PLOT: MISTER FREEZE makes a bad deal with the JOKER in exchange for heating and curing his wife... but the plan was a hoax... BATMAN must stop the JOKER..

(BRUCE makes his way down to the Batcave and is stunned as he sees his butler down... he panics...)

(freaks to unconscious ALFED) Alfred. ALFRED.. ALFREd..

(BRUICE hyperventilates)

(BRCUE panics more)

(BRUCe with such quickness performs CPR and brings bring ALFRED back... ALFRED breathes and coughs...)

(panics to ALFRED) No ALFRED. NO.. you are working too hard ALFRED.. you ARE working too hard.. NO... NO... I want you to go on a holiday.
ALFRED
(worired to BRUCE) BRUCE.. NO BRuce.. it's okay... it's okay...
(BRUCE stops ALFED"s speech...)

(firmly to ALFRED) No ALFREd.. NO.. No... NO more... No more.. you need a HOLIDAY... I'l book you a holiday around CEnTRAL CITY.. please... please.. you need a break.

(ALFRED notice BRUCE's worrying, and puts his hand on BRUCE)

(ALFe heads upstairs mintues later... BRUCE breathes)

(SUDDNELY the alert sound goes off; signalling a GOTHAM CITY criminal is out on the loose within GOTHAM streets. BATMAN heads to the batcomputer and sits DOWN)
BRUCE
(to himself) What criminal is out.. WHAT Criminal is out to give GOTHAM a hard time.. whoever you ARE.. YOU..
(BRCUE looks at the BATCOMPUTER; scans for the unidentified criminal; and identifies it as MISTER FREEZE)
BRUCE
(thinks o himself) FREEZE.. VICTOR FREEZE... What are yOU UP TO?
(BRUCE activates the live broadcast from the alley via the BATCOMPUTER. THe live footage plays..)
VICTOR
(to himself) Oh... damn... The JOKER says he is supposed to be here by now... DAMN..
(JOKER starts to laugh in the background.. VICTOR looks around for the sound of laughter...)
VICTOR
(annoyed to himself) THIS JOKER.. this CLOWN is so insane..
(BRUCe is shocked to hear the word 'JOKER' come out of VICTOR FREEZE's mouth)
BRUCE
(shocked to himself) THE JOKER... the JOKER... oh no... What HAVE you gotten yourself into FREEZE?
(VICTOR continues to speak..)
VICTOR
(annoyed to himself) HURRY UP CLOWN.. hurry.
(SUDDNELy the JOKER Enters the scene via the surveillance footage. The sound of laughter is heard via the screen as the JOEKR heads to VICTOR FREEZE)
JOKER
(laughing to MISTER FREEZE) Oh FREEZE.. FREEZE. (laughs) FREEZE.. are you going to give me a chill?
VICTOR
(firmly to JOKER) JOKER.. I said 9pm sharp,.. it is half an hour late.. I don't have time to...
(SUDDENLY the JOKER grabs the thermal glass heater from his pocket. and prepares to drop it; VICToR panics...)
VICTOR
(panics to JOKER) No.. NO.
JOKER
(firmly to VICROR) You know VICTOR.. that is not how you should treat a man who is trying to save your wife's life.. DISGUSTING YOU THINK..
VICTOR
(APOLogises to JOKER) SORRY... SORRY JOKER.. PLEASE... PLEASE.. DON't BREAK IT... WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO..
JOKER
(laughs to VICTOR)) that bat... is so anrgy and annoying sometimes.. I want you to do something for me..
(SUDDENLY THE JOKER PULLS OUT A CONTROL AND TURNS THE TV OFF. BRUCE LOSES ACESSS TO THE LINE FOOTAGE; AND GROWS ANNOYED..)

(annoyed to himself) DAMMIT.. the computers went black.. it's fried... the JOKER... the JOKER fried access via the remote he was holding... all WAYNETECH cameras are down...
(BRUCE RINGS LUCIOUS FOX VIA THE BATCOMPTUER... LUCIUS ANAWERS...)

(to BRUCE via batcomputer) Hello BRUCE... how are you?

(to LUCIUS) The JOKER... my computer... has lost access to all WAYNETECH surveillance cameras around GOTHAM... all the cameras are fried... I saw that the JOKER was holding some kind of remote which in turn blocked all the footage to view..
LUCIUS
(via comptuer; shocked to BRUUE) Oh GOD.. oh GOD... what is that MANIAC planning now?
BRUCE
(breathes to LUCIUS) No idea... LUCIUS, no IDEA.., but... I need those cameras back up and running...
LUCIUS
(via computer to BRUCE) Sure.. anything for you BRUCE...
BRUCE
(to LUCIUS) Also... come to the BATCAVE and work... i want you to work on somethign when I come back..

(FADE IN; GOTHAM CITY within the CITY STREETS. BATMAN glides to the ground and searches for MISTER FREEZE. The alley is quiet. MEANWHILE - MISTER FREEEZE is hiding in an abandoned shopfront; and panics to himself. VICTOR FREEZE looks at the cybernetic chamber; with which NORA frIES is located inside... VICTOR speaks to NORA)
VICTOR
(freaks to BATMAN) Oh god.. I have planned something with the JOKER... the actual JOKER.. but I hope this works out NORA... I hope...
(MEANWHILE - BATMAN uses a telescope to look at VICTOR...)
VICTOR
(speaks to himself) Oh.. I have trusted a maniac.. if that man fools me... I swear.. I wil give him that much of a cryo. blast.. he will regret lying to me..
(VITOR breathes to himself...)

(VICTOR pulls out the thermal heat magnet-projector and shines it on NORA... by magnetising it directly to the cryo-chamber.. but it is proven to be TOXIC ACID.. VICTOR freezes the acid; and freaks out in the process; completely freezing the acid to nothing.. VICTOR freaks out...)

(THE ACID is completely gone.. BATMAN enters the room..)

(firmly TO MR FREEZE) Mr FREEZE.. MISTER FREEZE.
(MISTER FEEZE panics and shoots a cryo blast from his hand to BATMAN.. BATMAN dodges the blast...)
MISTE FEES
(annoyed to BATMAN) BATMAN.. BATMAN... NOW is not the TIME.. MY WIFE.. MY WIFE... I must save my wife.. and YOU ARE IN THE WAY.
(MISTER FREEZE shoots another blast at BATMAN; BATMAN jumps out of the way; and takes MISTER FREEZE down; restraining him; and disempowering him... MISTER FREEZE panics and lets go of NORA: NORA begins to fall..)

(panics to himself) NO NORA..
(BATMAN catches NORA; MISTE FREEZE falls asleep. CUT TO BLACK...)

(FADE IN; MISTER FEEZE opens his eyes and coughs as he looks at the ceiling then looks forward; and panics as he sees BATMAN..)
MISTER FREEZE
(panics to BATMAN) BATMAN.. BATMAN..
(MISTE FREEZE becomes annoyed; and pulls out his hand; with his hand turning blue; shooting a chunk of ice at BATMAN.. BATMAN ducks...)
BATMAN
(FIRMLY TO MISTER FREEZE) FREEZE.. ENOUGH... I AM NOT HERE TO HURT YOU... I...-
MISTER FREEZE
(shouts to BATMAN) Where is NORA? WHERE IS NMY NORA? or I swear.. I will freeze that noggin of yours off.
BRUCE
(firmlly to MISTER FEEZE) VICTOR.. she is fine.. at the hospira.. they ar egoing to do tests on .. her...
(MISTER FREEZE INSTANTLY PANICS ND SHOUTS AT BATMAN WITH FEAR)
MISTE FEES
(scared to BRUCE) No.. NO BATMAN.. NO.. NO... she is another subject they can't handle.. Doctors don't understand her condition. I am A SCIENTIST... I KNOW... I must GET HER BACK... I MUST..
(MISTER FREEZE's hand turns blue then fires a blast at BATMAN's glove; freezing the gloves off; uncovering his bare-hand...)

(shocked to VICTOR) VICTOR.. NO..
VICTOR
(shouts to BATMAN) She is my WiFE.. MY BELOVED MY WIFE.. SHE IS MINE... the cancer is trying to take her away from me.. NOW you and the DOCTOR will take her away from me.. because you pretend-science fools don't know WHAT YOU ARE DOING..
(VICOTR blasts another attack; BRUCE dodges the attack... then applies tear gas to the room. VICTOR coughs... as he fires another ice-blast; completely icing the whole shopfront..)

(angrily; searching for BATMAN) WHere ar you BATMAN... I will find you BATMAN... YOU WILL PAY.. the WORLD will pay...
(BATMAN then restrains VICTOR by the throat; and starts to choke him... then inserts a needle into VICTOR"s neck; calming his nerves.. though VIROR still is fighting back..)

(scared to BATMAN) No. NO... what are they going to do?
BATMAN
(firmly to VICTOR) They are going to help NORA... they Are going to help her.. NOT ALL PEOPLE are BAD VICTOR.. I ams sorry for the accident those people had put on you... but NOT EVERYONE is out to GET YOU.

(VIROR thinks back to JOKER: and recalls the JOEKR lying abotut hef ake antidote.)

(annoyed to BATMAN)N0 ih tha aniidot. the DMAN CLOWDN ied abotu the ANTIDOTE. the ANTIFOT Ehtat was suppoe d to he the cure for NORA"s sickness. THAT BASTARD lid.. LIED... I am a fool.
(VITCOT breaks down crying; BATMAN lets go of VICTOR and looks at him..)
BRUCE
(FIRMLY TO VICTOR) WHY ON EARTHH WOULD YOU TRUST THE JOKER... WHY WOULD YOU EVEN THINK ABOUT TRUSTING THE JHOJER?
VICTOR
(cries to BATMAN) I... I don't want to lose her... the fear of losing my beloved NORA is a pain I could never dream of... I am desperate... the cancer of hers is getting worse... her sickness.. it's getting dramatically worse... itt's getitng more aggressive..
(BRUCE BREATHES)

(firmly to VICTOR) YES.. YES I know.. but now YOU HAVE GOTTEN YOURSELF into MORE trouble... more TROUBLE indeed... what did the JOKER ask you to do?
VICTOR
(worried to BATMAN) He.. he uh promised if I froze the whole GCPD by midnight.. he would give me this thermal warmer thing.. that he said would heal my wife... but I was wrong.. That MANIAC CLOWN LIED... I will kill HIM FOR THIS..
(VICOTR grows enraged; BATMAN starts to comfort MR FREEZE)
BRUCE
(to VICTOR) No VICTOR.. I know.. I know how the JOKER can get in your head... please... please learn from me..
(BATMAN coughs)
BRUCE
(to VICTOR) Don't let your anger destory you...
VICTOR
(saddened to BRUCE) I have let my deep worry and anger at the world.. get to me and turn me against you... I am sorry...
(VICTOR coughs)
VICTOR
(coughs to BAMAN) You are a good man BATMAN.. thank you...
BRUCE
(smiles to VICTOR) Now please VICTOR.. just stay here... I will let you know when NORA will be out soon..
(BATMAN leaves..)

(FADE INSIDE the JOKER's PALYGROUND at GOTHAM CITY. BATMAN glide down to the playground and lands on foot. BATMAN looks dedicated and serious into finding the JOKER. BATMAN speaks..

(calling JOEKR) JOKER... where ar YOU?
(THE SOuND of the JOKER laughing is hard...)
JOKER
(laughing to BATMAN) Oh Batty-BAT.. oh BATTY-bat... COME ON... come... come.. I've been planning the biggest surprise..
(BATMAN follows ensuite to the voice of the JOKER. AS BATMAN approaches to the voice of the JOKER. BAAtmn is pie-faced with which makes the BATMAN mask filthy. BATMAN is not happy and continues searching for JOKER)
BRUCE
(serious to JOKER..) JOKER.. JOKER.. make yourself seen NOW..
(JOEKR makes himself seen and laughs)
JOKER
(laughs to BATMAN) oh BATMAN.. BATMAN... BATMAN.. HERE I AM..
(JOEKR pulls out his sniper gun and tries to shoot BATMAN. BATMAN quickly leaks tear gas to his current standing position; and disappears within the tear gas.. JOKER can no see BATMAN and gets annoyed..)
JOKER
(annoyed to BATMAN) oh BATMAN... where are you NOW.. WHERE...?
(JOKER laughs as BATMAN suddenly subdues him; wiht which BATMAN grabs JOKER"S arms and knocks him out..)
BRUCE
(to unconscious JOKER) YOU ARE DONE JOKER..
(FADE OUT END OF SCENE)

INT. OUTSIDE - GOTHAM CITY HOSPITAL - NIGHTIME
(FADE IN; OUTSIDE GOTHAM CITY HOSPITAL. NORA FRIES enters the scene with her hospital NURSE; CUT TO MISTER FREEZE who appears relieved at the sight of his wife..)
MISTER FREEZE
(smiles to NORA) Oh NORA.. NORA... oh beautiful NORA..
(MISTER FREEZE recalls not being able to hug NORA due to his freezing body temperature... NROA smiles whilst seieng MSITE FREEZE)
NORA
(smiles to MISTER FREEZE) VICTOR... how.. how long have i BEEN ASLEEP FOR...?
(MISTER FEEZE looks at NORA...)
(NORA NOTICES HER HUSBAND'S BLUE SKIN...)
NORA
(worried to MISTER FREEZE) VICTOR.. why are you BLUE?
(MSITE FREZE gulps)
MISTER FREEZE
(worried to NORA) I... I tried to cure your illness, and scientists thought I was a fool; and messed with the sciency tools I was working with... and now I am in this cryogenerated state forever.
(NROA cries..)

(Cries to MISTER FREEZE) Victor.. you DIDN't have to... there would have been another way... like the doctors at GOTHAM CITY HOSPITAL had a way...
MISTE FREEZE
(worried to NORA) I didn't think they would take you seriously MY DEAR NORA.. I wanted to fix it myself..

(worried to MISTER FREEZE) VICTOR.. not everyone is bad.. it's okay...
(MISTER FREEZE CRIES.. AS BATMAN ENTERS THE SCENE. NORA looks worried..)

(worried to BATMAN) Batman.. wait. BATMAN.
BRUCE
(smiles to NORA) Yes.. I am BATMAN.. HOW are you NORA?
NORA
(smiles to BATMAN) Oh well.. WELL...
(BATMAN smiles at MISTER FREEZE)

(smiles to MISTER FREEZE) There are good people out there; not EVERYONE is OUT TO GET YOU..
MISTER FREEZE
(smiles to BRUCE) I understand.. I understand... and bATMAN.. I will help you fight crime.. we are now now allies...
