Sonic is walking to Caillou's house one morning after eating breakfast. A week ago, there was a Meet Your Favorite Video Game Character contest. Caillou won it and now, Sonic is unhappy because he has to spend a whole day with him. When Sonic gets to Caillou's house, he meets Caillou's parents.
"We're glad you're here, Sonic. Caillou has been really looking forward to today," says Boris.
"Caillou, Sonic is here!" says Doris.
"Yay!" says Caillou while coming into the room.
"What kind of name is Caillou and why is he bald?" asks Sonic to himself.
"You did a good job of winning that contest, Caillou. Now, you get to spend the whole day with Sonic. Are you excited?" asks Boris.
"Yeah! We're going to have lots of fun! We might even be friends!" says Caillou.
"Yeah, right," says Sonic to himself.
"You two play nice now," says Doris while leaving the room with Boris.
"I'm glad we get to spend the day together, Sonic. Do you want to meet my sister and my cat?" asks Caillou.
"I might as well since I'm stuck here," says Sonic.
