Chapter 10:

Meet Flash/Three Changelings

In a different part of the forest, as the leaves gently fell, Twilight heads near a pond and stares down at her reflection, the reflection of someone who lost everything, as a leaf lands in the water gently.

"I guess I really am the Last Alicorn after all," Twilight said as she looks at her reflection, "It's just you and me now, huh?" She asked her reflection as a single teardrop falls from her face and landed in the pond, creating a ripple. She sighs and turns to join back up with Pinkie and Rainbow Dash. Even if she doesn't have a conventional family she does have her best friends. Even if they could drive her a little crazy.

But suddenly, a large object dropped right in front of her catching her by surprise. Twilight screamed and the creature screamed back as well before the branch it was holding onto broke and it fell off the tree with a loud thump, and Twilight cringed as she looked down at it.

The creature removes the branches off and revealed itself to be an Alicorn Stallion with a brilliant gamboge coat, a moderate sapphire blue mane, and tail, and his cutie mark is a shield with a lightning bolt on it. He just gave her an embarrassed smile, as Twilight looked at the admittedly handsome-looking stallion.

Twilight's eyes widened as she couldn't contain the happiness she was feeling, "YES! yesyesyesyesyes!" She cheered, jumping around the surprised stallion like an excited filly. She couldn't believe her luck! Not only did she find another alicorn but an Alicorn STALLION! "I knew it! I knew I wasn't the only one!" Twilight continued cheering.

The Stallion got up and smiled like her, "Me too! Everybody falls out of the tree every now and then and they just won't admit it," the Alicorn Stallion said to the jumping mare.

Twilight stopped her jumping, and turned to the stallion with a raised brow, "Wait, hold on, what?" Twilight asked, being confused.

"Some of us are having a hard time holding on to those branches. It's not like we're Bat Ponies or Bats or anything. We don't have the tails or feet to keep us hanging upside down," The Alicorn Stallion said.

Twilight looked up and saw the broken branch as she asked, "And then you were in the tree, because?...".

Twilight turned to see he was gone but then saw him climbing another tree.

"Oh, I'm just looking for my sisters. They're always getting into trouble," The Alicorn Stallion said as the tree swayed.

"Sisters?! You mean there's more?!" Twilight asked, not believing that there's more.

"Yeah," The Alicorn Stallion confirmed, near the treetop. But then the tree bends down as he slipped and hits the ground with another thump.

"There are lots of us," The Alicorn Stallion added.

"Really?! Where?!" Twilight asked, clapping her hooves excitedly. If he was part of an alicorn herd then they could really save the species!

"Um, everywhere. Disguised as rocks and other creatures," The Alicorn Stallion said like it was obvious. Before he got up and leaned in closer whispering, "Usually, we're more active at night so that way we don't get picked on by Roc and other giant flying things. And sometimes other creatures don't like it when we impersonate them."

"Huh?" Twilight asked, now being really confused. What was he talking about? Alicorns can't disguise themselves as rocks or other creatures. The only creatures that could do that were-

"HELP!" yelled a voice.

Twilight turned to see two Changelings being chased by Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie.

"HELP!" The first Changeling said.

Rainbow Dash lets out a whinny as she and Pinkie Pie stop and sees another Alicorn as the two Changelings rushed behind him and peeked out from behind his hoof.

"Well give me long ears and shaved tail and call me a Donkey. You found another Alicorn, Twilight," Pinkie said, being amazed.

"Really? Where? Oh, wait a minute, I read somewhere that Alicorns are supposed to be extinct," The Alicorn Stallion said as he looked around.

The Mane 3 looked at him weirdly with funny looks on their faces.

"Um, what are you three mares looking at me for?" The Alicorn Stallion asked in confusion.

"Uh, I don't know. Maybe because you are an Alicorn," Twilight replied.

"Me? Oh, where are my manners? I'm not an Alicorn. I'm Flash Sentry the Changeling," Flash said, introducing himself.

"Nice to meet you, Flash The Changeling. I'm Twilight Sparkle The Purple Dragon," Twilight said, introducing herself while also taking this as a joke.

"These are my friends. This is Rainbow Dash The Griffon," Twilight said, gesturing to Rainbow Dash.

"And this here is my best friend, Pinkie The Warthog," Twilight said, gesturing to Pinkie.

Pinkie's eyes widen as she points to Rainbow Dash and said "Hey! Why am I the Warthog? Make Dashie the Warthog,".

The two Changelings joined by Flash's side as the first Changeling said, "This mare giving you trouble, bro?".

"Bro?!" Twilight, Pinkie, and Rainbow Dash exclaimed in unison. The Changelings were the Alicorn's sisters?

"Yup, these are my sisters," Flash said, introducing his sisters to the Mane 3.

"This is Trixie The Changeling," Flash said, gesturing to the brilliant azure Changeling.

"Starlight The Changeling," Flash said, gesturing to the pale, light grayish heliotrope Changeling.

"And me, Flash The Changeling," Flash said, gesturing to himself.

"I don't think his tree goes all the way up to the top branch," Twilight said as she, Pinkie, and Rainbow Dash realized he thinks he's a Changeling.

Flash, Trixie, and Starlight stood there and smiled.

"Uh, Twilight. In case you haven't read or heard, but Brink Of Extinction is a very bad time to be picky. Say, he should come with us, Twilight," Pinkie said, getting an idea.

"What?! Pinkie, are you insane?! I'm not going to ask him," Twilight said, turning to Pinkie angrily.

"Okay, then. Flash, Twilight wants me to ask you if you and your sisters would like to escape the flood with us," Pinkie said with an insisted look as she went up to Flash and his Changeling Sisters.

"Wha-?" Twilight exclaimed as she turned to Rainbow Dash.

Starlight and Trixie marched up to Rainbow Dash angrily as Starlight said, "I think I would rather be stepped on than going to the boat,".

"I think I can arrange that in a second," Rainbow Dash said angrily as she glared at the two Changelings.

"HA! Funny! Let me have a little word with my sisters," Flash said, placing his arm around Starlight and Trixie and pulling them away as Starlight and Trixie growled at Rainbow Dash.

"And I will have a little word with my friends," Twilight said, also placing her arm around Rainbow Dash and pulling her away as Rainbow Dash growled at Trixie and Starlight. This was an embarrassing situation.

"Flash, are you crazy?! Ain't no way we're going with them!" Starlight said with disbelief.

"Look, we'll never make it in time if we only travel at night. These girls could protect us out in the open. So what do you two say?" Flash said, reminding them they nearly lost half a day.

Twilight whacked Pinkie on the head with her hoof as Pinkie yelped, "Ow! What?".

"What the heck, Pinkie?! Why in Equestria did you invite them for?!" Twilight demanded angrily.

"Twilight, isn't it obvious? You and Flash might be the only two Alicorns left in this world," Pinkie replied.

"I hate to say this, but Pinkie Pie does have a point, Twilight," Rainbow Dash said.

"I'm sorry. When did you two start the dating service?" Twilight asked as she looked at both Pinkie and Rainbow Dash with an annoyed glare.

"My sisters and I will be delighted to come with you and your friends, Twilight," Flash said.

"Well, that's great news. The more the merrier," Twilight said with a forced grin.

"If, your friends treat us nicely," Trixie said as she walked to Rainbow Dash, who growled. She didn't like Trixie's attitude.

"See that, Flash? That Pegasi here is doing the total opposite of nice," Trixie said, pointing a hoof at Rainbow Dash.

"Maybe we should have a little snack break before we hit the road," Rainbow Dash said as she walks off.

"Oh, you want a piece of us, Rainbow Jerk? Then let's go," Starlight said.

Trixie then jumped on Starlight's shoulder and launches herself into the air.

"BANZAI!" Trixie yelled as she transformed into a Squirrel.

Rainbow Dash looked up and Trixie landed on her head while pulling her eyelids up.

"Hang on, Rainbow Dash. I got her! Ow!" Pinkie said, trying to grab Trixie until she was whipped by a tail.

"Back! Back! Back! Ya! Ya!" Starlight, transformed into a Whipped-tailed Snake, yelled as she keeps whipping Pinkie.

"Ow! That hurts!" Pinkie said, rubbing her hoof. She didn't understand why things had to be so complicated.

Rainbow Dash then threw Trixie off her head and attends to snatch her up as Trixie held her mouth opened and said, "You know the best part about squirrels? They carry diseases,".

Suddenly the ground started shaking as a distant icy rumble was heard. The shaking soon stopped and faded away as Rainbow Dash spits Trixie out of her mouth and said, "She wasn't kidding. Much prefer cider than that,".

"Alright, I came to a decision. Thanks to Pinkie's idea, we'll travel together. But like it or not, we'll have to be one big happy family," Twilight said to Trixie and Starlight.

"I'll be the Mother, Flash will be the Father, and Rainbow Dash, Pinkie, Trixie, and Starlight will be the Aunts who will keep a watchful eye on each other in case they start to fight over something," Twilight said as Flash frowned from that and Rainbow Dash lightly glared at Trixie and Starlight.

"Now let's get moving before all of Equestria falls out from under our feet," Twilight said as she heads off.

"You know I read that Bookworm Ponies are usually jolly at this time of year," Flash said, muttering. Not understanding Twilight's behavior.

"I'm not a Bookworm. I'm just an Alicorn who likes to read a lot of books. So I'm actually a Book…Alicorn," Twilight argued, turning to him.

"Oh, okay, Twilight," Flash said as Twilight heads off again.

Then Flash turned to his sisters and muttered, "She's a Book Alicorn, then,".

Then The Three Changeling Siblings walks off following the Mane 3.

Author's Note: Well how about that, talk about a turn of events. At first, Twilight was about to accept the fact that she is the last of her kind, seeing is how there are no other Alicorns around. But that's when she met Flash Sentry in a screaming and surprise kinda way...

After all, First Love Impressions Are Very Important. Even if you have to scream when an Alicorn appears out of nowhere in front of you hanging upside down from a tree.

Anyway, Twilight was excited and shocked for she did not only find another Alicorn but a Stallion. Flash, on the other hoof, thought she was referring to falling off a tree. After a little conversation, Pinkie and Rainbow Dash arrived, still chasing Trixie and Starlight, and saw Flash themselves, which basically proves to them that their friend Twilight was not the last of her kind after all. Flash was confused when he mentioned to the Mane 3 that Alicorns are supposed to be extinct which got The Mane 3 confused too, basically on the fact that he's an Alicorn.

And to make things even more confusing and shocking for the Mane 3, mostly Twilight, Flash reveals to believe that he's a Changeling just like Trixie and Starlight, who are revealed to be his sisters.

Pinkie asked Flash if he and his sisters if they would like to escape the flood with the Mane 3 which got Twilight shocked. After Twilight and Flash have a little word with their friends and sisters, and a little fight, Twilight has came to a decision and allowed Flash and his sisters to join their group as new members of their 'One Big Happy Family'.

Looks like their adventure has become a little more chaotic and more different, especially when Flash called Twilight a Bookworm and Twilight denies it still.
