If one were to look upon New York City from above, they would see nothing out of the ordinary. However, upon closer inspection, this person would see the tides crashing upon the harbors, lighting flashing erratically above the empire state building, and shadows seeming to be darker against the moonlight. What was especially strange about this sight was; there seemed to be no one on the streets of Manhatten, while the other boroughs bustled with life, even at the late hour. One would think that something was amiss, and they would be right, and all of it had to do with a certain demigod.

Thunder crashed for the hundredth time on Mt. Olympus as the gods argued with each other. Zeus was sitting all high and mighty upon his throne loudly arguing; his wife Hera next to him agreeing with everything he says. The King and Queen of the gods were flanked by their brothers Poseidon and Hades. Poseidon, the god of the seas, was not dressed in his usual beach attire. He was adorned in sea-green armor and was clutching his trident, knuckles white. Hades, the god of the underworld, like Poseidon, was in full armor, sans helmet. Both argued against Zeus.

In front of the Olympians stood three people; Hestia, goddess of the hearth, Percy Jackson, and Annabeth Chase. Hestia, unlike her brothers, was not adorned in armor and was trying to calm them down. However, Percy and Annabeth were both on the defensive.

"That child cannot be allowed to live! It is a threat to the gods!" Zeus thundered.

"Again with that argument brother? How will my son's child be a threat to Olympus?" Poseidon asked.

"There has been a prophecy made about the child brother, and you know it. The child will destroy…"

"Give it up brother, you're making this prophecy up! There is no way that a child could destroy Olympus and start a war." Poseidon seemed to grip his trident more as he defended his grandchild from his overzealous brother.

"Apollo! Tell my brother of the prophecy that was made not an hour ago."

"Yes, Father. In the realm of ancient gods and divine might, a child shall rise, a beacon in the night. Destined to bring an end to Olympus' reign, a prophecy unfolds, filled with thunder and pain. Born of mortal lineage, this child will grow, with powers untamed, an extraordinary glow. From humble beginnings, hidden and unknown, Their destiny shall unfold, a tale yet to be shown. Raised in the shadows, away from Olympian sight, they'll hone their skills, preparing for the divine fight. The gods, once revered, will tremble in fear, as this child's presence draws near. Their allies will gather, warriors united, to stand against Olympus, their hearts ignited. An army assembled, united by a common goal, to topple the gods, and claim what they stole. Zeus, the mighty ruler, his throne shall crumble, to a mortal's might Olympus shall fumble. The heavens will tremble, Olympus shall fall, To usher in a new era, where mortals stand tall, a legend forever written, the child who caused Olympus to fall."

"Brother, I yield, however, you cannot kill my son and his wife."

"But he can kill my daughter! Over my dead body Zeus will you take her from me!" Percy yelled, uncapping riptide.

"Silence boy! You will not die today! Be grateful, your daughter on the other hand will be put up for a vote." Zeus boomed. Riptide instantly fell from Percy's hand as both his wrists and Annabeth's wrists were chained to the ground. "All in favor of not killing the child," some hands went up, "All in favor of killing the child?"

Every other hand in the room was raised. Percy laughed, Annabeth sobbed, and Apollo stood from his throne. When Zeus asked what he was doing, Apollo responded.

"I'm sorry Father, but this isn't cool with me." He notched an arrow on his bowstring, raised his bow to the sky, and fired. The arrow, imbued with the power of the sun was a signal. A signal for a goddess. A goddess that was missing from this meeting.

Sally Jackson's apartment

The moon goddess stood in the Jackson apartment; a bag on her shoulder and a toddler on her hip. It was almost time and both her and Sally knew it. When Artemis told Sally what was happening she put up a fight, However, she knew that the child was in danger and gave in to Artemis. They both knew that Olympus would fall due to Zeus's tyranny and it would be the little girl to do it. Finally, the time came, Artemis saw the signal and flashed out of the apartment, leaving Sally wondering what to do for the next twelve years.

Artemis was almost to her destination, but she could feel the other gods' presence behind her. After a couple of minutes of running, she saw it, Brooklyn house. And there was Carter and Sadie.

"Magicians, let me in, I'm Artemis. I have the child." Carter let her in and she quickly gave the child to Sadie. "You two know the plan right?"

"Yes, we raise her and train her magical powers, then when she masters those; Magnus trains her in swordplay. Then when she is old enough…" Carter explained.

"That's enough, we don't know who may be listening, me and the child aren't fully protected by the wards yet."

"Then stay Lady Artemis. Stay with us, help train her."

"I cannot, I must go help my brother. Who knows what Zeus will do to us." Carter frowned but both he and Sadie conceded.

"Good luck Lady Artemis, we'll see you soon."

"Maybe, maybe not." With that, she flashes away.

Mt. Olympus, throne room

Apollo is forcefully teleported back to his throne where he is bound and gagged. None of the gods are truly brave enough to stand up to Zeus. Zeus fumes at his son and says,

"Son, you have disappointed me, the betrayal of Olympus is not something I like very much. But, I will deal with you later. Now, Perseus what to do with you? I know." Zeus snapped his fingers and Thanatos appeared out of the shadows.

"Thanatos, what are you doing here?" Hades asked.

"I"m serving Lord Zeus, something you would do well to do as well." Hades looked furious but said nothing. He glanced at the two heroes of Olympus and the fear in their eyes saddened him to no end. For the first time in history, Hades shed a tear.

"Thanatos these two heroes are yours to do as you see fit with. Do not kill them, they still might be useful."

"Yes, Lord Zeus." Thanatos walked over the Percy and Annabeth, grabbed their shoulders roughly, and teleported away.

At almost the same time as their departure, Artemis had flashed into the throne room, specifically onto her throne. She was almost immediately bound and gagged like her brother. Unlike her brother, she struggled against her bonds, tried to scream, and glared daggers at Zeus.

"Now, what do we do with you two."
