Scenario: An alternative universe where Satou and Shio's didn't burn down and Satou still lives, and takes her "happy sugar life" with Shio further than she intended.

Satou halfway lied that answer, as she knew love could definitely hurt as much as lust, but she didn't put that in young Shio's head. Shio didn't really like that answer, more so she didn't understand it, and returned with, "But what does it matter, we still love each other, and we can do what lovers do, that isn't bad. Is it good?" Satou knew where Shio was coming from, but she was starting to get a bit annoyed with the constant questions, and just wanted to make dinner. "Shio, I don't really like these questions you're asking. Can you please go play while I cook? I wanna eat too." Shio said "Fine, I'll go,find out how to love then."
