"What has Elaine got himself into this time?" Cutter muttered as they flew toward the Maze Caves.
Leyla shrugged her shoulders. "Probably getting lost" She muttered while rolling her eyes.
Summer giggled at her friend's antics.
"Wow! Who knew you had a streak of snark in you, sis." Dak teased his sister.
Leyla snorted. "It's called sass my dear brother" She retort.
Aggro and Cutter burst out laughing.
"You got roasted by your own sister, how sad"" Cutter laughed with a goofy smile on his face.
Aggro smacked him with her tail.
He scowled at her. "Hey" He retired, narrowing his eyes at her. "What was that for?"
"It was Dak's fault anyway" He continued, turning to face Winger.
Aggro smacked him again, a bit harder this time.
"Hey, Mr. Smarty laws, we're here so shut up" She grumbled.
"Oh great" Winger muttered with a heavy sigh. "Ley, you have doomed us all" He said aloud.
Leyla opened her mouth to speak but the sound of things exploding made her snap her mouth shut.
"Oh dear mother of Night Furies!" Burple started to panic.
Summer gave the Rock Spidder a gentle smile. "Don't worry Burps" She told him while brushing her wing over his shoulder.
"Come on gang! Let's go check out those explosions" Wingsr told his team. They all nodded and raced into the cave.
"Hello? Anyone here?" Dak yelled into the darkness.
"We're the Rescue Riders and we're here to help" Winger added.
A purple blast of light caught Layla's eye and she narrowed her eyes in thought.
"Summer, Aggro, and I will free whatever's in there" Leyla took charge. "Dak, Winger, Cutter, and Burple, go find Elbone and we'll meet back here" She said, pointing to Cuter for him to mark the spot they were at.
"We're on it sis" Dak called over his shoulder. "Good luck girls"

A few hours or so later, the group finally met back up at the place where Cutter had marked the wall.
"Hey sis! We found Elbone!" Dak called as Winger sped over toward the others.
Leyla nodded and gave him a thumbs up.
"Good job Dak" She told him with a small nod.
"Hey... who is this?" Cutter asked upon seeing the black and white dragon.
"Oh, forgive me for not introducing myself" Said the dragon. "The name's Comet! Nice to meet ya" He grinned at Winger, his electric blue eyes gleaming in the darkness.
"Would you like to come back to the roost with us?" Summer asked Commit.
Comet smiled warmly at her, making Summer's heart flutter.
Oh my Aloha! He's so cute! Summer mentally screamed in her mind.
"Sure! Why not" He replied with a wide flap of his wings.
"That's amazing" Dak grinned wildly. "Come on guys, let's get out of here" He looked to his sister, who nodded.
"Agreed" Leyla murmured, hoping onto Summer's back as they head back to the village.
"Thanks again for getting me out of trouble Rescue Riders" Elbone waved to them as they flew back to the roost.
The riders landed back at the roost and Dak and Winger dismounted their dragons.
"Well, it's been quite the day, don't you think?" Cutter muttered with a wide yawn.
The others nodded their heads firefly in response.
Leyla turned to Comet. "You can stay here with us if you want" She offered up with an easy-going smile.
Comet smiled and bowed his head. "I would love too" He said, smiling at Summer.
Comet blushed again and they all headed to bed for the night.
