"Is that why you wear such a tight outfit, to attract Spider-Man's attention?" Diana questioned Ghost Spider who'd looked very annoyed by the question.
"Or for the love of, NO I'm so tired of people assuming that. Spider-Man is like a brother to me. You wouldn't go around trying to do that with your siblings would you?" The female wallcrawler questioned annoyed by what they were saying.
"Actually on Themyscira we"STOP! I don't wanna know. it was a rhetorical question."" Diana began to say but was cut off by Ghost Spider who'd held up her hands in a motion for Diana to stop talking.
"Rhetorical?" Diana questioned them not having a word like that on her home Island, or at least hadn't had it translated to a word that meant the same thing yet.
"It means she didn't really want you to answer the question." Raven stated as the stone had flashed showing they were directly in line with the artifact and looked up seeing nothing but the skylight above them. "Nothing above, so it must be below us."
The half demon then blasted at the ground with her powers using them to drill through it and pull up the container of the artifact, though a light flashed in front of them making the three see monsters before them.
The three had only seen two monsters a piece but Ghost Spider's senses didn't go off while looking at them and she'd had an idea why going over to a school supply store she'd taken some paste board and large markers as the other two monsters had started fighting against one another. She'd written down something and ran over holding the board between them making the monsters stop reading the writing on there.
The two then looked at one another and the three then sat down onto the ground and we see Raven next to two monsters that were sitting as well and she'd began chanting something before we then cut back to Danielle and Gwen.
"You wanna play with fire? Let's try a little Ice." Danielle called out blasting the snake with her ice powers that she'd learned to manifest with Danny's help freezing the snake from the inside out and Gwen then threw energy at it shattering the snake in the process.
