Prologue

He died. Even if he wasn't a bright person in terms of brainpower, he knew that was indeed the case when he could see his lifeless body laying on the street after he crashed his bike into a speeding truck.

Tears started pouring down from his eyes thinking about the friends he left. They were not only his friends but also a family.

Even though society saw them as trash, the friends he made in the biker gang Black Biker Crows also known as BBC were a bunch of nice guys with good moral codes.

One, BBC is one big family. Two, don't do drugs. Three, never betray your own family. Four, only fight against the other fighters unless they threaten your family. Five, if you want money, then you must find a job and don't ever committed any crimes. And six, don't kill any opponents since we are only a youngster.

That was true. BBC was a biker gang for youngsters who didn't go to high school or found their high school life lacking the adrenaline. Yes. They only fight to release their spirit of youth. Rebelling against the strict society that tried to bind them with a chain called rule.

He thought he would leave the gang after he hit nineteen just like his seniors. But to know that he would 'graduate' because of a traffic accident made him cry out of his heart.

Then, everything went dark.

Ah. Is this the time to go to the afterlife? He thought to himself.

"In a way, yes. It is the time for you to go to the next World."

A voice answered his thought which made him surprised.

The darkness seemed to disappear as some kind of humanoid made of light appeared in front of him.

"Hello, child," it said shortly.

He didn't respond. His small brain was still trying to process what was going on. Although he didn't know what would happen after death, –well everyone who still lived also had no knowledge of it – but he didn't expect this would be happening.

Is God talking to me?

The light being chuckled before he spoke,

"No, child. I'm not the God you speak of. Well, I am something beyond gods."

"W-What?!"

He finally let out a voice from his mouth. He couldn't believe it. In front of him, a being made of light claimed to be something beyond gods. Was that really true?

"A-Are you saying the truth?" He asked with a shaky tone.

The being answered,

"I'm telling you the truth, child."

"D-Do you have any proof?"

The being simply nodded. Then, he demanded,

"Show me, please."

The being hummed while scratching his chin before he said,

"Before that, I wish to talk with you. After we finish our talk, then I will show my power to you. Do we have an agreement?"

After thinking for a while, he finally decided to have a talk with him. Well, it wouldn't hurt for him to know what the being wanted from him.

Met with an affirmative response, the being started to talk.

"Tell me, do you know the phrase 'life is a story where the world is the stage'?"

"No."

"I see. Well, do you have a favorite movie, book, or television series?"

He was confused by the question, but still answered,

"I do. For books or rather manga, I like Crows and Worst series. The Godfather is my favorite movie. And for television series, an anime to be exact, it is High School DxD, even though I also read the light novel until volume 19. Why?"

"Well, would you mind being reincarnated into a World of one of your favorite stories?"

There came the bombshell which made his mind blown away. Reincarnating someone into a fictional world? How could he do that?

Sensing his confusion and knowing the questions in his mind, the being explained,

"Just like I said earlier, 'life is a story where the world is the stage'. Every story created whether by humans or other beings will become real as the Multiverse created a Universe for the Worlds of fictional stories. That Universe is called Fiksina. And I had made an agreement with it. Now, I can reincarnate one of the almost infinite numbers of souls inside this Universe to one of the Worlds inside Fiksina. And you, just win the lottery for this one rare chance. Do you understand so far?"

Even though he had no brain anymore – seeing that he was a soul –, his head was still hurt as he tried to digest his words.

Yup! I understand that I don't understand at all!

It seemed the being really could read his mind as it said,

"Well, you were an ordinary human. So I understand that you won't understand what I had explained even though I word it using a simplified version. Well, let's forget about it."

He scowled at the being which got ignored.

"Moving on, you can choose between Crows and Worst series, The Godfather, or High School DxD. After you make your choice, I will reincarnate you into the World you choose while still retaining the memories of your previous life. And here comes the fun part. I will grant you five wishes before I reincarnate you. The wishes you make will take effect after you are reborn. Got that?"

Now, he could understand. Why didn't that being told that from the get-go?

Why he must tell him about Multiverse and Universe shits?

"Because you ask how could I reincarnate you into a fictional world," the being said after reading his mind once again.

"Ah. That's true. I kinda forgot. Sorry."

"Don't mind it. Well, it's time to choose, child."

"B-But why you chose me?"

The being shook his head before he answered,

"I told you that you won it by lottery, didn't I? Besides, you mustn't let this chance go. Maybe in your next life, there is someone who can look at the real you."

He was stunned at the being's last sentence. He then thought about what that being said and immediately agreed with that being. And now, he was thinking about the three choices available.

First, Crows and Worst series. He wasn't sure about it. It was true that he became a delinquent because he was inspired by the manga series. He also often imagined himself unified Suzuran All-Boys Highschool just like Tsukishima Hana did. But after he graduated, he would be stuck with a normal job. The reality aspect of the manga series was the thing that made him reluctant on being reincarnated into that World.

Second, The Godfather. This was his least favorite choice since if he couldn't join Corleone Family or any other powerful groups, then he most likely would end up working in a rival family. That was a big no.

As such, the obvious choice would be the third, High School DxD. Not only there were supernatural beings and abilities like magic and Sacred Gear, but the anime series also consisted of his favorite character.

She was a beautiful white-haired girl with a pair of blue-green eyes. Her body was also proportional and was the type of his liking. Even though she didn't affect the story too much, he found that she was so charming. His friends on BBC always teased him, saying that a scary and strong guy like him turned out to be someone who liked a fictional character.

Fuck!

He held back his sadness as he remembered his friends once again. It was still hurt to leave them this early.

After a while, he managed to recompose himself and stared at the being.

"I choose High School DxD."

The being nodded at him before speaking,

"I understand. What race do you choose? You can choose any race except divine and hybrid."

He answered,

"Human. And if it can be done, I want to be born in Japan."

"Very well. Now it's time for your wish. Of course, there is a limit to your wish. For example, if you ask for infinite magic reserves, the wish will be not fulfilled but still take the slot. So, be careful of what you wish for."

"Okay. Let me think for a while, then."

The being shrugged in an exaggerated manner as he said,

"No need to rush. I got time."

He thought hard. He must use every cell of his brain to think about his wishes. He couldn't let himself screw this up. Even one wish must not go to waste.

After ten minutes, he finally came up with decisions. Seeing that he was ready to tell his wishes, the being nodded repeatedly before he said,

"I see that you have thought this through. I already know about them, so I just want to ask you for confirmation. Are you sure about those wishes?"

Without any hesitation, he answered,

"Yes."

The being nodded as he placed his hand on his chest.

"Magic reserve as large as Shiva's divine reserve: fulfilled. Enhanced human capabilities when you reach six years old: fulfilled. Having the same age as the protagonist, Hyoudou Issei: fulfilled. Having the ability to create abilities: half-fulfilled. Born in a wealthy family: fulfilled. Before you ask about the fourth wish, I fulfill it with limitations. You won't be able to create the ability to destroy the Universe, travel between Universes, create an ability to achieve true immortality, can't create an ability to make your reserve infinite, or any abilities that are beyond Universe-level. Oh! You can't do anything that is categorized as hacking the World System as well. So, you better train if you want to be strong."

"Wait. What about Ophis? She was said to have infinite power," he asked.

The being answered as he retracted his hand,

"Well, I forgot to tell you that the World only used the story's design such as setting, events, system, and individuals for its foundation. So, the World of DxD that you are about to live in will have a few differences from the canon story. Since it isn't clear what makes Ophis infinite and nothing could ever divide infinity, judging that in the light novel that character had its power split, the World fixed the reason Ophis is said to be infinite by making that dragon have an abnormal regeneration speed in both magical reserve and durability so other beings thought that Ophis' power is infinite."

"I-I see. That makes sense. I guess.."

"Well, don't overthink it. Since you won the lottery, you have to enjoy the prize. Are you ready to go?"

He nodded excitedly. He would make sure to have fun in his new life and achieve his goal there.

The being snapped his fingers then his soul started to soar at an incredible speed.

As the being was left alone, a tear in space could be seen, and from there was a woman with blue long hair.

The woman stared at the being with a calculative gaze before she asked,

"What are you planning this time, Nolu?"

The light that covered the entirety of the being's body suddenly shattered, revealing a figure of man with a long black hair wearing a red luxurious robe.

The man smiled at the woman before he answered,

"I just want to enjoy an entertainment. Nothing else. Relax, sister. I have no plan to destroy that Universe or intervene with any events there."

The woman sighed tiredly, knowing that her so-called little brother was easy to get bored.

"It's only five eons since your ascension, yet you have been bored twelve times including this one. Do I need to remind you that as the only remaining Liternas, you have a very important duty to maintain the balance of Multiverses?"

The man paled under the woman's sharp gaze. He knew that she was the only one who could match him in terms of power and could truly punish him in violent ways.

"P-Please, sister! R-Relax, okay?! I swear that I'll also do my duty while watching that boy's story!"

"Good. Then, let's go. The Lovecraftian has formed once again. You need to erase its existence before its characters shake the balance again."

The man sighed in defeat as he tore the space behind him. He and the woman then walked through it and went from the empty space they were in.
