The setting changed to the surface the next day with Luz and Amity now in a black top and blue dress on a carriage being driven by Mike down a road.
"You're going to love this kingdom Ariel, trust me." said Luz.
Amity smiled.
But close behind was another carriage that Molly, Scratch, Ollie, and Eddy were in that Roger was driving.
"I feel I should be worried about the assistant chef leaving his post in the kitchen." said Ollie.
"Eh don't worry Orson, not only am I an amazing cook who actually still has his marbles unlike Chef Louie, but I'm also an incredible driver." said Roger.
"You'd better be. I still want to try out that pumpkin spice cinnamon roll." said Scratch.
"It was supposed to be a Halloween treat, but I figured it'd be great for your friend." said Roger.
Luz and Amity noticed a bunch of people dancing to saxophone music being played by Edric.
"You want to try that out?" said Luz.
Amity nodded.
"Driver, stop the carriage." said Luz.
Mike stopped the carriage and Luz and Amity got out before the two began dancing with each other.
Roger stopped his carriage as well.
"Check it out, dancing music." said Molly.
Ollie held a hand out to Molly.
"May I have this dance Millie?" said Ollie.
Molly blushed.
"I thought you'd never ask." said Molly.
She grabbed Ollie's hand and was led out of the carriage before the two began dancing.
"This should make up for that school dance when I found out about Scratch's existence." Ollie whispered into Molly's ear.
"Not official, but I get the gesture." Molly whispered.
Luz sighed.
"This actually feels good. Nothing can ruin this moment." said Luz.
But then the music changed to clarinet music, shocking everyone present.
"Hey what the?" said Luz.
Everyone noticed that in Edric's place was Squidward who was playing his clarinet.
"This music is very offensive." said Roger.
"Yeah, I agree." said Eddy, "And I'm allowing a guy of Filipino/Korean decent to fill in for me in the musical parts of Sebastian."
"I don't remember Squidward taking over to play his clarinet." said Luz.
"What happened to my brother?" said Amity.
Backstage; Edric was tied up and gagged and tried to get out.
The audience groaned in annoyance.
"Why does that music sound like a dying animal?" said Hailey.
"I don't know, but it should be dead." said Scott.
"Somebody better do something about this." said Katya.
"On it." said Steve.
He stood up and whistled, causing everyone even the performers to look at Steve.
"Attention everyone, as President of the Boiling Isles, I've just issued an executive order. If a cephalopod plays the clarinet or performs any kind of music or dance number in a terrible way, then everyone present can pelt him or her with tomatoes." said Steve.
Squidward became shocked.
"What?" said Squidward.
Everyone cheered happily before they began throwing tomatoes at Squidward.
The squid screamed in shock as he was being pelted by tomatoes.
Roger walked off stage and returned with a freed Edric and a salad bar full of tomatoes which the people on stage began tossing at Squidward.
Later; the setting had changed to a lake like setting at night with Luz and Amity on a boat that Luz was rowing while Roger, Molly, Scratch, Ollie, Eddy, as well as Gus and Bria were following behind without the two girls noticing.
Bria smiled at her sister.
"Ariel and the Princess are a good couple!" She said.
Gus nodded.
"I know, but we need to set the mood up for them to kiss!" He said.
Eddy nodded.
"My time to shine again." said Eddy.
"OOH, OOH, LET ME DO IT!" Scratch said before flying off.
The others groaned in annoyance.
"Oh boy, here we go again." said Molly.
Luz kept on rowing when Scratch started singing horribly, much to the shock of Luz and Amity.
"Is that a dying animal?" said Luz.
"Couldn't be worst then the clarinet playing." said Ollie.
"HEY!" yelled Squidward's voice.
Scratch kept on terribly singing before being vacuumed up by Roger who was holding a dust buster which he then discarded.
"Ain't no way we're listening to that." said Roger.
But then Eddy was pulled off stage by a vaudeville cane before Scott Denoga back in the crab suit appeared on stage with a stick.
"Good thing I know how to set the mood." said Scott.
He tapped the stick on a tree.
"Percussion." said Scott.
Some percussion instruments started playing.
"Strings." said Scott.
Some string instruments started playing.
"Winds." said Scott.
Wind instruments started playing.
"Words." said Scott.
He then began singing the 2023 version of Kiss the Girl as Luz became confused and looked around before turning back to Amity.
"Did you hear what could have been a crab singing?" said Luz.
Amity shook her head as the audience laughed.
Scott continued singing as Roger joined in.
The two motioned for Molly, Ollie, Gus, and Bria to come closer.
"Sing with us now." said Roger.
The six then sang some of Kiss the Girl before stopping for an instrumental break as Luz kept on rowing away.
The two rowed over to a hollow tree with some tree branches covering the hollow part and Gus and Bria opened it up as Roger sang some more.
The boat stopped in the middle of the tree and Scott pushed it around in a circle slowly before the performers minus Luz and Amity resumed singing the song.
Luz and Amity looked at each other and inched closer to each other.
Everyone looked on happily.
"Here we go, the moment we've all been waiting for." said Molly.
But then a loud farting sound was heard that tipped the boat over and made Luz and Amity fall in the water.
"NO!" yelled Scott.
He was dragged off stage by the vaudeville cane as Eddy reappeared in his place still in the crab costume.
"All that planning, ruined." said Eddy.
Roger chuckled nervously.
"My bad, I had some bad oysters." said Roger.
Everyone glared at Roger.
Nearby; Sonic and Shadow had saw the whole thing and Shadow groaned in annoyance.
"Oh come on." said Shadow.
"Those flatulence inducing oysters ruined our moment." said Sonic.
The setting changed to Ursula's sea cave where MacArthur was watching the whole thing from her crystal ball.
"Why those idiots, they allowed a one legged meerkat to have more stinky flatulence then me." said MacArthur.
She groaned and the six legged octopus is mad
"But that was a close call, a little too close!" She said as she went walking around. "Those two will be kissing by tomorrow and I can't let that happen!"
She then went to her cabinet and opened one only it was Eda and Camila who were changing clothes getting ready for the next scene and they screamed as MacArthur closed it fast embarrassed.
"Good thing I've got something else to change my appearance." Said MacArthur.
She opened a drawer and pulled out two concealment stones and put them together before a puff of smoke appeared around her.
The sea witch laughed before the smoke cleared up, revealing that she now had the appearance of Jabba the Hutt.
She looked at herself and became shocked as the audience laughed.
"Oh wait, hold on." Said MacArthur.
She pulled the stones apart, changing her back to normal.
She put the stones back together and changed into Chris McLean.
MacArthur groaned and started removing the stones and putting them back together over and over again, changing into different people each time.
Then Roger walked on stage and grabbed the stones before putting them back together while MacArthur was still holding them, turning her into Amity with her original hair style, but in her current color.
The meerkat walked off.
"Thank you." Said MacArthur.
She started laughing evilly before she began coughing violently.
The audience groaned.
"Aw come on. Not another COVID victim." Said Sharon McGee.
The setting quickly changed to a balcony of the castle with Luz looking outside in sadness as Camila, Eda, and Bump were with her.
Eda looked at the Queen.
"This might not be a good time." Said Eda.
But Camila walked over to Luz.
"Is everything okay Mija?" She asked.
Luz looked at her mom.
"Yeah, I'm fine, I'm just not to sure about this Ariel girl.
Everyone became shocked.
"What, why?" said Bump.
"She can't talk. I wont stop until I find the cotton candy haired goddess with the beautiful voice." said Luz.
Eda scoffed.
"Sure, she's going to be walking by on the beach singing a melodious tune." Eda said sarcastically.
The group heard some singing, confusing them.
"What's that sound?" said Camila.
Everyone looked out of the balcony and saw the disguised MacArthur walking on the beach while singing with a shell necklace on her.
Luz became stunned.
"Spoke to so." said Eda.
