Chapter 7:

Scrabbit In The Ice

Elsewhere, Scrabbit appeared on a field of ice over a lake as he sniffs around the ice and soon noticed his carrot underneath the ice.

Scrabbit beamed and then slammed his teeth against the ice as he pulls free and watched the carrot gently float away. Scrabbit growled and started stomping and jumping on the ice a few times, but by the 4th jump, the piece of ice flipped over as Scrabbit fell under and the carrot above the ice.

It took a second for Scrabbit to realize he was underwater as he started pounding the piece and the ice piece flipped around and Scrabbit was back underwater. Scrabbit slipped his fingers through a gap and the piece flipped around as Scrabbit held on and struggled as he climbed up and barely holds the carrot by his snout. It's like he can never catch a break.

The carrot slipped as Scrabbit caught it. But the ice piece then started tilting as Scrabbit started running on each end of the ice piece as it swiftly spun around until it hits Scrabbit and he was tossed into the air as the ice piece hits his back multiple times.

Then Scrabbit was tossed up again and fell as the ice piece hits him and he has spun around as the carrot was tossed into the air and the ice knocks it away again as Scrabbit held his hand out before the ice piece flipped over once more and he was underwater again. But he was determined to get the carrot back.

The carrot slid across the ice, underneath, Scrabbit saw it and quickly follows it.

Soon, Scrabbit broke a piece of ice off with his nose as the carrot slid by and he sniffed around. Then he sniffed hard as the carrot was suddenly sucked right to his nose, while underneath, Scrabbit continues sucking, and soon he could barely breathe and sent the carrot flying back.

Scrabbit then started crawling through the hole as his right eye poked through, and soon his left eye pops through, and soon his head got through. Scrabbit saw the carrot only a few yards away and then jabbed his teeth on the ice. Scrabbit started turning as his teeth cut through cutting a circle around his head as he was soon able to pull free and crawl out of the water.

But Scrabbit found himself barely able to stand with the ice piece as it was heavy as he tries to stay on his feet. But he soon fell off his feet and rolled to the carrot and spun around it, trying to reach it. Scrabbit soon stopped spinning around it and tries to reach for it. But then he tips over and fell as the carrot was tossed away and the ice chunk lands over his head.

The carrot fell over a ledge and landed on an ice floe.

Scrabbit struggled under his heavy ice collar and soon flips to his feet and struggles over to the ledge and stood right on the edge. Scrabbit started to tip over and fell over landing on the ice floe and the carrot was catapulted into the air and landed on an ice tower. The whole thing was a sad comedy.

Scrabbit whimpered as he was now stuck completely under the heavy ice collar with no carrot in sight.

Author's Note: While the Mane 3 set out on an adventure to reach the boat before the flood hits, Scrabbit has his own adventure, trying to get his carrot. Which by the way, might take him three days to get.
