Sup guys? Lighting Wolf here, back with another story, this one about Warhammer. Enjoy the 800-word chapter. I do not own Warhammer, Gameshop does.
The legions of chaos were as much at war with themselves as they were with the Imperium and the rest of the galaxy. Each legion, formally of some of humanity's best was reduced to violence and the desire to kill and slaughter.
However? at least two legions were slightly different from this… The Thousand Sons and the Alpha Legion… Though their goals differed as one craved knowledge and power through said knowledge… The other? nobody knew what the Alpha Legion was after and their Primarch was too tight-lipped to even utter a sentence of it.
It made them far too awkward to function… Besides other groups in the Eye of Terror, mainly because it was clear that their goals were different and did not always serve Chaos itself.
That? And because they were not AS bloodthirsty as other groups of traitor marines. There was something within two groups such as them.
Hence? Their toil and cunning seemed to be making it harder and more impossible to predict… Granted, both groups did this completely unpredicted for now… It came down to something beyond understanding.
"The ritual will begin soon." One of the cultists stated, their gnarled arms slowly peeking from inside their torn robes.
The chaotic little soldiers of the dark gods toiled, their pains written in lifeblood on their bodies, itself a testament to their reverence. Perhaps it was insanity to some… But they did not seem to think of it.
All of it seemed to be chaotic enough to break even the gods themselves… But they ground on, relaxing, plans unfolding for now and for good reason.
This chaos fed them, it bred further ideals and pain which they enjoyed and it pleased them in ways only they would get used to if push went to shove. Then again? Only the most horrid of monsters.
All of it? All of it was toxic and fun for now, something which was going through their minds of them to the end eventually… It would become harder and harder to process now for now at the drop of a hat.
It was a lot more to try and deal with, something that could be dealt with for now and it seemed to be pushing them at the end of the day… There was a lot more to try and deal with… And the enjoyment of it all was intoxicating. Perhaps, however? This was something else to deal with, something which needed to be dealt with it and anything else.
The chaos was enough to drive them mad… Though both groups were… Technically this already, the ritual would benefit them all but it might not… Well, either way? Someone would profit, the only question seemed to be something even they could not deal with it at all.
The ritual seemed to be dealt with for now as he clicked his fingers and let it all come to the end of the day before now.
The amusement on his face was equaled only by those of the group. He wanted results and he wanted them damn well now… It did not matter much what happened if they got some damn results, that and that alone was worth it.
The ritual continued to crackle lightning, it began to make them eager to figure out what was going on, to let them know what was going to happen either way.
Energy crackled as they prepared for it, the great promise they had been bestowed was to arrive sooner or later… And it would be fun, very fun for them at the end of the day.
There was something fun to be had.
The only weakness was their power, it was their chaos surging through them, feeding their path onwards when it was all said and done when it came down to it energy crackled around them.
All such things would become secondary to them, know what would become of it as he clicked his fingers against one another, there were a lot of ideas that needed to be said and done once more.
All of it was fun… And fun was awaiting them.
That and the insanity of whatever happened when the ritual stopped and they were all enough to deal with it.
Author Notes
Phew. The first chapter is done! I want to point out that since this story is odd. I am putting it up to you if it's about the Thousand Sons or Alpha Legion. I plan to do one for both. The next chapter will be about the crossover and show where the legion ends up and their goals after the crossover. Until the 900–6500-word chapter in 2-10 months, Lighting Wolf out!
